Fantasy Lifeweb Academy: School For The Magical

Skye turned and nodded. "Yea, you're in the right place." He confirmed, irritated that yet another person was here. He turned to the girls next to him. "She's not in a very good mood and would like you to let go of her." He told the smaller girl, trying to keep the princess from sending her back to wherever she was.

@Kazehana @Mitchs98 @Yaoke Saint

Ignoring Skye, because that is what she does, Solbi eyed whomever that may have been that just showed up. "And who art thee, prithee?" she asked, not particularly happy that someone else was here. She simply used the back of her hand to swat away the annoying fairy, not in the mood to tolerate her anymore.

@Cruor Flumine @Mitchs98 @Yaoke Saint

"Wonderful. I didn't want to keep playing guess-and-check the rest of the afternoon." She then glares at the strangely spoken girl. "Thanks for asking. I'm someone who doesn't take kindly to people who swat fairies as if they were a meaningless fly," she says menacingly, moving subtly into a more combative stance.

@Cruor Flumine @Mitchs98 @Kazehana

Skye watched the newcomer closely. The slight movement was enough for him to know what she was doing. "She's faster than you may think, I wouldn't try it." He advised, hand on his folded bow, ready to spring into action if necessary.

Zelika

Zelika was walking around the room again. She didn't want to fight during the day, since she just hated daytime that much. She still remembered the days before she embraced the shadows, how she ran around in the sunlight, playing with the other children. That was before her clan was taken over. To tell the truth, the enemy clan didn't take bad care of her. They were all so nice to her, and although she disliked all of them to a certain degree, she never really hated them or wanted them dead. After all, they just expelled the most of her clan to another continent, not killing them. Her personality went all haywire when she found and opened the forbidden scroll containing some of the worlds darkest shadow magic. It changed completely, from the loud, cheerful, bright and life-loving girl she was to the quiet, dark, sinister and power-obsessed girl she is now. She looked down at her gauntlets. Sometimes, little snippets of her past personality would slip out, especially in crucial life or death times. Knowing this, she had to kill the harpy girl as fast as she can, and as mercilessly as possible, or else the old her would prevent her from doing so.

@anyone lel

She relaxes slightly, enough to be less threatening but still in a ready position. "I've lived a long time, enough to know when to talk and when to fight. I'll wait for now, but not for long."

Shadows flow up from the floor, beginning to form what looks like the handle of a knife in her hand.

Headmaster Grey

Lucian had been watching everyone enter, fight, and otherwise talk amongst themselves. Thus far everything seemed to be going decently well. None of the new students seemed particularly weak, which was a good thing for his experiments. He waited a few more minutes before clearing his throat in front of the microphone and gaining the attention of the students. He decided to make things short and simple, after all there was no point in going into much detail..everyone would attend the same classes aside from clubs anyway.

"Welcome to Lifeweb Academy. I am Headmaster Grey, owner of the academy and inventor of the Lifeweb. Some of you may not have some of the advances in science where you are from, and others may. Nonetheless..I welcome you to this school and I hope you enjoy your time spent here." He spoke. "Classes will not be held today in favor of you getting to know one another, get settled in, and of course learn the layout of the academy. Please stop by the front desk to pick up your room key, map, and schedule from the receptionist. Once again please enjoy your time here and I look forward to seeing you all in class tommorrow. If you have any questions, ask myself or one of the Professors." He continued before turning from the podium and moving to sit in a chair in the middle of the gathered faculty, ready to answer any questions that might occur.

She looked over to the poor fairy. When she saw what condition she was in, her eyes widened, suddenly filling with shadow, completely black. She lunges at the angelic girl, yelling: "You see what you did?! Shit, you almost killed her!" She swipes her knife at her head, in a red-hot rage.

Skye, almost immediately rushed to the fallen girl's side and checked for breathing. He let out a relieved sigh before gently lifting her up. He held up his hand and watched as shadowy tendrils shot at the newcomer, trying to wrap around her wrist. Regardless, the tendrils would take the hit if the others didn't secure her wrist. He held the fairy in his other hand and covered her in shadows. Shadow magic, although infamous for its damaging effects, can also be used to heal at the cost of the users magic energy.

Zelika

Zelika was half listening to the headmaster. Her eyes were focused on the guy that was using some sort of shadow magic to heal some fairy that had been injured. Interesting...Shadow magic that can heal...I need to get to know this person...she thought. She kept on staring at the shadows that had engulfed the fairy and the boy with her piercing stare, her red eyes glowing in interest.

@Mitchs98 @Cruor Flumine

She saw the shadowy tendrils reaching for her wrist. She pulled her arm out of harm's way, but at the same time wrenched herself to the side, missing the angelic girl and landing in a roll a few feet behind her. Still seething with anger she straightens and takes deep breaths, trying to calm down, but still staring daggers at the angel.

Blake

Blake was about to say yes to the fetch game, but before he could, the headmaster had spoke. He was at the door frame to listen in but otherwise was still outside. After the very short and simple message, he turned back to Conan. Picking up a stray stone. He placed it in his sling shot and fired it towards the courtyard. FETCH!!!! He yelled out before actually running himself towards where he saw it land. It was gonna be a race between the two.

Conan

Conan, lying on the grass, had heard every bit of the speech due to the academy having outdoor speakers. Deciding he would leave all of that kind of stuff to Roselyn, his ears perked up as the stone flew threw the air and landing nearby. But Blake was running after it too...? Realizing it was a race, the boy got on all fours and broke into a sprint toward the rock, zooming past his friend completely. With his unnatural amount of strength, he didn't need to change forms, and he soon found that the stone was in his mouth. "I win! I didn't know fetch was a race!"

@Bolts

Blake

Blake scooted to a stop when Conan bolted past him. He was going his max speed and still got passed. It was pretty cool to Blake. I didn't know either. I just really wanted to fetch the ball. Got caught up in the moment HEHE. He wondered how he could get the stone next time. Since he was so fast, out running him was out of the question. Alright, you throw the ball this time. We will go back and forth! He still wondered when he would get to see this Roselyn person, but Conan didn't seem to pay any mind to who ever they were at the moment.

@Bolts[/URL]

Conan

When Blake said it was only because he had gotten carried away, Conan decided fetch should always be like that. "Well, I think the new fetch should be a race! Now... fet--" "Conan." Stopping in his tracks with the stone still in his hand, the wolf boy shuddered at the sound of his caretaker's voice and looked behind him. She wore a rather unsatisfied look on her face, reaching into her basket for something. "R-Roselyn! Okay, fine! I'll put my shoes back on!" Before he could actually run to where his shoes were, the girl with the cloak pulled an orange rubber ball out of the basket with a small grin. "You honestly believe I'd let you play fetch with a rock?"

Saya

Saya had ghosted her way into the auditorium, not literally, but she stood way in the back and ignored the chairs placed about that were filled with students. Both hues remained locked on the ground, whether it was out of embarrassment, social anxiety of some sort, or an unconcerned manner wasn't determined. It wasn't until the Headmaster spoke that she managed to lift her gaze, sinking further against the wall she'd propped her small frame against. Male authority... a cringe was vaguely noticeable upon her features but she forced herself to listen to his words, struggling visibly to do so. As soon as he finished, Saya quickly removed herself from the wall and headed to the front desk, walking at a brisk pace whilst her hair splayed about to dance with each step. " Sayakoto Eishirou. " Simple, audible. The receptionist handed her all the necessary documents along with her dorm key and room number before she stepped away, slipping the papers into her small school bag that rested against her side. She'd fallen into the bad habit of chewing her lip, doing so as she pulled out the map and stared at it, turning it around and around as if struggling to know which way to correctly look at it. " It's a puzzle.. " She mumbled in an annoyed tone, clearly straining to figure it out. A hand reached into her pocket to retrieve her glasses and slide them on, as if this would enlighten her and somehow help it make sense. The map was then thrown in the air carelessly due to frustration, eyes narrowing in unison, a rather misplaced blush on her cheeks to accompany the emotion.

Blake

Blake was getting ready for a head start when a females voice belted out. He froze from the sternness of tone. Looking over his shoulder, he saw the red hooded person reaching into her cloak. Was she about to take out something to hit Conan? It was the only thing that ran through Blake's mind as Conan was trying to explain something. A moment later, an orange ball was held in her hand. Blake perked up just like a dog at the sight. He may like having a good time, but he was starting to not act entirely like himself. He came running up beside Conan. His eyes fixed on the rubber ball.

Zelika

Zelika made her way out of the room after a good long stare that that one guy's healing shadow magic that she'd like to learn one day. She made her way to her room, to continue her meditation to get ready for her fight with the harpy girl. She passed a short purple haired girl on the way there. The girl seemed to be having trouble figuring out where how to use the map. "Back up to dorm room No. 52..." she subconsciously said as she passed the girl. Looks like her light side was trying to help people again.

Solbi rolled her eyes. "The fairy acteth over dramatically. I merely touchest her, let alone hurtest her. Anything that happened was a result was her fault," she stated, glaring at her but not making any moves (Note: This is assuming we can all agree that I didn't mean for it to look like it was even possible for Alicia to get hurt from Solbi batting her away. Alicia in no way could have had a broken wing or those bruises from Solbi's actions alone). As the girl started threatening her, she took a breath, eyeing everything that she was doing. She would have actually went to help the girl, but if she did, there was a good chance she would have to deal with a surprise attack, so she opted to let the other guy deal with her. As the girl lunged at her, she grabbed a large metal shield from the air, using it to defend herself from her assailant. As the girl rolled past her, Solbi used magic to turn herself around, as she was unable to move the shield by her own strength alone. "I haven't the time to dealest with thee, so excusest me when I ignoreth thee," she stated, dispelling the shield she had brought from her storage dimension and moving back to the other guy that helped the fairy. "What didst she even do to giveth herself such injuries?" she asked, unsure how it could have happened. Her 'blow' was far too slow and soft to have done all that, so she didn't feel at all responsible for her condition.

Conan

At first Conan thought Roselyn was gonna punish him by hurting Blake, but the opposite was true. She was offering the two a legitimate ball to play with, a ball he had never seen her with before. Had she been anticipating playing fetch with him and even a friend he would make in the future? It must have been, because even Blake was beside him, panting at the sight of the orange ball almost as vigorously as he. He thought his friend was acting unlike how a dark grey human thing should, but in all honesty, he liked it. As the ball flew out of Roselyn's hand, he was already after it, leaving a trail of ripped up grass behind him.

Roselyn

Roselyn was quite happy to see that Conan's new friend shared the same energy as the boy himself did, especially when she saw that the two weren't playing roughly. She could see a bright friendship among the two, and with the shiftling appearing to be older than the girl herself was, she was sure that Conan would be safe as long as he stayed with him. Her constant uneasy feelings about her pet being on his own had mostly diminished, leaving her free to get her things settled at the front desk, and turning on her heels, she began walking to do so.

...

"Excuse me," Roselyn cleared her throat for the receptionist, "Roselyn Read." After a few minutes of standing, her necessary documents and keys and maps were handed over the desk to her, but before she left, she would try to get things situated for Conan. "I'd like Conan Read's information as well. He's a little... clumsy, when it comes to things like this." With a sigh, the receptionist handed her her pet's (or brother's, in this case) important documents and maps and the sort.

...

Leaving Conan's info, maps and keys on the grass he was playing on, she marked the spot with a dainty yellow rose. He'd know who left it. Roselyn went her own way and made her way to her own dorm, navigating the school flawlessly.

Skye shrugged. "Dunno. Just let her heal for now." He said. A wave of dizziness took over him, causing him to stumble slightly. Carefully, the man lowered himself into a seat and rested his arms on the armrests, the hand holding the fairy facing palm up.

@Kazehana @Mitchs98

Solbi sat next to him, looking to see if he was alright. "Didst thou use thy energy to revive said fairy?" she questioned, not sure why anyone would do that. She did it to herself after all. Looking at the fairy now, she wondered if she would wake up. If she did, Solbi sincerely hoped that she would be too tired or something to be a nuisance. Looking back at him, she had to wonder, "Art thou okay?"

Alicia Red

Alicia didn't move as she was moved to be healed. Solbi herself hadn't injured her so much as the fall did. Fairies were typically very delicate creatures unless they possesed or were otherwise in a bigger form than normal. The hit had did little more than knock her off balance to fall. Her wing itself had happened to be partially injured beforehand as well, her falling just so happened to finish the job. The bruising was just that, bruising. She was only unconcious due to hitting her head when she hit the floor. Really, her injuries were minor save for the broken wing.

It didn't take her long at all to regain conciousness. Holding up she instantly recoiled away from Solbi at the sight of her and up Skye's arm hiding behind his head. She most definetely wasn't her friend at all, her friend wouldn't of hit her and made her fall. She trembled visibly and peeked out from behind his head in fear. "I-I'm Sorry.." She told her, referring to when she was trying to get her to be her friend earlier.

Saya

Saya's eyes curiously slid to hover on the person whom spoke of the dorms, figuring following this girl would be safer then actually trying to spark up a conversation and admit she needed help. The alternative would be more of a hassle after-all. Inaudible footsteps followed Zelika as she tried to appear like she wasn't stalking the girl, though it could be taken that way if one were to jump to paranoid conclusions. She was visually soaking in the scenery and memorizing the path to the dorm, gaze flickering about but keeping her unknowing tour guide within her sight. The last thing she needed was to lose her trail and stand around with that lost sheep look on her face and be forced to actually ask for directions. A building slowly loomed into view that she felt safe to assume were where the dorms were located. This realization caused her to sprint rather quickly ahead, bolting past the girl she'd shadowed and bursting through the doors with a sigh of relief. " Thank you. " She ushered out to Zelica before she disappeared to navigate the building, slowly coming to a stop before one of the doors that bore the number of the room she'd been assigned to. It was a given that she would have a roommate and as much as the thought of forcefully being close to someone bothered her, she couldn't help but wonder what they would be like. Minutes seemed to tick by as she stood there, clutching the key tightly within two hands as if for some sort of comfort.

@PeteTSs @Salt Lord

Almost immediately, Skye cut off the magic flow, letting out a heavy sigh as he did so. "I'll be fine...just used a bit too much energy to heal her." He explained. "The worst thing that'll happen is the killer headache coming along. Fairy, leave Princess be. And Princess? I'd never think I'd see you worried about my health."
