Cadence pulled the other door and gasped at what she saw. A large room, almost like a gym, had thousands and thousands of seats spiraling upwards like a Colosseum audience view in stage. "This is an arena!" She grinned and looked at Shay. "We could fight using our abilities?" Cadence was tempted at fighting with her abilities, but bit her lip remembering that after today, her harmful curse would come back. She felt a tinge of sadness that Lucian may not succeed with her training on controlling. @Ldybug123 @KaalysBR

"Haha yeah I guess so!" Shay said somewhat excitedly to Cadence. @MissJessiRaven

"What are you getting excited for, I suppose you know how to fight?" Cadence raised an eyebrow, challenging him with a smirk. @Ldybug123

"Well...kind of..." Shay reluctantly admitted to Cadence, smirking back at her. @MissJessiRaven

 

[MissJessiRaven]

"Well, if you were offered to have a battle, using our abilities, would you accept? Today I can heal and physically fight you.." Cadence asked with a tinge of excitement in her voice. It has been a year and a half since she had fought, other than using a punching bag and weights, she never fought with someone in a long time. "I may be a bit rusty.."

 

[Trust]

Sensing a battle, i round the corner and sit down quietly, hoping not to be noticed while unsuccessfully trying to calm down the freezing winds around me

Cadence shivers assuming there was a door opened to the outside in the hall or the AC unit was being wacky. "How bout it, Shay? Do you want to break another rule..?"

"Well...I guess I like breaking rules...which one are we talking about?" Shay asked Cadence curiously, a mischevious smirk on his face. @MissJessiRaven

Lucian entered the room quietly,not attracting much attention to himself as he leaned against the wall in the back of the arena. It was showcasing day,and he was mostly there to make sure that no student would be permanently harmed.


At least,that was the official reason.


The truth was different. Lucian wanted to see which of the students would show enough promise with their powers to caught his interest. Whether it was for their pure force or ability...it didn't matter much. He had a good eye for talents.

Cadence grinned bobbed her eyebrows up and down with a smirk on her face, "Well, I thought we could have a little fun tonight.." She said jokingly. "Kidding, kidding, I am asking for a fight. If you haven't noticed, I like to joke on some good days." She grinned.

"Alright, sure." Shay said to Cadence, chuckling slightly. "Should we fight now?" He asked her curiously, his tail flicking back and forth. @MissJessiRaven

"Hm.. Why not?" Cadence grinned and went to the center of the arena, "You go first, I'm not into the 'Lady's go first' ordeal. I'm not that great starting out the fights.." She peered around and spotted the new girl at one end of the arena and then Lucian towards the back, by the door. "Oh shit.. I pray that I'm not in trouble or lose his trust.." She whispered to herself but looked at Shay with a smile.

"Neither am I but...I'll give it a shot...powers or no powers?" Shay asked Cadence curiously. @MissJessiRaven

 

[MissJessiRaven]

"Powers. I may be a bit useless with mine, but I will try to do both no powers and powers, you go ahead and use yours though." Cadence reassured Shay that it was okay to use his abilities. "This is a Gifted school, anyway."

 

[Trust]

I stare at the two for a while before notice the man standing on the other side of the arena, i give him a small wave @KaalysBR

"Ok then...if you're sure..." Shay said, smirking a bit. Lucian noticed an student waving at him and replied with a wave of his own,making a mental note to learn more about her as soon as possible. As a teacher,he preferred to know all he could about the students. He approached the girl and sat by her side.


"I don't believe we have met before. I'm Lucian,the History and Fencing teacher."

Cadence smiles a bit impressed with his shifting abilities. "Great job, now," She gets in a basic combat stance. "You go ahead and attack me." She looked at Shay with determination. Only this determination wasn't that strong, she yearned to be determined with her curse instead of a battle.

A cold wind blows around me in nervousness. "H-hi i am Pr-Priscilla.."

Lucian noticed the swift change in the temperature and raised one eyebrow inquisitively,a smile appearing in his face.


"Interesting. Weather powers. It's good to meet you,Priscilla."

Kiara finally woke up it at's been awhile since she slept. Suddenly she heard noises. she left her room and followed the sounds. she entered to room to see 2 people fighting

Shay hesitated, not wanting to hurt her and draw blood. He charged at her, figuring he could attack her in other ways. He swiped a paw at her legs, hoping to make her fall. @MissJessiRaven

"Just one more test," Vincent promised himself, carefully measuring out the appropriate volume of chemical. He had hardly been able to sleep all night, besides a couple of hours when he had dozed off. As such, he didn't realize what time it was until the bell had rung. Cursing lowly to himself, the young man hurried to finish the quick chemical reaction. His arms felt numb, probably from the blood loss after several cell tests. Unfortunately, work had been slow and mostly fruitless. The few times he had discovered something, however, were priceless.


Quickly saving his findings onto his laptop, Vincent rushed back to his dorm to shower and change. It was only then that he realized how hungry he was. He had to find some breakfast before he met with Cadence.
