~ Sincerely Ms.Reed

She stood outside the building wait for her very first class to show up. Whether they knew it or not she specifically chose them. Today they would all show up at her door to learn. "I'm gonna be a teacher of these students so I better make sure the school is adequate for them" Ms.Reed said to herself. She waved her hand to add some rooms to the mansion just for the students. "The very first class here... it is exciting to think about" Ms.Reed continued.

Richard walked up the stairs of the school, taking in the fresh air. "The air here is so clean!" He said with a large inhale. Sighing happily, he examined how incredible the scenery was. While the school itself was huge, and the front of the school was elaborate, it was almost as if the place was separated from the outside world. There was fog in the distance, and some morning mist added a cold touch to Richard's skin. Reaching the very front of the door (which was quite massive), he saw a tall woman who held a mysterious aura about her. Despite the slightly chilly morning weather, she looked completely unfazed standing with a slightly revealing dress. Richard held up his invitation for her to see and gave her a toothy grin. "Hi! I'm gonna guess you're Miss Reed?"

"Ahh Mr. Richard you are the first one to arrive quite funny since you have a easy going personality, so you have some time before to others get here so you can get some food from the kitchen" Ms.Reed said.

Elizabeth had been expecting a hideous prison, filled with ruthless guards and deranged children. She knew she probably wouldn't be able to use her powers and would spend quite some time locked up in a grimy cell, the prison was probably better than that. However, she was proven wrong as soon as she saw the grand mansion in the distance. Was this really the school? It couldn't be, it was probably some kind of trick to make sure the place wouldn't be shut down. As she walked up the steps, Elizabeth noticed a boy speaking to a woman in revealing clothing. "Probably some kind of teacher," Elizabeth thought as she finally reached the pair. "Miss Reed? I'm Elizabeth Knight, I believe I was called here?"

"Oh, yeah alright! Don't mind if I do." Noticing the new girl approach the teacher, Richard just gave a small wave and a "Sup," before pushing open the heavy doors to reveal a massive entrance hall. From the pristine floors to the delicate looking chandelier, the place oozed fancy. Giving a long whistle, Richard took a couple of steps inside, noticing the stair case leading up and several hallways that erected from inside of the room. "I might as well just, you know, help myself to these chairs." Richard then proceeded to practically throw himself onto one of the luxurious waiting chairs in the lobby before throwing his feet up on another chair. Richard then gave a long yawn, waiting for the teacher to come inside. 'Pfft, no way am I gonna go looking for a kitchen in a huge place like this. I'll probably be found dead ten years from now or something.' He thought, amused at himself.

"So you I'll leave you two here I have to grab some things before the others get here". Ms.Reed said as she floated away.

Emily wasn't sure what to expect. Broccoli? Boiled chicken? She'd eat it anyway. It had been about two days since she'd eaten and she was ready to go back to the dumpsters. However this place probably had much better food. So she trotted forward, fiddling with the one thing left of her mother. A blue pendant on a silver chain. The only thing she had that wouldn't catch fire.

With a small huff, she walked forward nervously in an attempt to find the teacher.

Noticing the teacher had begun to float away, Richard waved the two girls over to the inside of the main entrance room, where he left the main door open since it was too much of a bother to try and close. "Hey! You two! C'mere for a second." Richard righted himself to try and be a little bit polite to the two. One girl appeared about the same age as he was, although had a much more mature demeanor. The other was significantly younger, but looked worn out and possibly nervous. He could focus his hearing on their heartbeats, noticing the two very different heart rhythms.

Still staying seated Richard waved, "Hey, my names Richard. So we're all going to be in the same school huh?"

Emily gave Richard a small smile, still not meeting anyone's eyes. She wanted to shoot past them and straight into her dorm, but figured she should at least attempt to be polite. Closing her eyes, she began breathing in and out, to attempt to calm her nerves. That didn't work, so she fiddled with the pendant and stared at the ground before remembering the boy had spoken to them. "U-um, yeah... It's probably nice here..." She whispered, tensing up as though she expected the need to fight at any moment.

Richard stooped down to try to look up at the girl who was still looking at the floor. He could sense her being uncomfortable, although he wasn't quite sure why. "Yeah well, you think there would be some kind of map or schedule sheet or something. I'm totally lost on where everything's at, and this place is huge!" Richard leaned back in his seat, pulling out the invitation that was sent for him. There was nothing exceptional about it, other than the archaic message and mysterious writing. Suddenly he decided to stand up and stretch out. "So... she said something about a kitchen. You guys wanna come and try to find it?"

Emily froze and began stuttering random vowels. This boy seemed like he could see everything about her. Even the bits she had buried. It honestly freaked her out, so she took a step back and turned her head away. Sure, she wanted to learn how to be social, but it was a bit soon. If she got too attached, well, you never know what might happen. After a minute of calculation, Emily gave a small nod and smile. She might as well try and be social.

With a brief thumbs up and a nod, Richard began walking past the staircase and looked down a brightly lit hall, all marble and still aglow with smaller chandeliers. "It makes sense if the kitchen is on the first floor right? Let's go down one of these hallways." The interior of the mansion was quite different from the cool fresh air of outside, as the temperature was warm and welcoming, smelling slightly of lavender.

Despite the large exterior it didn't take too long to discover the kitchen. The place in question was quite large and updated with the newest appliances. It seemed almost like a chef's kitchen, in which it had every piece of equipment and food ingredient available. With a few sniffs Richard grinned as he walked over to one of the many pantries and opened it to reveal different preserved fruits. "I guess we just help ourselves then?"

Emily had remained silent the entire time. Somehow she even managed to keep her steps silent, but seeing the food her eyes lite up and she dashed over. "Is this all real?!" She cried as she began grabbing anything she could hold. Until she tried to pick up a bag of flour. That certainly didn't end well. Emily fell the ground along with everything in her arms. The flour practically exploded into the air, covering anything near it. Mainly Emily and the floor, however half the room was engulfed in the mess. The girl slowly sat up and looked around, coughing up some of the powder. "O-oops..."

"I see you found the kitchen kiddos" Ms.Reed said and she floated into the room "an you made a mess, don't worry it's ok" Ms.Reed added. She swirled her finger warping the room making all the flour rise up an go back into the bag.

Chuck enter the vast building. "Uh? Hello? Anybody?" Chuck walked around the main building and sat down on a chair. He got a stone and used his powers on it. Chuck turns the rock into a light green crayon, a paperclip and back into a rock.

Emily looked down guiltily, fiddling with her thumbs before muttering, "S-sorry Ma'am..." Then she promptly went back to silent stone dagger mode.

"Aww you're forgiven since you're oh so adorable, you look super cute I can't wait to teach you little marshmallow" Ms.Reed cooed as she got really close to Emily.

Nyo stepped off the bus, adjusting the strap over his shoulder as he heard the vehicle roar behind him as it drove away. Taking a deep breath, Nyo started towards the big house that looked only slightly haunted, hoping that he was in the right place. The mansion loomed in front of him as he walked down the drive, faint footsteps the only clue that he wasn't completely alone out here. No one was outside, so he pushed open the door and peaked inside just in time to hear someone calling out. He sighed in relief that he wasn't alone even though he knew that he wasn't before.

"Uh, hey!" He called back, stepping inside and looking around. It did seem nicer on the inside; less haunted and deadly than the grey, overgrown outside.

Emily flinched, leaning slightly away. Physical contact always ended in flames. Flames are not good. So instead of panicking, she asked "A-am I really like a marshmallow? I mean I don't eat much so-" She cut herself off, believing that was far too much said.

"We have another student here now I gonna go greet him, make another mess if you want to but you are gonna clean it up" Ms.Reed said before walking into a glow blue circle from out of nowhere. Popping out from the other side she saw a kid with bright blue eyes that stood out from the rest of his body. "Hello Nyo I'm Ms.Reed" the woman yelled at the poor teen.

Quinn was dropped off by his older brother and mother at the school. He gave both of them hugs goodbye before waving them off as they drove back down the long driveway. Sighing Quinn turned back around and looked at the front entrance to this mansion. 'Holy Mother of...Wow. This is huge.' Stuffing his hands in the pockets of his skeleton sweatshirt he made his way up the steps and into the building. 'This whole place is freaking huge.' He quietly explored the first floor, every now and then stopping to look at the ceiling or the decor of the rooms. The Dining Hall was massive and it fascinated him that there looked to be an upside tree with lights. He tilted his head moving closer, swaying from the back of his heels to his toes before standing still and looking up at it. Silence. This place seemed quiet and serene, which suited him fine. 'Room 101...hmmm wonder if that would be upstairs. ... Actually where's the kitchen? I'm starving.' Quinn turned on his heels and casually made his way to the kitchen which wasn't to far from the dining hall. When he opened the door to the kitchen though he saw some students. He smiled a little at the students and nodded to each one before turning on his heel and walking back out of the kitchen. He didn't want to be rude and just eat something before dinner, especially if dinner was almost ready.

Being Deaf was gonna be a challenge but he could read lips if he needed to. Preferably he would like the other students to write to him, but that was time consuming, so he would just read lips or if any of them knew how to sign that would also be great if not then no worries. He wondered if these students were like him, but he didn't sense any poison from them, so perhaps they were all different including the different powers. It was nice however, to know that there were other kids his age that had powers as well.

Nyo stepped back and shouted in alarm before shoving his fist in his mouth to shut himself up. He looked up and down the ethereal woman in front of him while trying to calm down. It was just a teacher probably. He nodded slowly, trying to think of an appropriate response.

"Um, hello there." He replied quickly, possible speaking too fast. He wasn't as loud as Ms. Reed had been but he felt like he'd been just as obnoxious. "So, you're the teacher... Has anyone else arrived?" He asked, purposefully measuring out the pace of his voice so he didn't just blurt it out like he did before.
