Here's one combination example I got off of Palladium forms. Need extra P.P.E.? Ley Line Time Capsule plus Energy Sphere. Cast Energy Sphere, fill it up, throw it in the time capsule. That thing will last for months!
Other possible combinations that might prove useful (of course, all of these are subject to GM approval.):

Magical-Adrenal Rush on Snowfall's 10-headed hydra?

(Re: Energize. I didn't know Energizing non-tattoo spells was a thing until I read the description. Now, the cost is kind of ridiculous (12 + you have to cast the spell you wish to energize all over again) so I don't think I'll be taking that one. I guess the tattoo-Energize has me spoiled! =) )

Time Slip + Dimensional Portal = See ya!

Featherlight and any weight-based tattoo involving travel. =)

Ooh. Timeslip + Featherlight + Dimensional Portal?

Black Sun tattoo (stealth and short-range travel) + Aura of Death (hides caster from infrared/thermograph)? Add Invisibility (Simple)?

The pondering continues. =)

I wonder if we can use the Featherlight spell to lower the weight of the Badger down enough to be able to Dimensional Teleport it here . . . We will have to experiment!

Magical-Adrenal Rush on Snowfall's 10-headed hydra?
That combo will have to be pondered before I give that the ok. Since the hydra is not a 'real' creature and is simply an extoplasmic creation, it may not work.

BTW Dann, you come up with some pretty crazy combos of spells there! I don't know if all of them will be effective, but I like the way you think! Keep it up!

The Badger is too big for the spell to be effective on it. Sorry. Good idea, though.

Psychie Psychie Would you mind taking a look at the spell selections I have for Snowfall and telling me how you wanted to go about trading for some Terra's spells? She has at least one spell (Meteor) that he simply has no equivalent to trade for.

Sherwood Sherwood Snowfall is going to want to purchase spells when we are allowed to go shopping again. With millions in the bank, he is willing to spend quite a lot to see what he can get. Especially from dealers like Moloch. Unless you want him to hold off on that, that's naturally the first direction he will want to go.

Concerning matters of magic, he is also definitely willing to listen to any advice from people like Lord Brazamal, Olsen, and any magic-users including Terra and folks Terra knows on her home plane here or in Dweomer.

Silanon Silanon On another subject, is there anything we can actually do for Eron? Not to speed up his healing process, but to make him (and "Fred the happy little symbiote") more comfortable?

That is fine. You will have chances to buy more spells as time goes by.

With all that Snowfall and Terra have gone through, do you really think that there will be a problem with us swapping spells? Psht! You can learn as many of my spells that Sherwood will let you.

Psy makes a good point. Prior to game start, I will let Snowfall copy another ten spells from Terra's list. It takes time for all that studying, and there are only so many hours in the day.

Heh heh! I appreciate you and I know that, but I'm also the kind of guy who doesn't like to take anything for granted. Hence my asking. It's only right to ask. =)

O.K.! And she can copy 10 from Snowfall's too, right (once I have finalized that list)? It's a trade after all! I want to give my part and at least offer. =)

Terra can copy five, since her time is taken up with getting all those tattoos and healing up from them.

Sherwood Sherwood I've been looking out across the internet and I've come across a couple of sources that say those who can cast invocation magic can also cast two other forms of magic:

"Combat Magic" from Adventure Sourcebook 5: Mercenary Adventures and...

..."Space Magic" from Fleets of the Three Galaxies (page 112).

I have never heard of either of these. Are these forms of magic allowed in your game? In other words, should I buy these books?

..."Space Magic" from Fleets of the Three Galaxies (page 112).
A quick look at this seems to me to be more magic for a space-based game, with stuff like Seal Leak and Vacuum Speak. Unless the game is going to make a jump to space, it doesn't seem worth the money to get the book just for these spells.
"Combat Magic" from Adventure Sourcebook 5: Mercenary Adventures and...
I'm not sure what book this is, and I don't seem to have it, unless I'm looking for a different title in my list of PDFs.

EDIT: Found it. There are a few spells here, but also, not something I would go for just to get the dozen or so new magic spells in the book.

Thanks, bud!

Since you own both, are there spells from either of those that you want in the game?

No, lets stick with what is in the Book of Magic for our Invocation spells.

Sherwood Sherwood Questions! Because I'm hoping you're bored and have nothing else to do but have fun answering roleplaying questions! Yeah, that's it!

1. Have you examined Chi-magic?

2. Concerning the Tattoo, "Dimensional Teleport to a Stone Pyramid (Secrets of the Atlanteans, page 174 in physical copy)," could Snowfall use this to return to the stone pyramid Terra calls home? If so, this with Featherlight is one hell of a way to get the party back to the plane and total safety.

3. I am still in the process of writing up Asian Magic Spells. So far, I've created four, only one of which would have any combative effects in a Rifts campaign (but they are all certainly Asian in origin!). I'll let you know when I find something that Snowfall might use in our game here? =)
