Stopping outside the door, he used the tip to undo the screws, opening it and jumping onto Gene who yelled out. Putting the knife against his neck, Laurence slammed his head to the ground. "I saw what you did. You sick twisted kid. And I'm the demon?!" His voice would crack as he held Gene down. "Why. Did you do this?!" Gene gave a smirk, "I promised not to hurt you. I said nothing about your family." He'd vanish into smoke, leaving a broken Laurence.

Cadence ran after them towards Gene's room. Once there she saw the strain in Laurence's voice as he yelled at gene. She grew angry looking at the twisted grin of Gene.


"How dare you, you.. Sick.." She growled about to lunge at him, wanting to grip his neck with her cursed hands.

*Pawool walked to the sound of yelling. He looked at them in question, but too scared to speak*

Lucian stood into the room in silence,no expression upon his face.

He considered his options,wandering if Gene disappearing suddenly would be suspicious.

Cadence screamed in frustration and anger and went back to the kitchen putting the spaghetti on the counter and poured some bowls, talking to herself.

*Pawool dropped Noctis's child photo by Lucians feet. He kneeled down and picked it up. Once again the diamond in a hole on the back of his neck showed*

Lucian looked down as Pawool dropped the picture,noticing for the first time the diamond of the back of the boy's neck.


"Pawool? Does the diamond in your neck have any special meaning?"

"Diamond?" *he didnt know about it since he always had a collar on*

Lucian lowered his body to the boy's height,placing one finger gently over the diamond.

*the diamond zapped his finger, but it didnt hurt. The color changed to orange and Pawools appearance changed. Pawool blinked at the picture, wondering why he could only see out of one eye*

Lucian pulled his finger back by reflex once he felt the zap,noticing the change in Pawool's form with a light frown.


"Interesting. Your form changed when I touched the diamond. Do you feel different,Pawool? Do you feel more powerful?"


Power of any forms always made Lucian interested.

*Pawool sniffed and looked at his tail. The end of it was a ball of fire instead of fur. He also had claw like fingernails that were really sharp. Pawool took off the mask and let out a breath that came out as smoke* "i feel.....same......but strange"

"I'm sensing that this is still your body,but differently powered." He hesitated for a second. "Pawool,I have to ask you to either shift back or go outside to test your new powers. We don't know how powerful you are yet. Could be dangerous."

Lucian approached him,feeling the power spikes. He glanced back at the diamond that had changed colours.


"All right. Let's try to do the same thing we did before. I'm going to touch your diamond again. Stay still."


He walked forward and touched the jewel.

Cadence had put the spaghetti in the microwave in case if anyone wanted it they could reheat it, she was too tired that she fell on the kitchen floor, asleep.

*The diamond zapped him, the Diamond turning half Cyan and half Orange. His appearance changed and you could tell he acquired both powers*

"Now you seen to be some sort of Hybrid. Interesting." Lucian walked around Pawool,checking the new form and unconsciously detecting strengths and weaknesses in it. "This form could be your most powerful one. Or the hardest to control. I guess we will find out one day."


He touched the diamond again,hoping that it could bring the boy back to his original form.


"I need to go check on Cadence,Mr.Pawool.We will return to this conversation soon. Try not to use much of your powers without someone to supervise. You should probably get some rest."


He walked out of the room and towards the kitchen,where he found Cadence down on the floor. He sensed her exhaustion and picked her up gently.


"Time for you to get some rest as well,Cadence."


Lucian walked back to her form and pushed the door open with his foot,placing Cadence gently in the bed. He closed the door as he left.

*It in fact didnt turn hi back. There was one form he hadnt changed into. He noticed he was larger than normal, and he felt like there was power pouring out of himself. Pawool looked at his hands and they werent even tan anymore. THIS was his alien form*
