Romance rp

Celena stopped short at the mention of the lake and tried to remember what he was talking about. What lak- oh... that lake... Surprised he would bring the lake up she looked at him, maybe it is best to face the past... maybe...


"How about we go to the lake...."
 
Not looking at him Celena looked in front of her and gave a stubborn nod. She was going to have to face everything, there is no point in hiding anymore. Of course she wasn't ready to open up to Eli completely yet but. She had to be strong to be able to face the problems ahead of her. The first step is facing it.....


"Yeah... Let's go to the lake..."


Tugging on his hand gently, Celena began to make her way towards the lake.
 
Eli followed her to the lake, which only took about twenty minutes to walk there. "So here we are." He said, staring at the large area filled with water. He was going to ask why she wanted to come here, but he didn't want to be too pushy, so instead he asked, "What do you wanna do here?"
 
Celena looked at the floor and sat down on the ground. Sighing she allowed her head to tilt slightly feeling the wind blow into her face. Blow away the memories even if it is only for a little time... Remembering something she didn't want to her nails dug into the dirt and she gripped to the Earth. Her eyes clenched tight she sighed and took a deep breath. Without opening her eyes she allowed her nails to release the punctured Earth and wrapped her arms around her knees cradling herself, rocking slightly.
 
Eli sat down next to her, and he looked out onto the lake. He noticed her actions, but he kept quiet, letting her do her thing. He knew that she has demons to battle and he guessed this might be one of them. He was just happy to be a part of it.
 
Celena sighed calmly and looked at the lake. She had tried to end the misery here... But now she was going to live through it... Giving Eli a small peak she smiled to herself and laid on the grass. Maybe Eli is the reason why I can do this...
 
He noticed, out of his peripherals, that Celena glanced at him slightly. He smiled as he watched her lay on the grass. Then he decided to follow her movements. in a matter of seconds his back on pressed up against the grass and he stared up at the sky. To make conversation, he stared at the clouds, "Hey, you see that cloud right there? It looks like a duck, doesn't it?"
 
Celena took another peak as he laid down and then looked at the cloud that he had pointed at. It does look like a duck... Looking at the other clouds she pointed to one in the shape of a horse.


"...Horse..."
 
He chuckled at the sight of the horse. And then he laughed when he spotted a deformed cat. "Look at that cat. It has three legs!" He pointed up into the sky and then turned his head and looked at Celena.
 
Celena looked at the three legged cat and gave a small chuckle at Eli's enthusiasm looking at him again she saw him looking at her. Blushing she looked away and then looked at a another cloud.


"....Snake..."
 
Eli didn't even look at the cloud-snake she pointed at. Instead, he pulled the top part of his body up, his arms held him steady. Still looking at her, he closed his eyes as he leaned down and pressed his lips against hers. He hoped it wouldn't make her mad or uncomfortable.
 
Celena took a peak at him and then noticed that he had propped himself up. Turning to face him she noticed him closing his eyes and then leaning in to kiss her. Slightly taken back she retreated at first but then pushed her lips slightly against his before turning away her face a soft pink and she looked back up at the sky.


"....Ice Cream..."
 
He laughed, "You're cute," He said, laying back down on his back. He was happy she kissed him back and he also thought it was adorable how she turned pink.
 
Celena looked at him through the sides of her eyes and then looked away, cute? me? Not wanting to say anything that would ruin this nice atmosphere she laid there quietly
 
Celena was enjoying the tranquility and silence that the two of them were in but as Eli sat up, it was apparent that he didn't enjoy it as much as her. Asking her where she wanted to go Celena racked through the only very few places she had been to. Sighing she knew se didn't want to go home yet but she didn't know anywhere else to go. Looking at Eli she decided to allow him to choose.


"You can pick where go now Eli."
 
Celena looked at Eli and gave a small shrug but for the sake of doing something and escaping home, she quickly covered it with a small nod.


"Yeah..."
 
"Let's go get some then. I know this really good place. My treat." He grinned as he stood up. He held out a hand for her to grab so he could help her up.
 
Saying that he would like to buy her some ice cream Celena gave a small nod and dusted off the dirt and grass on her clothes. Noticing his out stretched hand, she slipped her hand into his making sure not to make eye contact.


"Whereabouts is it?"
 
"It's a little past downtown... But we shouldn't walk there. My house isn't too far from here. How about we walk to my house and then we can take my car?" Eli suggested, hoping to not be too overwhelming.
 
Celena listened as he said that they shouldn't walk to the place. Her heart skipped a beat as she thought about him thinking of her. Deciding that it was a one off thing she shrugged the action off and gave a nod to the suggestion of going to his house to take his car.


"Yes that's fine."
 
He smiled, "Okay sounds good." He grabbed her hand and started walking towards the direction of his house. He usually wasn't so clingy, but there was just something about this girl... He wanted to be all over her every second, but he knew he couldn't do that. It would be too much. So he tried to be careful, hoping that holding her hand was okay.
 
Celena looked at his hand and decided that it would be alright for just this once. Allowing him to lead her Celena waited him to get his car.
