If not, Hiroshi would not allow it and I can see it become a potential a motivation for him to cancel the vassalage.
The same time maybe I'll need to start up something with the Ueno first.

If the proposal fails, I'm still pretty cool with it. Not everything has to succeed. though failure really drives home that the nishijima clan is destined to die off

Well I was thinking of her being sold to one of the clans. So maybe the head of the Ueno clan knows someone in china who wants to help or maybe he was asked and sends her to work for them.

sold... Was she a slave in China or it's some kind of political trade ? If so then it would be a long way from a servant from china to be a military officer. She would need to do something remarkable to get the attention of the lord... I'm thinking, how about she started as a servant and got his attention by saving him from an assassination attempt ?

no idea I mean I don't even know what she should be doing to be honest. I mean we left off at a meeting that was never finished. I have no idea what the plans were if people decided to stay in the same location or go home. I don't have enough to go off of.
