Patient? Patient?!

Well... you said "please." =)

(Seriously, if there's anything I can do or recommend, let me know? I've had migraines my entire life. I know how to handle mine most of the time.)

One of big difference between T'kar's Character Sheet and sheets I've done before is the addition of a "Development" Tab - about 18 or questions from two very good RP YouTube channels that I took to answering to help flesh out T'kar and make him more of what I want him to be.

A buddy of mine has a lifetime of bodybuilding behind him and it shows. He told me once, "Your body is your temple; you get out of it what you put into it." While I could not agree more with my own body, I think the same applies to roleplaying games (including the ones I run). I see games on RP Nation where folks seem to put in a bare minimum and the games don't last very long. Then you see the games that are well-developed along with interesting Characters and a Game Master who really puts themselves into making it great.

That's the kind of GM I like to try to be, so why not put in a little more for my newest Character? =)

Right now, however, I am more interested in getting to know more about your military training, and if we can hope to see more forces from your fleet coming down to render more aid."

What information does my character have in this direction, if any?

You do know that this whole attack was expected to be sufficient to make a strong beachhead and begin to kick the Invid in their teeth, but the level of resistance was greater than expected by a factor of 100. Before you lost contact with the rest of the fleet, you know that the Invid were taking out the large ships with their swarming attacks with a stunning level of ease, and only a handful of ships were able to pull back far enough to get away.

It is probable that there are still some ships in the solar system that are monitoring the area and trying to get a better sense of the numbers the UEEF are dealing with, providing that intel to the rest of the fleet for a second (and hopefully more successful) attempt to liberate the planet.

You do know that the sheer numbers of the enemy were unprecedented.

Just wanted to shout out here that I'm having a lot of fun playing T'kar "Ursa Maker" here! I definitely made the right choice in retiring Gabi. Thanks for supporting my decision to do so, everybody! =)

I've been fighting some of my depression lately, and haven't had any motivation to do any posting. I'm trying to fight it off, but it is not easy for me right now. I will do my best to shake this as soon as possible.

I hope to post here later today or tomorrow. Stay safe and have fun, friends! =)

I'm good to continue, I'm just having a bit of a mental block on anything else of substance that Alan could contribute to the current scene.

So since Rykon and D. Rex's characters are good to go (though they've been mostly quiet during this scene), where do we go from here?

Deunan listened carefully to the large alien, taking in his words. "I can agree to what you ask, so long as you understand that the group you are looking to become a part of has been a team for several years, have fought alongside each other and depended on one another for our very lives. My first priority is to keep my team safe and preserve the lives of as many people as possible. If at any time it becomes clear that you are going to be a liability, I'll be forced to ask you to move on. But let us all hope that it never comes to that, and that we will all become fast friends in no time."

She glances over at Alan and Marlon, then back to T'kar. "Is this acceptable to you? Can you see yourself working with us under those conditions? Because I can bet dimes to dollars that your help will be invaluable to our efforts to rid the Earth of the Invid."
What is T'kar's response to Deunan's comment?

I hope to post sometime in the next 24 hours. =)

Psychie Psychie Where did T'kar wind up? Did he help get people to safety?

I'm not sure who is supposed to post next and if it's me, I don't want to hold up the game. =)

No need to worry. You are not holding up the game, but thanks for your concern.

It is somewhat on you guys now, though. What do you wish to do? Have Marlon, Alan and Deunan take T'kar back to the bunker? Stay overnight with Mateo and his wife? Do something else entirely?
