Fantasy MoonSpell Academy For Supernaturals (Open!)

Ein looked at May and said, "Your right... It would be hard to make this situation work, and considering Laurence's situation it could get worse. We'll have to think of something," he turned to Laurence. "I can't just leave you like that, but with me pretty much with knowledge of control of magic... Hmm," he thought about it for a moment. "I know how about I teach you guys how to control magic?" He asked to all of them.

"I can probably set a barrier and range it to only block out Gene, without being noticeable by anyone else. Also, help?" I'd keep trying to get the arrow out wincing.

"I can use magic alright... But it has always been more of a natural thing to me.. It would help if you were to teach me though"

May looks over at Lawrence as he's messing with the arrow in his arm. She cringes. "W-well... if Gene thinks we're trying to help Lawrence, then we could all be..... targets." May sighs. "It might be better to stick together..... at least for a while."

Ein helped take out the arrow from Laurence's arms and looked to May. "Your right... we could be potential targets, and I realize that risk. The best I can do is teach you guys to help learn magic and your aura. Also yes it would be better to stick together until we find a solution." There was a look of caution to his face, and he wasn't sure whether or not everything will go smoothly. "In any case, it's best to start learning now. You guys ready to learn?" He asked like a teacher.

May fidgets, now a bit too nervous to focus, though if Ein was going to start from the beginning, she had already had that lesson with him before. "I'm listening," she says as she pulls out her sketchbook and pencils. She'd doodle on a new sheet of paper, it helped her calm down. She really was listening, even if it didn't seem like she was.

Ein would explain to Trust and Laurence about Mana, Aura, and Flow. The same way he pretty much told May.

"Mana, or whatever people call it, is akin to life energy. Some would argue it is a part of our life energy. It's used for the basis of all magic. Increasing ones total mana requires extensive practice and application repeatedly. Aura is the use of our life energy into something that protects us. It can be classified as the manipulation of energy, and how we use it is all on us. Finally there is flow, which is the theory of energy control. Just as blood moves through our bloodstreams, energy also moves through us. To create a harmonious synergetic balance allows us to emit a much stronger life energy. The mastery over all three is key to becoming one of the strongest. Those are the basics that I have learned through reading as a child," Ein said with a face befitting that of a mentor. This knowledge was accumulated through studying and reading. To improve himself, he would also have to master the three principles." - First reference point.

"You see everyone is born with a certain amount and potential for mana. Even those who are not proficient in magic have mana to a certain extent. Take for instance runners and chess players. Two very opposite fields, but at the same time similar. They have mastered and trained in order to stand at the top. People similar to that actually have quite the amount of mana," he said hoping not to confuse her.

"Mana is inherent within us, and one must think of it as a part of our body first. It can be akin to muscle in a way. Each person is unique, and so what one person does to increase their mana is different for another. There is no right or wrong way to approach it. Even something as simple as reading can increase aura because of the fact that one is gaining knowledge. Everyone has their way, and if the school were to teach us this, then they would most likely tell us to find our own way. Also the teachers don't actually expect us to know mana. Even the strongest of makes and fighters don't bother to understand mana." - Second reference point.

We good so far? He said to all of them.

I had tuned him out, a dark energy emitting form my palm and encasing the doorway and walls.

"Mhmm" i say, as i twirl my hair "mana is for magic, and needs alot of tough training to improve, used for offensive stuff, aura is the same but is used for defensive, right?"

May doesn't look up from her drawing. In all honesty, she's still a bit tense, especially with so many people around, but she's trying to be nice about it. She'd nod towards Ein as he comments, signaling that she remembers what he had told her before.

He turned to Priscilla and said, "In a way, yes. Aura is used to protect us. See mana is used to produce our aura, which we can use in a lot of ways using flow. In a way Aura is basically used for both situations really," he said with a smile. Ein then went on to explain the six known fields of magic: Enhancement, Emission, Transmutation, Manipulation, Conjuration, and Specialization. (Hunter X Hunter inspiration is obvious)

""I have already told you the three principles, and now I'll teach you about the kinds of magic as well as aura types," he took the pencil in his left hand and began writing a chart. "The first kind is enhancement magic, which is one of the most basic types. To strengthen is its raw purpose. Out of all the types it is the easiest to grasp, but it does not make it the weakest either," he told May after writing down destruction magic and what it does. After that is Conjuration which focuses on summoning all sorts of things. Next is Transmutation which is about changing the properties of all things. Manipulation is control of all things as well as changing perception (I.E illusion). Emission is the deployment of energy, mana, aura. These are the five types of magics," he waited to see if May had questions." - Reference point.

"And finally there is Specialization which is basically anything not within the other five like divination." He finally finished. "Any questions so far?"

"Finished!"

"Ah.. I see. That's pretty clever," he said to Laurence. "In any case I suppose you weren't able to hear my lecture, so I'll explain it to you." Ein then proceeded to explain it to Laurence the same way he did earlier. (Previous post I made as reference)

He nodded, understanding. "Also, can I sleep now?"

May looks up from her drawing "It's not hard to understand. It's the practice I have no experience with." She looks over to Lawrence at the mention of a barrier. She seemed to relax just a little, and gave him a smile. "Th-thanks." She'd nod to his question, then looking to Ein. "Speaking of sleeping.... this room only has two beds," as if she needed to point out the obvious.

"I can sleep on the floor, it's not a big deal." I gave a soft smile.

"I like the cold anyway..." I concentrate for a while before a small, flat bed of ice appears in the corner of the room, i lie down on it. "G-goodnight all..."

May nods, glad that was resolved quickly. "Maybe tomorrow we can see if we can move more beds in here," she suggests, since sleeping on the floor would get annoying after a while. She glances over to Priscilla's ice bed, and raises an eyebrow. "Umm... okay." She'd eventually shrug and go back to her drawing, not exactly tired yet, but not wanting to disturb anyone who was.

Ein responds with a "Good night" to both Laurence and Priscilla. He thought about the whole solution, while it was dangerous that they could be targeted, he was glad to have more roommates. He turned to May and asked, "May, would you like to learn your specialization now?" He asked wondering if she would.
