Good job pointing out the 50% thing though. I realized after you pointed it out that it's too big of a gap, so I dropped it to 25%. So for Broc's 33,000 the strongest of them was 22,000 if I recall. That puts him just within range, as 25% weaker than Broc is 24,750.


This should work a bit better for weaker and superior enemies. Sorry about that. I didn't think about long term differences. For Era to face an enemy weaker than herself, they'd have to have a power of 42,000 with my previous calculation, and that's far too low. So yeah, this'll be the new curve. 25%.

I got 35300 when I calculated it, but that might be because I used the full number rather than 33000. With the addition of the broken nose and fight with the enemies, that comes up to 54700 for me.

No. She won't. She'll be far too focused on learning to sense energy and discover the secret of suppressing her power from the Scouter to train herself physically. She will get used to her max power of 84,000 by the end though and have full control of it.

Roger that. But it will take his body at least one full day to reap the benefits, so his power will rise slowly over the next 24 hours or so until it hits that point.

So now the nitty gritty of the piece gets started. Sadly, this new section is incomplete, but it's mostly because I'm having a hard time finding a melody in the brass which really evokes the sense of power that would accompany a SS transformation. The first melody in the new section is something I like and think belongs right where it is, but the repeat with a slight variation that comes right after it... I'm not convinced yet. I'll keep toying with it, but this is how it's shaping so far:

So now that I have posted Korvaiis contacting Era, you may all continue as you will. Korvaiis will eventually contact your characters as well, and instruct them on fuel sources. Each planet will have a different source, so you can create whatever method you like. It's like refueling a car, so mostly liquids or some kind of plant secretions will suffice.

You can if you'd like, but it would be easier if you played him yourselves. He's a tad sarcastic, but overall serious about the final objective so he won't deviate with sarcasm for long. My post between him and Era should give you an idea of what he's like during conversation. One or two jokes, then down to business.

Compared to the rest of the cast, his power level is always going to be fairly low because he suffers from a biological anomaly which disrupts the proper flow and preservation of energy in his system. He'll always be the weakest of the group. But it doesn't make him any less deadly of a fighter.


His knowledge surpasses all of our character's put together, which I will demonstrate once we're all together again.

Good to know. Also, about how far ahead of his power level is he able to fight? Earlier you said somebody would need to have to be within 35% of somebody's PL to be able to win, but if I'm not mistaken that doesn't appear to apply to Korvaiis.

It still applies physically for him. He will pick up on how to beat an opponent long before any of us do, but he won't have the strength to pull it off himself most of the time. Instead, he'll be advising us as we move forward as a group. When stronger enemies come around, he'll be the first to notice their weaknesses and call them out for the rest of us who can take them on.

Not in this RP, no. Realism is paramount (save for the Ki thing).

I have a change for Era's path to Super Saiyan.


During our next major battle (which still won't happen for maybe a few weeks IC), she'll emerge victorious with minor injuries which will increase her power to 148,000. After that, during the following major battle, she'll experience a Near Death Scenario via a small concentrated Ki blast through the upper right chest and a severe beating to follow it up. It will put her out of commission, forcing her to sit out during the following battle while you guys take charge on the field. Once she's fully recovered, she'll have a power level of 3.7 million which will be just in time for the fight with Inecros.


So, for that, I need a willing participant for the battle after our next! Who's willing to let Era take such a blow for them?
