Ok, I'm going to start on my post for the initial scene, and will have it up for you guys to start to introduce yourselves to each other. It should be up soon.

Sherwood Sherwood , Hypothetically... If one was to take say a flying form and try to hit a target with dropped items, what sort of dice pool would they be looking at? I could see either Perception or Dexterity, and I could also see Archery, Thrown, or Martial Arts.

Edit: The childish revenge prank joke eventually got me thinking it could be useful if we had a Strix/Great Eagle/Great Roc form ally dropping hazards on a location. Like fire dust casks.

And I'll have to think about the damage done by a dropped boulder or firedust barrel.

Gandalfian giant birds are never a bad form to have in one's pocket. I'll have to find the space to open my options up with more Knacks.

A Ice Weasel and a Polar Bear will be no problem for our intrepid hunters. Feel free to add them to your Hearts Blood library.

Once we are in battle, basic one die Stunts are pretty much a given, so long as you give me some more description than 'I hit him'. Most of the time, two dice Stunts will be the norm, and three die Stunts will be awarded by vote of the whole party to say that it was an epic enough post.

Just a quick reminder to those with heavier armor. It will take you some time to put it on. If your hearthstone(s) are attached to your armor, you will not have benefit of their powers unless you have your armor on. I am not saying not to get your armor; you'll have some time to prepare before the monsters turn their attention to you.

I'll have to ponder this: if I don't put my armor on, I won't have my hearthstone, since my twin Daikalves don't have a socket in them. I may need to invest in a hearthstone amulet, just to keep it handy.

Armor with a -0 Mobility Penalty will take you 30 seconds to put on. If you rush, you can do it in half the time, but there is a chance that you may not put it on correctly, and you may lose some or all the benefits of the armor.

Quick question: the charm Flowing Mirror of Opposition contains this text -
"The Blissful Sage can also attack more quickly, adding his Essence to his Join Battle dice pool at the start of combat and subtracting one tick from the Speed of his attack."

Is this a passive effect or do you have to activate the charm to gain this bonus?

For the Join Battle roll, I will say it is a passive effect, but for the rest of the bonus, you'll have to activate the Charm.

Also guys, when you make your post in combat, make sure you list your Speed or I will assume it is a Speed 5 action by default.

Pretty much lol. Do 10s count as doubles on Join Battle rolls? Also I'm debating whether to fight this battle on the ground or in the air, since I could pay 4m to manifest wings for the scene.

10s are double in everything except damage, unless you have a Charm that changes that.

The Celestial Monkey Style as a whole is pretty handy, especially the final charm, which basically removes the need for form weapons since you count any attack with Martial Arts as unarmed. It also halves certain stat requirements for weapons, meaning that at some point I could carry around a warstrider-sized wrackstaff and use it as a weapon, even if it should by all means be too big for me.
