Once they got to Eli's house he said, "Hold on let me go inside real quick and get my keys." He would have invited her in, if the keys weren't right by the front door. So it didn't take him long to grab the keys and be back outside. He unlocked the car and opened the passenger door for Celena, then he walked to his side and slid in the seat.

Slipping into the car, Celena gracefully closed the door and waited for Eli to enter.


"So where are we going exactly."

Eli put the key in the ignition and back up, then turning onto the street. "You'll see," He smirked as he drove all the way downtown, which was about 10 minutes away and then an extra 5 minutes to get to the ice cream shop.

Celena looked away from Eli and gazed at the scenery that they passed. Sighing she hummed very quietly to herself and looked at the area that they were entering.

Eli pulled into the small parking lot. "Here we are!" He open his car door and stepped outside.

Celena followed Eli's actions as she unbuckled and hoped out of the car. Looking around she noticed a cute ice cream shop and gave a small smile. Cute... Looking at Eli her eyes sparkled at the thought of having ice cream and waited for him to go ahead.

Eli lead the way inside, holding the door for Celena. This was Eli's 'go-to' place when things were getting too stressful. He had never taken anyone here with him, but he was considered a 'regular' so all of the employees knew him. "Hey," He greeted one, but before he could ask for his regular, the employee asked, "The regular?" And Eli nodded. Then he looked at Celena, "Pick anything you'd like."

Celena watched as Eli entered like he owned the place greeting one of the employee's and watched with amusement as the employee asked him if he wanted the 'regular', she looked at Eli as he nodded his head and then looked at the different assortments of flavours in front of her.


"Cookies and Cream… Please…"

After the two of them received their ice cream, he lead Celena over to a table for two. He sat across from her and licked up his ice cream, "How is it?"

taking a small lick from hers Celena couldn't help but make an 'mmm' sound and smile softly at the amazing assortment of sweet in front of her. She gave a small nod and quickly returned to her robotic self.


"How is yours?"

Eli smiled at the slight emotion she showed, "It's so yummy. It's my favorite, I get it every time."

Celena nodded once and looked outside and watched the people passing by, casually she licked the ice cream in her hand and then took a peak at Eli's smiling face before looking away again.

Eli was fine sitting there in silence, but he'd rather not be boring, so he tried to strike up a conversation. "So... are you having fun?"

Her day dreaming was stopped as Eli asked her if she was having fun. He must be bored... Sorry Eli... Celena gave a slight nod and took another lick of her ice cream


"The ice cream is yummy."

He grinned, "I'm glad. I come here a lot. I've tried all of the flavors. The one you got is one of the better ones."

Seeing that he was grinning Celena gave an inward sigh she was glad that he was smiling. Wait... What~!? Why am I... Trying to push her thoughts aside she focused on the conversation on hand.


"Is that so... I like Cookies n' Cream... It's my favourite..."

Eli nodded, "Yea I love Oreo's. Especially with milk! Cookies n Cream used to be the only ice cream I got when I was little." He tried to make conversation, and even though he'd rather hear more about her and get to know her, just talking to her about anything was enough.

Celena nodded and took another lick. So he liked Cookies n Cream before... Wait... Why am I noting that? Celena blinked a couple of times pushing thoughts once again away and focused on the conversation.


"I normally choose this or chocolate..."

 

[mrsguppiepants]

Eli looked at her, right in the eyes. "That's what my ice cream is! Although, I have m&m's all blended up and its soft serve. It's a perfect blend really; the hard m&m's and the soft ice cream."

Celena looked at and gave a nod, "Maybe I will try it next time..."


Wait... Next time? Celena what are you saying!? Sighing defeated by her own mouth, Celena looked at Eli and then took a small nibble off the top of her cone.

He tried to hold back his smile at her comment, "Yea you'll definitely have to try it sometime." Within a couple minutes he had his ice cream eaten. "Mmmm," He hummed.

Finishing at the same time as him, Celena popped the end of her cone into her mouth and smiled softly, "... That was nice..."


Wiping her hands on the napkins on the table she looked at Eli.

 

[mrsguppiepants]

"It was. I've never brought anyone here with me, so yea, it was really nice." He paused, wondering if she already had too much of him for the day. "Anything else you wanna do?"

Celena looked at the time and saw that there were one or two more hours before night fall and looked at Eli, slight hope glittering in her eyes.


"Mind if we do something else? For a little while more? ... I don't really know where to go though..."

He nodded, thinking hard about where to go. Obviously, she didn't want to go home, so... "What about my place? We could watch a movie or something? No pressure."
