Watching him leave Celena sighed with relief and smiled to herself. Yay! He left! Finishing off the rest of her food Celena hopped down from the tree and began to walk off.

Eli had stopped behind a building that was on the route to go back to the school classes. He waited for Celena to walk his way, and he saw her walk past him. He smiled, creeping up behind her. In one quick, smooth, motion, Eli grabbed her from behind and twirled her around. "Hey babe," He grinned and winked and chuckled so she knew he was kidding.

Celena turned around the corner feeling someone behind her, she began to turn around. But suddenly someone grabbed her by the arms and twirled her around.


"Hey babe," Celena looked at the face and groaned.


I thought he had left already... Damn, he got me. Not to be disheartened Celena extracted his hands from her and began to walk away again.

"Hey, wait up!" Eli started walking quickly to keep up with her. "Aren't I romantic?" He was being sarcastic, like usual. He knew he had to show to her that he was kidding or else she probably would have kicked his ass. He laughed at the thought. He followed her all the way to the door of the building. Once they walked inside, he grabbed her hand. He knew he was being a butt, but that didn't stop him. He loved making Celena frustrated.

Celena didn't turn around as she made her way to the building. Hearing Eli say that he was romantic made Celena scoff, More of a pain in the ass, if you ask me. As she entered the building she felt someone grab her hand turning around Celena looked at Eli and gave him a full on glare.


"Mind taking your hands off me," she didn't want to make a scene not that they were now inside the building.


But Eli was making it rather difficult for her to keep her cool. She really didn't want others to look at her and wonder if she was his girlfriend once that started she wouldn't be left alone by anyone.

"Yea, I mind," He grinned and chuckled, knowing that he was getting under her skin. He stopped walking and turned to face her. He lifted their hands high in the air, so if anyone were around they'd see it, and he spoke in a smart-a** tone. "Now don't you agree that our hands fit pretty nicely together?" He was still grinning.

Celena gritted her teeth, does he want me to murder him? Slowly extracting her hands from his Celena replied with a voice coated in sickly sweetness.


"No I don't think so. Now if you will excuse me I have to go to my next class."


Leaving quickly Celena hoped that no one had been around to see that.

This time, Eli let her go. He'd figured he had tormented her enough for the day. Some people did see him holding her hand and even came up and talked to him about it. Soon, the word spread and a lot of people were asking him about it. He didn't see the big deal, but these people feed off of pointless stuff like that. And he fed off of their ignorance and how deep down, they couldn't believe it and they didn't agree with it. He loved it and he didn't care.


He figured out where Celena's last class was, and he knew she was probably sick of him by now, especially after the stunts he pulled after lunch, he didn't care. Eli wanted to see her at least once more before the day ended. He ditched his class a little early and waited outside of Celena's class for her.

During class several people approached her each whom Celena had never even made eye contact with before. Each of them asked her about Eli and Celena froze. Someone saw, knowing Eli he probably didn't see the big deal giving out information like that and had handed all of them everything they wanted to know. Fed up with the people of her class Celena immediately left class hoping to avoid anyone else before going home. But then stopped short as she saw Eli. He is still smiling with that weird face... Celena groaned and walked off not saying a word. She then realised that she had spoken to him and groaned again. I can't even not talk to him for a day... Sighing Celena tried to make her way to the main entrance to leave the school but several people stopped her asking her about Eli. Why don't they just go talk to Eli!? trying to get away Celena looked at them all and asked them to move.

Eli had followed Celena, trying to catch up to her. He watched people stop her and ask her about him and honestly he felt bad. He knew she was the type of girl who didn't like that sort of thing. He heard her ask them to move, and when they didn't, Eli just had to step in. "She asked you guys to move," His voice came from behind her, in a harsh and strict voice. He wasn't smiling anymore. He was being serious for once in his life.

Celena frowned at them as they didn't move but then heard a sharp, strict voice from behind her. Turning Celena stared at Eli's face. So serious... Celena found herself staring at him and then quickly looked away. Looking at the people around the two of them they all whispered to each other. Knowing that he had made it worse Celena sighed and tried to think how he had the best in his mind and he was trying to help her. This was the first time I saw such a face on him... He looked... A little cool... Slowly the people moved away from her and Celena gave Eli one more peak before going on her way. Behind she heard people call her rude and such behind her. Sighing Celena shook her head. It was a bad idea to get involved with him.

Eli let her walk away, feeling like it was the best thing right now. He heard the comments from the people around, and he just turned around in anger. He wanted to say something, stick up for her, but knew it was no good. Not now anyways. Maybe in the future. Maybe when he had won her- hopefully wins her. He started to walk home, then it turned into a run. He wanted to release some of his anger.


When he got home, e took a shower after running all the way home, since it made him sweat a lot. In the shower, something changed in him. His mood towards Celena changed. It wasn't all fun and games anymore. He realized he really did bother her, and he didn't understand that. He was angry because anyone else in that school would be all over him, but she wasn't. She really didn't want anything to do with him, and that made him sad too.


He didn't bother trying to find her before school the next day. He just waited to see her during first period, but he didn't say hi to her, like he wanted to. By now, he was just as fed up with her as she was him.

Arriving home Celena avoided her servants but failed as they glared at her as she walked past them. Ignoring them as she always did Celena made it to her room and shut the door. Leaning against the door she collapsed onto the floor. Too much had happened today and now people we would try to find out about her. She was going to have to be careful. She didn't think about Eli as she washed and went to bed without having dinner.


Waking up the next morning Celena went to school without breakfast not feeling that hungry but once she got to school she grabbed her apple and took a bite. Finishing off her apple Celena entered the class and took her seat not noticing the others around her. Soon she heard whispers around her saying things like, 'maybe yesterday was a mistake?', 'maybe he doesn't know her.', 'of course why would Eli be interested in a girl like her.' trying to ignore the comments Celena couldn't help but look at Eli's back and realise that he hadn't gotten up to her and talked to her like he normally did. Okay now that is settled he shouldn't be bothering me now. But Celena couldn't help but feel a little lonely despite the small reassurance she had given herself. After class finished Celena disappeared into her tree and decided to miss the next lesson.

It was actually pretty hard for Eli to ignore Celena. He had really started to like her, and the games he played. But he just felt like leaving her alone right now would be the best for him and her. He knew if he tried to talk to her, and she ignored him, it wouldn't make him chuckle anymore, but it would make him angry or lonely. Plus, he saw that his actions were going too far for her liking. So he tried to avoid it all together.


He ditched second period early to go to lunch early. He wanted to eat alone, which was a lonely thing to do to begin with. He went to the tree on campus where he found Celena the day before. He didn't climb the tree, instead he sat on the grass and leaned up against the tree and started eating his lunch.

Celena woke up with a start and looked at her watch, "How long was I-"


Suddenly she lost her balance and fell out of the tree, a small squeal escaped her lips as she embraced herself for impact. Opening her eyes, Celena realised that she had made a soft landing. Looking below her she noticed that someone was laying underneath her. Quickly she got up and became very flustered. She had never fallen out of a tree before and now she had managed to hurt someone whilst she had done so for the first time. Her face feeling a little hot Celena didn't look at the person's face but felt like he reminded her of Eli in somewhat way. Don't think that! Soon everyone will remind you of Eli in some way or another!


"I am so sorry! Are you alright?"

Eli was so startled when somebody landed on him, but noticing it was Celena, didn't surprise him too much. He just hadn't seen her up there. He gulped, "Yea, I'm fine. Are you okay? You're the one who fell, miss clumsy?" He forced a smile.

Celena picked out the leaves in her hair and gave him a small smile. Realising that she had just smiled Celena thought to herself why she was glad that he wasn't ignoring her.


"Yeah... I am alright..."


Why am I so happy...? Deciding that it wasn't good to continue on the subject that she was thinking about she leaned against the tree and sighed, trying to make a conversation with Eli to stop the thoughts in her head.


"What are you ding skipping class?

He had so many thoughts and questions racing through his mind. Like why was she even talking to him now? He knew if he said anything, he would make a total a* of himself, so he stood up. "That's a good question. I should probably get back," It was way after lunch by now. He started walking away, but stopped. Something in him wouldn't let him walk away. So he turned back around and he was speaking loudly by now, "Why are you so confusing? Why do you hate me?!" The second question came out more sad than anything else.

Celena felt sad as he began to walk away, You have only known him for not more than a week and you are acting this way with that dude!? What is wrong with you!? Celena blocked her thoughts from her mind and then looked up at him with surprise as she heard him ask her why she was confusing. I don't know what to do about tha- But then she heard him ask her why she hated him and her heart tightened slightly.


"It isn't that I hate you as a person..."


Celena didn't know what to say. She didn't hate him but she hated the way people looked at her when she was around him... But she wanted to be with him... I think.... Not knowing what to do Celena ruffled her hair with both of her hands making her hair look like a bird nest for a second. What am I suppose to do?





(Are we going to make them a couple now or make them wait a little?)

(Um, that doesn't matter to me. What do you think we should do?)


Eli felt lost, like she was letting him dangle along with her sentence. "You don't hate me as a person? What is that supposed to mean?" He was almost yelling now, but he still had a little control. He was losing it slowly, though, out of frustration.

 

[EternalMusic]

(Maybe now or Eli might lose it, . How about Eli hears everything she says in her thoughts?)


Celena looked up at him with a frustrated face, "I don't know!"


She was starting to yell too. When he teases me I don't like it but it still make my heart go faster and when he isn't near me I don't know what to do and it makes me feel lonely... What am I suppose to do!? I don't know what to do in this situation!? I never had this sort of feeling before! Celena ruffled her hair even more and she clenched her teeth. Her young looking face made her look like she was a little kid angry about not getting the treats that she wanted. She took a quick look at Eli and felt her face become bright red.

Eli knew all of her thoughts and internal conflicts. He already knew she hated the attention from anyone in school, but he had just heard that she did like him and she liked to be around him. His expression looked conflicted and worried, "So what do you want? Forget the whole world right now. What do you want?!" All he wanted was to hear that she liked him as much as he liked her.

Eli looked at him and tilted her head to the side, what did I want... What I wanted....


She felt tears trickling over her read cheeks and she whispered softly but not too soft that he couldn't hear her, "I want Eli..."


She then burst into tears and began to act like a little child. how did he know what I was thinking? How does he do that? Actually I don't care anymore... I love him...


Saying the last part out loud Celena cried.

Eli's eyes widened, and he smiled. He actually smiled when he heard her. When she started to cry, he sat down next to her and put his arm around her. He was still smiling, although it was happy and sad. Sad because she was crying and he didn't understand why. "Hey, why are you crying?" His finger traced her chin, so his eyes met hers.

Celena began to take sobbing breathes and then looked up at Eli's eyes as he lifted her chin so she could look at him.


"I don't know... Am I happy?"


Celena honestly didn't know why she was crying. Maybe it was the idea of Eli leaving her by herself?
