Grey I thought you'd like the mother of mortars nickname. Also, I'm a pretty big fan of anime and one of the things that distinguishes it from a lot of western film/animation is the use of characters' hair to express their personalities and emotions. The lore you had on elementals just opened up the door for me to use it myself without forcing anything.

Kona would have suggested that she had a lead on a mythical pirate treasure stash (may be lying a tad and not actually have a lead on anything yet, and by a tad I mean completely) and would promise either an item of legend that Kona might have heard Kira has been interested in, or just simply offer a significant cut of the profits of their haul. I think I still prefer Kira already having something in mind that she wants, but feel free to have Kira be shrewd and try to get Kona to commit to other forms of payment before also demanding what she really wants. Kona will try resisting, of course.

Ace Cream I imagine Otto stopped along the way to the meeting to watch a building burning down because it's just so much fun to watch things on fire.

Coming from someone familiar with Infernal Lore, it’s just general common sense not to piss off any one of the Djuke household, less you find yourself without one of your own.
