Komaeda changes clothing depending on arcs in the story. He actually built quite the wardrobe for himself over the years. I really like him in blue, I wish we got to see it on him more often.

Things:
- The pixelated squares are thematical and are tied with Hinata (Because of course they are, they are soul mates.)
- The swirling pattern on his shirt is foreshadowing for his death.
- While servant, Kurokuma in Japanese refers to Komaeda as 'ハードゲ or 'Hard gay', which was a Japanese term/movement for Japanese homosexuals that dress masculine to flaunt themselves. They wore quote: 'Distinctive clothing made of black leather with silver studs and chains.' Which are all elements to Komaeda's specifically punk inspired style during his time as a Remanent of Despair.
- The last outfit is his latest official merchandise outfit where everyone was given a symbolic flower. Komaeda's is the snowdrop flower, which represents hope and resilience in Japan.

yeah, ryza gets multiple outfits throughout the atelier ryza trilogy and kohaku has...so many outfits.

Sometimes but not very often. In the anime he’d sometimes change into stuff like a simple shirt and shorts when he was in the hospital or getting his automail fixed, and then there was the big change in outfit once he went to our side of the gate, but besides that he very much tends to stick to one outfit

While when he's specifically Joker he doesn't change (outside of the player being able to pick costumes if they want, but that's not canon), he does have many outfits he wears as his normal everyday self

There's a sad running theory that Komaeda never learned how to tie his shoes. Since he lost his parents during elementary school, nobody was there to teach him and that's why his shoes are zipper or slip on. :<

At some point, one of the brothers throws a spell at the other, misses and it accidently hits the group. All our characters become different styles.

Joker is back to being 3d with dialogue options, the anime characters are manga panels with talk bubbles. Everyone turns around but instead of Komaeda's usual sprites, his luck turns him into his pixel sprite. No dialogue, just digital beeps for his footsteps. He is only like three apples tall or something adorable like that.

Zenitsu and Bakugo will defenitly become manga panel style. For Prompto,either the way he looks in Final Fantasy 15 or in Final Fantasy 7 ich blocky style.

i never learned to tie my shoes bc i just dont have the dexterity,
