My exact situation on the LGBT side of stuff is a little more complicated - but the simple answer is you can think of me as Bi. So I like both girls and boys as it turns out!

As for why I made Felix gay? I don't know. I just liked the idea of him being that. No special reason, just the character felt like he should be to me.

I have to admit, I did also find the idea of Felix having a crush on either Asher or Nathan when I first made the original version of Felix would be very cute and fun to write. So that helped.

And I get it. You're just trying to be respectful, and that's good on you.
But if we're friends, or virtual adopted little brother I don't need you to be formal with me.

Also, relating more to the RP, to get a little personal, I'm personally making Jack straight (heterosexual) certainly to bring a little bit of everything into this RP. I definitely feel like it's gonna be interesting to see Asher's crush play out despite Jack not feeling nor ever feeling the same way back to Asher romantically, since he is into girls (not even that he's much into girls, but if he had to chose, it would be girls he liked). I do feel for Asher, as we all do, that he crushes on Jack and thinks he's cute, but he doesn't yet know if Jack is really into liking boys or not like Asher is. That will be interesting to play out imo.

I personally grew up straight, I just found that as a boy, I kind of liked girls. When I was Jack's age, although I wasn't necessarily thinking of it at the time, I knew I generally liked girls. As I got into my last year of high school, I began to find that I like both girls and yes, some boys. It felt weird but I've realized that I am now what we would call "bi" or "bisexual."

With Jack, I just feel like making him straight was the right move and the type of guys he was. It's gonna make it more fun with the spicy drama that could develop with Asher being gay and crushing on Jack, who is straight and could care less about romance and relationships. Also with Jack, I wouldn't even say he is constantly crushing on girls- or has ever crushed on a girl. I just know he would prefer a girl if anything. That part of him is how I felt my whole life up until now. I was always straight, but I wasn't even interested in really girls or boys lol. Hopefully that makes a bit of sense.

Agreed, he is like a little virtually adopted brother. And yea buddy, it's totally fine if you're not formal with us. I do love the respect you have for others though, that's an excellent value to carry with you throughout your life.

And yeah.. Its going to be pretty sad. Possibly make Asher envious when Felix and Nathan seem to work it out.

Oh certainly. I didn't even think of the Felix and Nathan aspect when it seems to work out.

Also knowing Jack, he's gonna wanna remain friends with Asher and won't feel any differently about him when he DOES find out he's gay, and I certainly think Jack is gonna wanna remain friends. It's just a matter of whether or not in Asher's head, this ruins everything. Maybe he feels even resentment towards Nate and Felix if it seems to be working out. I definitely see jealousy in the future, and certainly emotions running high when Asher's feelings for Jack get a little bit more uncontrollable to the point where it's stressing out Asher and he can't hide it away anymore or deny the feelings.

But of course I think it's a little too early, and Jack's friendship with Asher has just formed, so it's certainly at least for Jack a new thing having someone he can now consider a friend around.

That's probably the most Evelyn's spoken about herself thus far, instead of purely just about others. Evelyn's cool and composed shell, having more cracks in it than she likes to admit. Normally keeping herself, not trying to make friends, not only to avoid the pain of being left behind when a kid leaves, but to avoid exposing herself to everyone elses pain...
