hand to hand is a joke to portal masters they punch you open portal hand goes in postal closes no more hand or just portal them out into the heart of a sun the other side of the universe another dimension as they try to hit you. anyone that thinks for a moment on how to use their portals in combat would come up with these which counter acts the lack of combat skill as they don't need to fight.

Portal creation is powerful enough on it's own.


You don't need to add a "limitless" bit to it. Even opening a portal between a populated city and an active volcano would do enough damage. Furthermore, if Amelia was such a threat there would be more than just SHIELD after her. Most of the Marvel cosmic stuff would be there too. Andrita Andrita

EDIT- I have a character in another RP who can open portals to a ghost dimension. He could easily use this power to kill folks, but he has a strong moral compass...And he can't cast magic in front of regular mortals.

Arthur is a troubled soul (or souls, depending on how you want to look at things.) Being bullied by not only his father but also the people at his school and work for almost all of his life, Arthur struggles to stay calm in certain situations due to the Spirit of Vengeance bringing his pent up anger to the forefront when he is needing to take extreme measures. Arthur tries to counter this by cracking a few jokes and over all trying to be a 'fun' Ghost Rider. However this doesn't always work. He hears voices in his head, they talk to him and understand, and that is why he has a struggle for control over himself.

Ghost Rider Transformation: he possesses the supernatural ability to transform into the Ghost Rider at will. Originally, he would automatically transform at night or in the presence of evil. Recently, however, he has gained control over his transformations and can transform through an act of will or when innocent blood is spilled. if he losses focus or control of the power of the Ghost Rider, the Spirit regaining control is likely to occur. Arthur and the Spirit inhabit the same body, and while transformed he is in control for the majority of the time. While the Ghost Rider is in control, Arthur only influences its decisions to an extent as he takes the "back seat" to the Spirit.
Superhuman Strength: The Ghost Rider possesses superhuman strength sufficient to lift up to 25 tons under normal circumstances, never the less if desired he could, given the divine nature of his powers increase them to incalculable levels.
Superhuman Stamina: The mystical energy that empowers Ghost Rider prevents his muscles from producing fatigue toxins during physical activities, granting him limitless superhuman stamina.
Superhuman Durability: Johnny Blaze is highly resistant to the point of being basically immune to all types of earthly physical damage, as he has taken blows from beings such as the Hulk, had his entire skull destroyed and regenerated instantly without any discomfort, and while the Ghost Rider is in control only divine weapons (forged in Heaven) can harm the Ghost Rider. The Ghost Rider is capable of withstanding great impact forces, temperature and pressure extremes, powerful energy blasts, and falls from great heights without sustaining injury. As his bodily tissues have been transformed, leaving only a skeleton, most projectiles such as bullets simply pass through him or bounce off his bones. Ghost Rider's body is for all intents immune to physical injury, as he is evidently not able to feel pain and is able to survive with no apparent discomfort no matter how severe the injury (unless a weapon forged from Heaven itself is used against him).
Superhuman Agility: His mystically augmented being grants him enhance reflexes, coordination, dexterity and accuracy. This provides heightened movements allowing him to dodge projectiles such as Thor's hammer.
Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite his invulnerability to conventional forms of injury, objects such as weapons forged in heaven by the arch angel Zadkiel, can actually harm the Ghost Rider to a certain extent. However, if his being is damaged, the magical energies imbuing him allows the Ghost Rider or Arthur to instantly regenerate any and all damage done, even to the point of fully regenerating lost limbs in moments, and regenerating his skull after it was destroyed in seconds without any discomfort or any evident pain.
Empathic Reading: Ghost Rider is able to feel the transgression of an individual he encounters by looking into their heart and soul. He can also decide whether or not a person is innocent or evil and in need of punishment. He is also capable of doing this ability without the process of transformation.
Identity Detection: He can also determine the identity of the individual by simply looking into their soul. However, if certain beings do not possess a soul such as a symbiote or demons, he can still identify them.
Supernatural Awareness: Ghost Rider possesses an extrasensory ability that allows him to detect any supernatural occurrences around him.
Sin Manipulation: Ghost Rider can manipulate the immoral act known as sin. He can purify any soul, whether righteous or degenerate, from sin. However, this effect may cause the victim to be emotionless. He will only backfire the wrongs of the victim causing either an emotional break down or repentance. He can do a number of things with it:
Sin Perception: In addition to read the heart and souls of his victims, he also read, feel and sense the sorts of sins the individual has committed in the rest of their life.
Sin Eating: Also known as Sin Removal. Ghost Rider can remove/absorb any sort of sin from the individual if so desires.
Hellfire Manipulation: Also known as Infernal Pyrokinesis. Ghost Rider possesses the ability to generate, control, and project mystical fire, or "hellfire" at will. Hellfire is an ethereal and supernatural flame that burns the soul of a person and can also be used to burn their physical body. He can utilize this fire in various ways:
Hellfire Infusion: His ability to channel hellfire allows him to imbue objects and vehicles by choice with his mystical element.
Hellfire Projection: He can spew the fire from his eyes, mouth, hands and chest, including channeling the fire from his body into his weapons such as his crowbar.
Hellfire Forgery: He is able to construct various things such as walls, weapons and his motorcycle.
Hellfire Telekinesis: He can also control hellfire infused objects through his mind.
Hellfire Attacks: In addition to projecting and infusing hellfire, he can perform a number of attacks. He can create hellfire balls, spew out a massive wave and unleash omnidirectional explosions that are incredibly powerful, capable of bringing great pain to the Hulk.
Hell Firestorm: He is able to rain down a firestorm of hellfire directly towards the surrounding enemies resulting to devastating destruction.
Soul Manipulation: Ghost Rider has the ability to manipulate souls, the incorporeal essence of a living thing. This more evident when he performs the Penance Stare. He can do various things with it:
Soul Reading: As stated above, he can read the souls of his victims and judge their innocence and guilt, their sins and identity.
Soul Consumption: He can consume souls if the individual is degenerate and heartless to an extent where the victim becomes lifeless.
Dimensional Travel: Ghost Rider is able to traverse different dimensions. He can open vortexes to escape other realms.
Mystical Chain Projection: Ghost Rider wields a mystical chain that is capable of growing in length, cutting through almost anything, and transforming into other weapons. He can also spew and project chains from his mouth or chest at will, and control the movements with his mind.
Demon Magic Manipulation: Ghost Rider utilizes demonic forces and satanic spells to his advantage. His knowledge of hellish energies and essence provides him supernatural awareness when he encounters otherworldly figures.
Penance Stare: Ghost Rider possesses the supernatural ability to cause any individual who stares into his eyes to see and feel every bit of pain they have ever inflicted on anyone in their entire lifetime for all eternity. Recently, he is able to incapacitate the inhabitants of Mojoworld without locking into their eyes and still inflicting great suffering.
Self-Size Alteration: In the past, Ghost Rider demonstrated his ability to increase his size. After being shrunkened, he was able to grow back to his original height through a sheer act of will. Recently, he once again perform this action but only heightening himself against beings such as Thor and Satana Hellstrom.

Skilled Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Although he's had no proper training, Arthur is a formidable hand to hand combatant and has become quite adept at using his powers in combat situations.

Weaknesses:
Heavenly Weapons: Any weapon crafted from Heaven or blessed can mutilate the Ghost Rider. This is the only way to decapitate a Spirit of Vengeance.
Host Separation: Though killing with a Heavenly weapons is one way, another way to defeat the Ghost Rider is to separate the Spirit away from the host. This makes the host return to be mortal but the Spirit will remain in it's current state until it finds a new body to inhabit.

Jack O'Lantern is a magical being, usually embodied in a scarecrow-like body of straw and twigs, with a pumpkin carved like a jack-o-lantern for a head. Inside his head is a candle, whose ever-lit flame is often mistaken to be his life-force. He can use it to breathe a blast of fire from his mouth.

Jack O'Lantern is an extremely skilled sorcerer, and is also nearly immortal; even if his body is totally destroyed, seeds from his pumpkin head are capable of growing a new body for him, sometimes by taking over and transforming the body of another living being if a seed has been ingested.   • Mind Transference: By training with an alien race, Doom has gained the ability to switch his mind with that of another nearby human being with whom he has made eye contact, a process which he learned from the alien Ovoids. However, Doom prefers his own body and only uses this transference power as a last resort.
  • Hypnotism: Doom is able to hypnotize individuals, as he did with Aquaman.
  • Technopathy Doom can exert technopathic control over certain machines, most notably the Doombots, but can control other technologies too, as he did with his suit's charger, describing his ability as latent telepathy.
Super-Genius Intelligence: Doctor Doom's most dangerous weapon is his intellect. He is one of the top mortal minds on the planet. Doom even cured Ben Grimm of his Thing form. Doom has constructed hundreds of devices, including a working time machine, devices which can imbue people with powers, and many types of robots. His most frequently used robots are his "Doombots," exact mechanical replicas of the himself. They look like him, talk like him, and even act like him. Individually, Doombots have an advanced AI (artificial intelligence) so that each one believes itself to be the real Doom. As a safety measure, each Doombot has a dampener program that is triggered whenever the real Doom (or another Doombot) is nearby. These "body doubles" appear when Doom cannot be present or is unwilling to risk his own life, and are often responsible for Doom's seeming return from certain death. Another common type of robot used is the Servo-Guard, the police force of Latveria. Doom specializes in physics, robotics, cybernetics, genetics, weapons technology, biochemistry, and time travel. He was able to resist psychic attacks from Emma Frost and the Purple Man using only his will, to reject the mystical armor that the Soulsword provides the wielder on sheer willpower alone and while he was tortured in Hell, he refused to let a single audible indication of pain exit his mouth.

Highly Influential Connections: As Monarch of Latveria, Doctor Doom has access to technological and military hardware. He also has command of conventional military forces; see Doctor Doom's Generals.

Diplomatic Immunity: As the leader of a sovereign nation, Doctor Doom often visits the United Statesor the United Nations for political reasons. He enjoys diplomatic immunity during these trips, and his embassy is considered foreign soil. He has even been escorted by Captain America himself. After renouncing his status as ruler of Latveria.

Master Martial Artist: During his time in Tibet, Doom was trained in martial arts by the monks. He is vastly skilled in many combat techniques, both armed and unarmed. He has been trained by the best sword masters on Earth and can achieve very powerful nerve strikes. His combat skills are so great that he managed to kill a lion with his bare hands, to beat Daredevil in hand-to-hand combat and to wield Captain America's shield as proficiently as Steve Rogers himself.

Artist: Doom has shown himself to be a talented artist. He painted a duplicate of the Mona Lisa while using Layla Miller as his model.

Spider-Man was able to gain his assistance concerning unknown technology by saying Reed could not figure it out. He sometimes wears circuitry in his hood guarding against psychic assault, and occasionally uses weapons or traps incorporating his father's Adhesive X, which forms an unbreakable bond with any substance unless it is subjected to a special solvent.

Moonstone: Zemo has usurped Karla Sofen's moonstones, alien power gems which enable him to manipulate energy on a massive scale for effects such as strength/durability augmentation, space warp creation, gravity manipulation, light manipulation, molecular phasing, and more.

Weapons
Zemo makes use of much of the same devices invented by his father, including particle, formula, and adhesive X, as well as his dad's disintegrator gun and anti-psychic headband. In close-combat, he prefers an Adamantium sword. He also makes use of various energy weapons and mind-control devices.

VLS Body system - The Vampire Life Support Body System created by Arnold Stark is implanted in him when he was found barely breathing outside a burning down home where he and his men plundered a home(Guess who's there?) one time, resulting to his face and skin being burnt off along with a few body parts. Thus, his good friend, Arnold Stark, implanted the experimental VLS Body System which turns out to be a grand success. The VLS Body System allows him to walk around in the sun.
VLS Blood Draining Claws - These claws, when pierced to one's skin, activates a mechanism which allows the system to suck blood into the suit, and hence, his body.
Wrist Cannons - There are sub automatic Machine Guns on the wrists of his armor which can be shot with a neurotic signal. These can also shoot missiles as well.

Origin of Powers/Abilities: Connor was arrested after reportedly pirating products and accessing secured networks, and in court was offered a desirable alternative to jail time: rehabilitation. Thinking he could just feign his way through it and then have his record cleaned up, he opted for this. What happened, instead, was his smuggling into an underground science operation known as the Bio-GESH Project. The goal was apparently to recreate some kind of Stark super-serum, but instead using mutant genetics. Connor, and three other prisoners who would become his friends, were all imbued with different, dormant powers. The project inevitably shut down when prisoners organized a mass revolt, and Connor and his friends escaped in the chaos, eventually rooming together in an apartment downtown. His friends' powers remained dormant, but Connor's ironically awoke when he experienced an excruciating, unending brainfreeze, courtesy of a Slurpee. Only the comical bag he wears keeps his head insulated enough to stave off the brainfreeze, and acts as a sort of focus for his energy-manipulating powers.

Powers/Abilities:
  • Green Energy: Strange fire-like energy that crackles with static; can be channeled in different ways:
    • Projectile Blasts: Can be thrown as fireballs in a hurry, or as accurate blasts when focusing (think Johnny Cage's fireballs)
    • Shield/Domes: Can manifest into protective shields or domes of varying sizes
    • Energy Beams: Can be focused into a powerful beam (think Iron Man's Unibeam)
    • Propulsion: Can be forcefully channeled out of hands and feet, useful for flying
    • Energy Bands: Can be channeled into thin, crackling bands of energy, usually for swinging or subduing (think Crimson Bands of Cyttorak... but green)
    • Teleportation: Can allow for short-range teleportation (usually a few hundred feet, under distress can be a few miles)
  • Enhanced Perception: His bag focuses his ordinarily haywire senses, granting Conmon improved senses (especially hearing)
  • Superhuman Agility: Conmon is extremely flexible and agile, able to flip and spin about the environment to confuse criminals.
  • Healing Factor: Not remotely as potent as others', Conmon's energy control allows for some moderate self-repair, and makes him quite durable
  • Omega Phase: As a last resort, Conmon's energy will overcharge, sending him into Omega Phase, where he becomes an emotionless, white-eyed weapon of mass destruction:
    • Omega Strength: A single punch can nearly vaporize a skyscraper, though usually Conmon's energy can exert some self-control and not vaporize the ground he walks on
    • Omega Energy: Untested, though theorized to exert atom-splitting levels of destruction; Conmon typically won't waste time with flying or throwing fireballs in this stage
    • Omega Perception: Conmon can hear across the continent, and his energy can acutely focus on whatever is sneaking up on him...
    • Omega Durability: Conmon essentially becomes bulletproof, and his wounds immediately close up, to a certain extent
      (Omega Phase ends on its own accord, and will leave Conmon drained and extremely vulnerable for several hours)

  • Improvised Combat: Combining his peak-human strength and energy projection, Conmon can readily navigate combat on the fly
  • Extreme Wit: Most people wouldn't consider this superhuman at all
Weaknesses:
  • Paper Bag: If ever removed, Conmon will immediately lapse into a debilitating brainfreeze, and lose finer control over his powers
  • Electric Shock: For whatever reason, electric or static energy is equally debilitating, often disorienting Conmon's enhanced perception
  • Omega Phase: If Conmon's Omega Phase attacks could be deflected back to him, it would immediately end the ability; also Conmon is weakened afterwards
