"It doesn't matter. I didn't recognise you, you've changed much from the little girl i once knew" he chuckled

Blue laughed. "It's the ears, Isn't it?" she asked jokingly.

He smirked playfully shaking his head "Most probably, they have grown awfully big" he teased.

Blue blushed. "What happened to you after I left?" she asked, concerned

"It all just...Went downhill" he sighed. "Joined up with the army..." he shook his head

"I'm so sorry about your brother...." She said softly, looking at the ground.

"Its...Its fine. He wouldn't have wanted me there anyway" he shrugged, looking down at the floor, hurt in his eyes.

Juzu crooned softly and clambered up onto Bennett's shoulder and gently licked his face comfortingly.


Blue pulled her friend into a hug. "I'm so sorry," she said. "I never should have left...."

He smiled a little "No. It's fine. You had to leave, i couldn't drag you down too." He hugged her back gently, before fondly nudging Juzu's chin.

"Do you remember the daggers we secretly made in the blacksmith's shop?" Blue asked.


Juzu licked his finger gently.

"It's just weird though, seeing him about to kill someone, then run after them and hug them, suddenly remembering them from his childhood." I say to her. "Ehh but it's his life, so whatever." I push away a branch. "So, how did you like the tavern back there?"
