You're exactly right. The church and God is supposed to be about love and kindness, but some people in religion don't support that life style. Not all of them, like my mother is religious but fully supports gay people (because who's to say you can't like the same gender?), but some older people tend to not be as forgiving.

It's sad, but it's a harsh reality. Luckily there are some great people out there who do truly believe the values of God, and loving and being kind to EVERYONE.

I'm really bad at cooking eggs. They always end up as scrambled egg, but I don't mean them too.

It is dumb, but it's the world we live in and the reality we face. Your dads are great people who love each other very much, and that's not hurting anyone.

And sadly, with that kind of older generation, they tend to be a lot less accepting of that lifestyle since they were brought up frowning upon loving the opposite gender. But times are changing now. And as to why you visit gma and gpa, they are your dad's parents, and as much as it seems they don't like him, they love him. You always wanna visit your parents. They gave you life. That's just my take on it anyways. Nothing I say is fact or 100% correct, but that's just my take on things.
