Maybe perhaps gain revenge on the ones whom hurt them? Or perhaps trying to rid the world of humans or another species? Could honestly depend on the type of person they are and what they had been through. I don't really know? It should be in someway connected to their backstory in my honest opinion.

Can they be in the school and like some big event happens that breaks down the school and basically puts like big red glowing targets on them showing they're the ones who are going to destroy the world?(Not literally but you get what I mean)

Also, can Daimons or Angels be created? Is there such a thing? An artificial Daimon or Angel?

Okay, what about...the school is crumbling to the ground, cracks(maybe glowing cracks for that extra spooky magic effect) are spreading and they corner all of of twelve heroes into the biggest hallway of the school, make it nice and public. But then just when they think the school is about to fall on them amd the rest of the school, they stop. They start to form circles around the protagonists' feet, swirling and complex patterns. Whispers of the prophecy said in various old tongues echo throughout the hall in strange otherworldly voices. Wispy versions of the protagonists appear behind the actual ones and grab their necks, hands or whatever with their smoky hands. It is with this they burn a clear and very visible symbol onto the protagonists(You can decide what exactly). Then the smoky figures disappear and school crumbles finally but the protagonists come out of it mysteriously unharmed at all. Not even a speck of dust. That's what I was thinking anyway

Hmmm I like the idea... but I don't want the school to be gone... Can we use this idea, but make it a nightmare rather instead and then our characters interact in school?

Oh wait, one more question, how present can a side character be? Like can they only pop in once or twice? Appear for long periods of time and then drift away? Be constant but not play a big role or anything?

Yes. Your side character doesn't have to be there 24/7, but does pop in from time to time. Your side character can also just be there for no reason if you wanna do that too. Either or is fine!

Had a random idea... Would everyone like to put themselves in the story as a side character...? But instead you're a goddess/god that just appears from time time to give your character advice, but doesn't really interfere and also disguises themselves as teachers perhaps?
