Lance smiled in relief, glad he hadn't bothered Akira with his affections. He offered him his hand after he locked the door to the apartment. He had every intention of going grocery shopping, and was on his way with Akira at his side. However, his phone kept chiming with texts from his boss at the library. Apparently he needed to see her right now for something very important. Lance rolled his eyes, she could be... difficult, sometimes. Don't get him wrong, she was the closest he had to family and he loved her as such. He was really hesitant to bring Akira around her, who knew what she would do. But he couldn't refuse her either. What if it was serious this time? He sighed at his phone as he signed to Akira. "Do you mind if we stopped at the library for a minute? It shouldn't be long, apparently my boss needs me to stop by for something."

Akira took Lance's hand before responding "Alright." He wondered why Lance was rolling his eyes. Akira had never really been partial to libraries, the one at his old town was incredibly dusty and the librarian was unusually cruel. He always had sneezing fits whenever he got there, and it didn't help that she screamed at him whenever he did. It was never a pleasant experience was the gist. Akira didn't even have much use for books either, he used his laptop to google most things he needed. Though he was curious to meet Lance's boss, Akira couldn't help but wonder if that would be a little awkward. They were Lance's boss after all, and they seemed to need him for something. Oh well, what was the worst that could happen?

"I want to warn you, she can be a little... over the top. She... helped me get out of my parents place, and she's important to me so I want you to meet anyway but she might be... a little excitable. She means well, I promise." Lance weaved with a bit of hesitance. He didn't want to scare Akira off, but he was going to have to meet her sooner or later, it might as well be now. He just hoped this wouldn't be a waste of his time with Akira. He cherished every minute he got, he didn't want to spend it at work.

Akira was curious by what Lance meant by 'over the top'. Did that mean she was crazy or just eccentric? What kind of 'over the top' was Lance talking about? He furthered it by adding 'excitable' but that wasn't exactly the best descriptor either. She certainly couldn't have been a bad person for getting Lance away from those terrible, awful, horrible, disgusting people who didn't deserve to be called his 'parents', but Akira was going to reserve his judgement for when he actually met her. Instead he was just going to hope for the best, given that she was such an important person to Lance he'd probably be unable to escape seeing her. Akira valued Lance too much to let his own spite get between them. Akira simply nodded in acknowledgement to Lance.

Vivienne nodded letting her know that indeed she had made her favorite soup. "yes dear you have to take the medicine,...I do know it tastes horrible but it will help you get better. ITS for your fever and cough..." she replied placing the medicine in a spoon and holding it out to her to take it. "you can wash it down with juice and the soup to take away the nasty taste" she added standing up to get a movie and set it up so they could watch a movie together. Michelle just looked at her as she was pouting as she sit up seeing her mother pouring the medicine just for her" yuck" she say as she saw the medicine on the spoon she gulped" but..... Momma I don't wanna take that nasty medicine" she say seeing the look she got scared as she took the deadly medicine she always hated the medicine she forced whatever medicine she has to take is deadly for her she had hard time swallowing the medicine as she wouldn't swallow cause how bitter it tasted' I won't swallow I won't it taste so nasty I feel like I'm dying' she thought looking at the soup she just had tears as she swallow" yuck so disgusting " she say showing her mom she swallow it" can I eat now momma" she say as she still had the taste of the medicine in her mouth" momma can i have the juice and soup ug why did i had to get sick" she say as she lay on the pillow pouting" what movie are we watching momma" she asked AquaMarie​

Lance took a deep breath before opening the door to the library. All was quiet, for now. She was even shorter than Akira, so when she caught his eye he knelt down and braced himself. "Lance! Oh thank goodness you're here!" She tackled him and covered the right side of his face in purple lipstick. "Oh? Who is this little cupcake you've brought to me?" "He's um... Well, he's my boyfriend." The word had hardly finished appearing before she spun around in delight. "Oh! Oh you've brought a boy home! You've never brought anyone home before! Come here darling, let me get a good look at you!" She took Akiras face in her hands and moved his head about. "Hm, yes yes very nice! Nice features, strong eyes, you'll be good to my little Lancelot you hear?" Lance flushed embarrassed. "Miss Morgan, I asked you not to call me that..." "And I've asked you not to call me Miss Morgan! It makes me sound so old! Come come, I have something for you! I wanted to wait until your birthday next week but I simply couldn't wait to see the look on your face!" Lance arched his brow in question as she pulled a bag from behind her counter. "I finally got around to putting all my recipes in a book, so you know what that means..." "This is...?" His eyes looked hopeful. "Yup! Every last one of my notecards! Tried, tested, and true recipes of the Morgan family line! I never had children of my own and you're practically family so I just had to get them to you right away!" "I appreciate it but could this not have waited until tomorrow after my shift?" "No no no! That simply wouldn't do! Besides, if I had waited I wouldnt have been able to see this lovely face!" She directed at Akira before turning back to Lance. "Oh look at you, my little Lancelot all grown up!" "Miss Morgan please..."

He let go of her ingured hand and gently caressed her cheek. "No matter how awful of a day you've had yourself you somehow manage to always place a smile on face the faces if those around you. Darron leads her down the hall to the dorms so they could stop at their dorm rooms and pick up their boards. "So besides hirting your hand and everything involving my sister, how has your day been so far?" He asks as they walk down the hall.

Isabella just looked at as she smiled looking at him as she went to her room to pick up her skateboard as she just smiled as she waiting for him" it was good it was okay the biolgy teacher wasn't there had a sub today" she say as she just smiled looking at him as she just looked around her smiled " what about you hows your day" she asked happily

He held the board properly at his waist. "It was pretty good, this morning was definitely rough at first but once the day started it got easier. Plus I know my sister will be ok in the end so that's a plus."He says slinging his arm around her shoulders and taking her outside."There this icecream shop a mile down the road if you want to go there for a bit."

Akira stared at the strange librarian who was even smaller then he, some sort of record, and smeared his boyfriend with lipstick. He found himself scowling as he tried to push down the feelings of very intense jealousy. He didn't know why, but something about someone else kissing his man just rubbed him the wrong way. He knew they were close in a family way, and that Lance would probably never leave him for someone like that, but still. Akira would really have to get his own jealousy in check someday, his protectiveness of Lance would be the death of him one day.

Akira remained completely straight-faced as his head was grabbed and jerked around, he didn't have any particular reaction to this. He'd seen weirder things happening back at the school he'd just come from. He'd done weirder things, he thought back to his fountain like nosebleeds. Those were weirder then this lady. "Of cour- did you just call him 'Lance'-lot?" Akira paused as he thought about it. It made sense. Lance was hot like Lancelot, and strong, and it matched the name. Akira thought about before nodding with a soft "Huh."

Akira had no reaction to when his face had been called 'lovely'. He just ended up staring at them awkwardly for the duration of this exchange, feeling sort of out of place. He didn't really want to jump in or start talking, he wasn't even sure how he'd go about doing so if he wanted too. He'd just let Lance take over this and then they could go shopping for groceries in peace.

"I'm sorry dear but you know it has to be taken....you don't want to feel this way forever.." she replied twisting on the cap on the bottle before placing it on the nightstand. She gave her the bowl of soup to start eatting "I don't like it either...and trust me I tried making it taste better but for some reason it always comes out bitter....I always believed my grandmother did the specific recipe so it would taste horrable forever..." she said getting shivers herself at the memorries of the taste. It was a potent medicine good for when sick. Made by Viviennes grandmother and recipe past down. Though no mater what was added the medicine could not get a sweet taste to it, but it was what helped get better from a cold quicker. "Anyways sweet pea eat your soup and relax.."

Lance scrubbed his face trying to get the lipstick off as he looked towards Akira. He looked visibly relieved that Akira wasn't bothered by all this. "Thank you Miss Morgan but we really have to be going now, the supermarkets gonna get crowded soon..." "Well that's not a very good place to go for a date but if that's what the kids are doing these days..." "Well no, I was planning an actual date later I just wanted him to come grocery shopping with me so he could pick out food he likes..." "Oh go on, go go go! Don't waste your youth in this dusty old library! Run along, have some fun, have him home before midnight!" She winked at Akira, which set a strange feeling in Lance's stomach he didn't recognize, and it showed on his face. She sighed wistfully as the two left, "Ah, but to waste your youth is also part of being young, isn't it?" Lance took a deep breath as they walked out and retook Akiras hand, kissing the back of it and taking comfort in feeling Akiras presence. "Sorry about that, we're going to the grocery store this time. No more detours, I promise." A muffled "I saw that!" was heard from the library and Lance flushed. He decided to ignore it and that he would deal with the teasing tomorrow at work. He had made Akira wait long enough. "How was your day while I was out?" He wrote between them.

Akira blushed when she said to have him home by midnight, knowing that they still shared a dorm. Akira was very tempted to point this out as well, but remained silent. Though the fact his boss seemed very aware of what couples did raised some questions about how Lance could possibly be as innocent as he was. There was no way, no possible way he could be so naive. Yet somehow Lance was. Akira sighed to himself as he and Lance relocked their hands together, accepting the feeling of being close to the other again. Akira couldn't help but feel that just holding hands wasn't enough, but he shoved that feeling down and decided to bring it up when they got back to their dorm. Then they could cuddle all they wanted, if what Akira wanted even was cuddling.

He shook his head quickly. Focus on the shopping, and answering the question. How was his day? "It was okay. It would have been better if you were with me." Akira replied without really thinking. He'd missed Lance, but what could you do? When your boyfriend was a hot dragon boi with a penchant for sleeping without a shirt on and you bled at the first sign of his nudity there wasn't much to do about needing to rest after losing copious amounts of blood and having to stay home and rest.
