Fantasy Mrs. Evans' School for the Gifted

He smiled and finished the sentence for her "Martinez. Alex Martinez." He looked to the woman. She was rather forgetful for a teacher. Either way that didnt matter. It was someone to talk to and so he remained next to her. "So Ms. Briar what brought you to our lively school?"

@Enmyira

"A job Mr. Martinez. I am the new counselor." She gave a dramatic eyeroll at her job title.

"Yes but we know everyone who comes here has some alternative reason to come here." He said with a smile before he then changed the subject "You like music?"

@Enmyira

Her eyebrows rose for a few seconds. That was certinly interesting. She'd have to remember to make note of this later.

"Oh, I don't know a sole alive who doesn't! Music is wonderful."

He chuckled at her response "Play any instruments? Or are you a singer?" He asked as he sat up. The woman interested him.

@Enmyira

Her eyes slightly narrowed for a fraction of a second before she shook her head with a smile and looked up at the sky. "No, neither. I'm not much of a musical person. You on the other hand, are. You should consider playing for your classmates sometime."

He laughed at the thought "Me? Playing for the school? Oh please I'm not that good." He smiled as to her blushin slightly "Any of the choir kids could perform better than me." He said although it was more than likely a lie. He was quite the talented singer

She rolled her eyes. "Oh please, you could probably make  a band with the choir kids. Hold a little concert of your own." She suggested.

 Azalea Silver

Azalea worked out a plan in her mind as she paced in the school courtyard, the beautiful flowers and large willow tree did nothing to calm her. Garrett was playing Cat. She'd have to get rid of him before the dance. Azalea checked her phone.

4:57 PM

Azalea pursed her lips. Only two and a half hours until Sorren dropped by the dorm to pick her up. Now she had to figure out what would attract a vampire. She knew exactly what, it was a risk, but she'd have to take it. Azalea turned around and grabbed a rather pointed stick, she snapped it off the tree, and dug the pointed end into the palm of her hand, drawing blood. Garrett had lack of control of his bloodlust, he'd smell her from a mile away.

She turned her hand downward, allowing a couple drops to drip unto the green grass. No more then five minutes later, Garrett strided out of the building, his eyes pulsing red. His giant form rushed at her in a flash, Azalea clutched the stick tightly in her hand, and drove it right into his lower chest.

Garrett cried out, bending over and falling to his knees, his face twisted in pain  and attempting to yank the stick out of his chest, however, Azalea kneeled, shoving it further into his chest, wedging it deeply in his chest. Garrett was stuck. And trapped.

Azalea kneeled, her eyes boring into Garrett's with a smile on her lips.

"Garrett."

"Ugh..Azalea-what-what the hell...why are you....?" Garrett mumbled confused.

Azalea laughed, throwing up her arms, she stood and paced, angry.  "I don't know Garrett! Why am I doing this? " Azalea looked at Garrett, how looked at her with confused eyes, his face scrunched in pain.

"W-what? I don't know-"

"Cat huh? Great gal!" Azalea barreled on, smiling at Garrett mischievously.

"Oh...look. Okay-okay! I was gonna tell Cat about her but she's a witch and your a whisper and..." Garrett trailed off as Azalea kneeled in front of him.

"You're cheating on her." Azalea stated emotionlessly. Garrett cringed, realizing Azalea had not known and realizing his mistake.

"Yes." Garrett peeped in a high pitched tone, shrinking away.

"Look, I don't have a lot of time for this, I've got a date that I reaaaallly don't want to screw up. So I'm gonna cut this short okay?" Azalea stated, her tone saying it wasn't up for debate. It was true though. It wouldn't be long before other supernaturals smelled her own blood. Especially Sorren. She didn't want to attract Sorren again, not until the dance. They'd already had more then enough encounters.

"You could compelled Cat. Why?"

The moment she asked the question, everything changed. Garrett's charade dropped, the fear on his face replaced with something darker, he glared at her through blood red eyes with murderous intent, Garrett threw back his head and laughed.

"You Whispers. Smart. Well, it's so easy to get to little Cat. So naive. Oblivious. I knew you wouldn't fall into any games with me. And now that your toying with the hybrid..." Garrett shook his head, grinning. "That would've played out nasty."

Azalea eyes narrowed into slits. She harshly grabbed his chin and raised it, making him look into her eyes. "Why are you playing Cat?"

Garrett chuckled. "Because it's fun."

Azalea shook her head, irritated, she grabbed the stick and shoved it further in his chest. Garrett cried out. Azalea glanced around. Most of the school was empty, in there dorms, considering classes was over. Azalea turned back to Garrett, her eyes turning jet black as she invaded his mind.

She wasn't looking for a past this time, just up until Garrett started playing them. Garrett squirmed, feeling her in his mind, seeing memories resurface. Garrett had been playing them all along. He was not innocent and stupid, the way he pretended to be. He was smart, dark, and calculating. He was with Keeper. This was his doing. Garrett had been with Keeper from the start. Before Keeper even arrived. Garrett was the one who threw the rock and tried to kill Sorren, and Cat was a way to keep a close eye on Sorren and Azalea. Azalea left his mind and stared at him, shame and anger in her eyes.

How couldn't she had seen it?

Garrett was grinning with an animalistic smile, and she figured out why. She felt the trickle of blood run down her nose, and she quickly wiped it away. She was over exhausting herself. Garrett began to laugh.

"I'll see you at the dance, sweetheart." Garrett said between laughs. Azalea couldn't kill him, not on school grounds where to many prying eyes could see.

Instead, Azalea sent her foot connecting with his jaw, kicking him with such a force he flew back, his head connecting with the tree behind him, knocking him into unconsciousness. But it wouldn't last long.

Azalea turned and began to quickly make her way back for her dorm. She'd have to get ready after all, things like that took time. Azalea stumbled a bit, weak. Maybe she'd take a short nap to recover a bit before getting ready, she still had a good amount of time. And although she'd never admit it. She wanted to look good for Sorren.

~Sorren Latrent~

The sofa had occupied Sorren for the last hour, he sat with his legs across the length of the seat and rested one arm behind his head and the other on the armrest of the sofa. He had sat half watching a random TV program and half lost in thought; Sorren's visit to The Crone was only the beginning. Now, Sorren had to put Akira and Kalin into play, the next part of his plan was crucial and couldn't be done without them. That is, unless Sorren wanted an incredibly tedious task ahead of himself.

Those thoughts were for another time, however, Sorren had a dance to get ready for. The bet made between him and Azalea only played the slightest of parts in his motivation for going to the dance, Azalea drew Sorren towards her like a fly to a bright light, he hadn't gone a moment without at least the thought of her in the back of his head. The hybrid stretched as he rose from the couch, it was now 6:30, an hour and a half until the dance officially started.

Normally, Sorren took a fair amount of time to get ready but for such an occasion it would take him slightly longer; he didn't fall into the stereotypical view that males are slobs and don't care about how they look. Still, just over an hour should be sufficient enough time to have a quick wash, brush his teeth again, trim his stubble, check over his hair, get changed, the usual stuff. And leave him enough time to get to Azalea's dorm room.

Time seemed to flash by as Sorren went through his routine, taking extra care to make sure every action and alteration he made met his elevated standards. He adjusted the cufflinks on his tuxedo as he looked in his full length mirror, he grinned to himself, happy with his preparation. This will do. He thought before leaning on the back of his couch, it was right about now that Kalin was due to burst through the door.

Calling it correctly (well he heard his thundering steps coming down the hall), Kalin swung the door open and stepped inside like it was his own room. "Looking good my man", he uttered while nodding his head approvingly. Kalin himself looked dressed to impress, wearing a navy blue tuxedo that was rimmed with a black material on the blazer. The only reason Akira wasn't here was because she was still getting ready and had her own date picking her up, an auburn-haired senior with legs that didn't seem to end; Kalin had looked depressed for about a week when he found out Akira was gay, although he still tries to hit on her anyway, receiving an assortment of insults from Akira in response.

"I swear you owe me about 24 favours", Kalin said as he revealed a bouquet of white and red roses tied with a black ribbon from behind his back. Sorren had asked him to fetch him some flowers despite sitting and doing practically nothing for an hour, but he didn't need to know that. He wanted to give Azalea something 'date-y', the front he was using was that he was just doing it as a joke but in actuality he wanted a subtle way of saying: 'You're always on my mind'.

Sorren took the bouquet from his friends hands and forced a cough, "Thanks", he mumbled before checking in the mirror once more. "I'll see you at the dance". Sorren smiled weakly at Kalin as he turned ushered him out of his dorm as he also left, locked the door, and headed towards the girl's dormitory. He took deep breathes as he walked, just a tiny bit nervous about what was to come. His ascent up the stairs of the girls dormitory and in the direction of Azalea's room felt like it lasted an eternity, he took one more cycle of inhaling and exhaling when he reached the door and then knocked. A loud but short sequence of knocks. Sorren held the flowers in his left hand, holding them so they were ready for Azalea to either accept or decline, and he leaned nonchalantly against the doorframe with a smirk.

@Ms. Sparrow

((Just pretend that in my other post I said he was picking her up at 7:45 and not 6:45 xD Oh, and sorry if I'm skipping time a lot it's just there is really nothing for our characters to do if I don't other than play out their own plots.))

Azalea Silver

Azalea arrived back at, thankfully a clean dorm. Cat stepped out of the bathroom looking annoyed as Azalea ignored her and plopped unto her bed, exhausted of the days activities. She could faintly hear Cat scolding her on the window damage, and asking on what happened. But it was so faint... Azalea was fast asleep in an instant, not even getting the chance to get under the blankets.

Azalea awoke to the sweet song of Raisa yelling in her ear and shaking her awake. Azalea groaned, attempting to swat her away while rolling over, wanting more sleep, still half asleep, barely catching any words from Raisa.

"..Cat..."

"to prepare..."

..dance.."

"Gah!"Azalea flew off the bed and on the floor. That certainly woke her. She'd completely forgotten about the dance. Raisa laughed, just then Cat entered and snickered, seeing Azalea's sleepy eyes, quickly getting off the floor.

Cat wore a bright, shiny red dress that slightly dragged on the ground with no straps. She was already ready. She had to be after all, it was her job to make the sure the dance was perfect, Cat, along with a few choice others had been in charge of arranging the dance.

Azalea rushed to the bathroom, and like always, she had to make sure she looked good. It was 6:15, and she made sure to perfect her looks, Raisa had left by then, leaving with her own date. Cat waited. She'd told Garrett to pick her up when Sorren picked Azalea up.

Azalea took longer then usual to get ready, wanting to leave nothing to flaw. When she finally exited the bathroom, Cat looked her up and down with a devilish smirk, her eyebrows arched.

"Well well well," Cat began mischievously. "Don't you look nice." Azalea flipped her off, but found herself grinning as well.

Garrett confidently strided down the hall, holding some cheep pink Lily's that looked like they'd been sloppily acquainted, although Garrett himself looked dashing, his ice blue eyes and black hair contrasting deeply with his pale skin. Garrett halted at seeing Sorren at the door, before hesitantly sliding next to him, retaining his usual innocent facade.

"Sorren." Garrett said stiffly, waiting at the door next to him, slightly behind him. Holding the cheap lilac's closer to him, uncomfortably shifting.

Just then, Cat opened the door the door a crack smiling brightly at seeing Garrett. Her eyes flicked to the lilacs, then Sorren's roses, a flicker of perhaps disappointment and amusement in her eyes.

Cat grinned, foolishly in love with him. "Hi Garrett." She looked at Sorren and grinned mischievously.  Garrett scowled behind Sorren.

Azalea came from behind Cat, already knowing who it was. Her heart beat a couple paces faster as she opened to door all the way, taking in the sight of the pair. Her heart stopped.

Sorren looked well...dashing to put it lightly. She felt like the air had been knocked out of her as she stared at him, but in a good way, while Azalea blinked and stared, Cat took the flowers from Garrett, telling him to wait while she put in in a vase, walking into the bathroom and quietly throwing them in the garbage.

Azalea leaned against the doorframe Sorren leaned against, smirking her trademark, seductive/amused smirk. "Mm, don't you look dashing." Azalea commented with a purr, noticeably looking him up and down, taking the roses from him in the process.

Azalea was impressed, truthfully she loved roses, they were her favorite of all flowers, and Azalea couldn't suppress a smile taking place on her face as she looked at them. Azalea looked back up at, just realizing Garrett was there, her smile faded.

Garrett winked at Azalea from behind Sorren, blowing her a kiss with his hand. Garrett called out to Cat, who was still in the bathroom. "You look beautiful!" He stammered, maintaind the lovesick baby he could play so well.

Damn he was good.

Azalea grabbed an empty vase off the end table at her bed, which had a long since dead rose in it, which looked as if it could disintegrate at the touch. She threw the old rose in the bathroom garbage, filled the vase with water and put Sorren's roses in them. Staring at them for a moment, taking in the beauty. She strided back to the door, Cat following closely behind her.

Cat walked out first so Azalea could lock it. As Azalea walked out she 'accidentally' trotted hard on Garrett's foot, and Garrett let out a frustrated hiss of breath, trying to pretend to not notice as he took Cat's hand, who beamed brightly, blushing. With the door now closed, and locked, as Azalea made sure, they were now ready to leave. Azalea still smirking amused as Garrett silently glared at the back of Azalea's head.

((Are you guys starting the dance already?))

She rolled her eyes. "Oh please, you could probably make  a band with the choir kids. Hold a little concert of your own." She suggested.

Alex laughed as he leaned back. He shook his head "I dont really think I'm that good. But thank you. It makes me happy that someone enjoys my singing." He smiled to her looking up at the sky "Beautiful day to play in the game." He said referring to the major football game that was to be played before the dance.

She frowned. "Game?" She asked. She wasn't aware of any activities going on..

"No I haven't.. things have been busy. Oh well. I guess the staff forgot to mention it." She shrugged it off.

He laughed as he sat back "Yeah, big day for all of us. I'm just not sure how well its gonna go, doesnt help when one of the captains can barely move his body." He chuckled as he stretched his arms grunting.

"Did something happen?" She asked. A frown sat on her lips while she wondered if she should go see if the nurses or infirmary staff needed help.

"Hehe, guess you could say I got a little hot-headed." He chuckled "I accidentally shifted forms, no big deal, just need my body to repair after growing so large." He smiled to her charmingly, his canines were sharper than a normal persons and slightly larger. As if they were meant for tearing more than just food apart.

"Oh you're the captain? Well. I suggest you should be more careful." She smiled and sat back to enjoy the sun.

He laughed as he nodded "One of them, there's three of us, one for the D-line 2 for the O-line." He smiled to her and he laid back enjoying the sun, it seemed to shine off his tan skin and his eyes seemed to absorb the beauty of the daylight and he sighed "Beautiful day..."

"What game is this? American Football?"

"Yes, the European football game was last week." He said apologetically "It was a great game, we almost lost too, I read one play wrong and let a goal in, if it wasnt for our strikers we wouldnt have made the two goals in the second half to secure the win."
