Also, the macros sucks. Haven't had much time to work on it yet.

By the by, if I know Fae as well as I think, Korvaiis' private lecture is going to piss her off. But hopefully she'll find at least a few moment's peace on the return trip to think about what he said. I'd like Fae to have at least a little development and start thinking for herself, but I leave final judgement to you in that regard. Whether she likes him or not, she has to admit that he's better than most of her family members in how he treats her and speaks to her. Hopefully that will count for something. But we'll see. Lol.

She is however set in her ways. She has a lot of life to break through. She has a lot of frustration to get out of her system and overcome. And she doesn't really know what she wants, to be honest. Right now she is thinking for herself. In the sense she is going along with what she knows. And that she isn't just following family orders.


She doesn't like him simply because of a conflict of ideals. Further stress being added onto her from the feeling of being useless and worthless in the present company. Not being listened to or acknowledged hurts her. Whether it is for the best or not. As bad as it would be to just try and placate her by telling her what she wants to hear. As of right now she feels she is without purpose.


It may seem like a lose lose situation, but it isn't that bad. She needs to feel the examples with her own hands and see them through her own eyes. Being closed off makes it difficult to reach her for those who aren't close to her.


I might suggest, another conversation with Korvaiis sometime after the meeting. She might get a little heated but she would be opening up. Which is a good thing. A conversation with Era later would help also in calming her down.

I was thinking about that option with Era. I figured before they left for Metahnn, Era would convince Korvaiis to let everyone rest today and sleep it off. Once the boys fall asleep, she'll ask Fae to go sit with her elsewhere and hear her out and let her vent all she wants to at least start making a small dent in the stress. Not enough to make a serious difference, but enough to at least give her a chance to yell, power up, break something, etc.

Indeed. We'll see what happens, and I have something that could swing either way. I'm eager to see how it plays out. Era's no psychologist even though she's quite empathetic, so she's definitely toying with fire here. But time will tell.


Hopefully it's all right that she presumed Fae would follow her for a change of scenery.

I would think that it would be possible for more than just what we might think of as "attacks" could produce the same effect. As it stands, I can come up with whatever is needed to fill the gap between then and the present.
Also, she has quite a bit of extra defense already. Such a thing I had already been using to explain her naturally high defense, though with it being official I could take it a step further to at least give her something to keep her from being useless. If allowed. However, I can just as easily not go with it you would like to see her keep going as she is.

Since Trig and Sohpileon don't look like they'll be able to continue, I've decided to recruit some new blood. I'm going to put out a player's wanted ad to see if I can convince anyone to join up and get things moving again.

I put in a request for a new "Updates" page. Thanks to @ToryD's suggestion of a dedicated page for keeping track of power levels for ease of access versus searching it out IC or in the character pages, we will keep track of our character's power levels on that page.

@BigCheese I should be getting a post out today. A nice slow Monday. The CEO's came and gone with only a major power outage as an incident. Pressure of work should be relieved significantly now.

@Tulani I can tell you did by reading it. I think you did well.


Lol it was meager at the time of calculation. I was lagging pretty far behind the power curve. I made her an little too sturdy to take a severe beating. That is my story and I'm sticking with it!


I like the green bars. They do well in highlighting the differences of our characters.

@KingHink I like the bars too fogot that ki consumption was reverse so bumped it up. Also I imagine with the way I did it... easily dodged or countered... but whoa when she hits... she hits hard

Fae fights similarly. Lol to a degree. She hits hard but she doesn't just waylay into opponents. She counters, manipulates, and anticipates her opponents move to put them in a position where she can deliver debillitating blows. She doesn't dodge much, instead either blocks or tanks hits to take advantage of her opponents recoil or vulnerable position.


I like the idea of a good all out fighter. I think she will be fun.

yeah basically think relentless fighter that tries to position you where she wants you. Best defense is a good offense right? Cant hit me if I don't give you a breather
