Fantasy Lifeweb Academy: School For The Magical

Solbi refused to look up from her book, still going through its pages to find out what happens next. "The title ist a phrase used to describeth the book," she replied, flatly once more. She really wasn't happy or mad or sad or anything. She was just too engrossed in her book to pay attention to him at the moment.

@Cruor Flumine

Solbi glanced at him briefly before returning to her book. "I shall tell my name to whomever may be my prince, and no one else," she responded, flipping another page.

@Cruor Flumine

He raised an eyebrow. "Really now? Well good luck with that, princess." Skye said, reaching back and itching one if his wings.

Solbi looked up, watching him do so. "Thanks. Letest me know if thou seest him," she said, going back to her book. If only she could finish this chapter, then she could deal with this. For now, she just wanted to read.

Maria Ann

Sheesh this girl was hardcore. Maria couldn't tell if she was being serious or just trying to act threatening. Maria didn't mean anything like a death match..but apparently this girl thought she did. Nonetheless it didn't stop her, she was going to go through with the challenge regardless, she wasn't a coward after all! Nevertheless she needed to find someone, she guessed. Her choices were with Respen or Lawrence off the top of her head. She quickly spotted them from where she was but first she turned back to Zelkia, just in time to catch her creepy stare. "Y-Yeah well there isn't even gunna be school today! It's cancelled for today! So..so we can do it after lunch! So there! Ha!" She retorted slightly nervously before flying off to Respen and Lawrence.

She felt partly bad for interrupting their conversation, but she kind of just got into a death match so her priorities overruled theirs to her currently. Landing beside Respen she moved to hug him, "Respen buddy! We're friends, right? Sooo I may or may not have gotten into a fight that may or may not be a death match. Would you do me a really big favor and spectate it to make sure she doesn't kill me?" She asked him while looking at him with pleading eyes.

Respen blinked, confused, as Maria hugged him.
"A.......death match? Well......I suppose I could do that. Lawrence, would you like to join in on watching it? We could be judges!"

"Meh.....why not?" Lawrence yawned, leaning back on his pillow. "But I think you mean 'referees'."

"Yes, that! Isn't this exciting? A battle to the death between two young ladies!" Respen pumped his fist. "We're watching history being made, can't you believe it?"

"Uh........no comment."

Instead of trying to make conversation again, Skye just leaned back in his seat and brought his ankle up to rest on his other leg's knee. Pulling an arrow from his quiver, he started to roll it between his fingers.

@Kazehana

Once Solbi finished her chapter, she closed the book, letting out a breath to release the tension she felt within herself. It seemed that something had just resolved in her book, letting the climax peak so that she could realize the outcome of the conflict within. Throwing it up, it disappeared back to god knows where, and she was free to do more stuff. "Didst thou not say this nonsense wouldeth begin soon?" she asked, frowning. Had he lied to her? Probably. This didn't look like it was going anywhere any time soon.

@Cruor Flumine

Without looking up, Skye replied. "I said hopefully. Who knows when he'll start speaking." Quickly, he slid the arrow back into the quiver. "We can't force him to begin Princess, just wait for him to begin."

@Kazehana

Solbi looked at him with confusion. "Prithee, why dost thou insist on calling me 'princess'?" she asked, genuinely concerned. This man wasn't to be her prince! He was far too inadequate to do so! Besides, her prince would know her name, so it couldn't possibly be him.

@Cruor Flumine

"Because you act all high and mighty, like everyone should bend their knee towards you." Skye explained, turning to look at her. "Well, that and you won't tell me your name."

@Kazehana.

Solbi blinked her eyes a few times. "Everyone shouldeth bend thy knees! I am the picture of beauty and grace, verily," se said. Ir was a little odd that he didn't see it, and it had her a little worried. Did he not see the appeal? That wasn't good. Who did he think he was?

Conan

Conan shivered at the sight of the pink glow, knowing all too well what was going to happen to Blake. He took a gulp and whispered to himself, wishing his friend a good time in the afterlife... until the glow disappeared. This didn't happen before at all. Was Roselyn actually letting him communicate with other people? He looked back, making out Roselyn by her bright red hood, and somehow noticed her nod that said "Go." With a grin and a shine in his eyes, he looked back down at Blake. "I'll show you her when the orientation happens. But let's go outside now and have fun!"

Blake

Blake nodded in agreement. We should stay close by the door. I hear you don't wanna get the headmaster man mad. But yes! Nothing like the good ol' outside to play. Blake proceeded to scamper over to the door. He was putting out just as much enthusiasm as Conan was. What do you wanna do first!?

Conan

Conan pushed open the door and walked down the stone path for a few seconds before jumping into the grass and throwing off his shoes and socks. Roselyn didn't mind when he did it outside, did she? Hopefully not. "Maybe... I dunno. Roselyn doesn't play a lot of games with me," he said, scratching himself behind the ear, "But I hear fetch is fun. Wanna try it out?"

"Maybe you are," He began. ", but that doesn't mean that we should bow down to you, Princess." Skye said before letting out a sigh. "Try not to put yourselves above others, you'll make more allies that way."

"Hmm, he was able to figure it out pretty quickly." Lawrence jabbed his finger at Respen. "Guess it's because he has the power to read minds."
"True. I think it's pretty obvious that we're not blood relatives," Respen said. That was a good point. Respen's hair was long, sleek, and blonde, while Lawrence's was short, scruffy, and reddish-brown. Not to mention the obvious height difference.....

Respen blinked, confused, as Maria hugged him.
"A.......death match? Well......I suppose I could do that. Lawrence, would you like to join in on watching it? We could be judges!"

"Uh........no comment."
The twins looked at each other briefly before looking at Respen and Lawrence just as another female came flying in. Arisu was surprised as the girl hugged him, feeling a small sense of jealousy and envy to be able to do that so easily. She shook her head to get rid of these thoughts and tugged on her brothers shirt again. They simply watched the exchange between the other three, wondering what the problem was and who this girl was.

Solbi snorted. "Who needeth allies, anyway?" she said disdainfully. In truth, that's what she was trying to do, but she was terrible at it. She didn't quite grasp the concept of a mutual relationship, so she ends up just being snooty most of the time. Perchance the time she had spent inf The Overthere gave her a superiority complex. After all, not everyone go it...

Leo smiled to Varien as he spoke to him. Out of all the places he had been in his life, Leo has never been to the tribes of the north. What was their life like? What about their culture? All of these tiny details, questions, were whiring around in his head. "Oh? So you're not the only one with your magic?" Leo chuckled, "From what I've heard my magic is fairly unique. I don't know how I'd feel about having the same magic as other people. Is that not...weird?"

Varien shrugged. "I suppose it can be. But we learn from eachothers mistakes and achievements to improve upon our selves. That's just how our society runs." He explained. "For one who grew up in such a society, something like that is utterly normal."

"Those who want to succeed need allies. That's how it works. One person cannot do everything by themselves." He looked around. "Hey...What happened to that girl that was latching onto you?" Skye asked.

Solbi was rather irritated when he brought it up. "Tsk, I senteth her away because I couldeth not deal with her infuriating disposition," she grunted, obviously not happy that he brought her up. She didn't ever want to have to deal with her again because, well, she was very annoyed with her. She contemplated the former comment, not sure how to respond. To be quite honest, she didn't think he was telling the truth because she thought she could do it all. And she could, just look at her!

@Cruor Flumine

Skye sighed. "Just bring the damned girl back. Maybe she'll quiet down after a bit." He said, hoping to persuade her to loosen up and let the girl free.

@Kazehana

Solbi snorted. She absolutely doubted that the girl would stop being such a nuisance, but perhaps she could convince her to stay away. Perchance by threat. With an eye roll, she brought the fairy back, though put her on the opposite side of the room. As per the dimensional rules, the other dimension's time progressed at a much faster rate. As such, the fairy was gone but for but 5 seconds in her perception. Thus, it would just seem like a random yet bizarre occurrence.

@Cruor Flumine @Mitchs98

Out of the shadows the group was casting, the darkness molded itself into a girl wearing clothes kin to that of an assassin. Loose black wraps along the whole body, and a mask over her face and nose. Her pale feet were left bare, contrasting greatly with the rest of her. She inspected the people in front of her, an angelic girl reading a book and an elf-like person with wings. When she spoke, her voice was slightly muffled by the mask. "This is the academy, right? I hope it is. Last time I traveled like this I appeared in an old-folks home. It was not a pretty sight. Heart attacks all around."

Shadows seemed to swirl through her otherwise silver eyes. Her hair was pitch black, like her clothes, and seemed to float abit, as if at a slightly lower gravity than the rest of her.

Skye let out a sigh, watching her pop up on the opposite side of the room. "Alright, thanks. It wouldn't be good to loose a student on the very first day."

Alicia Red

It seemed Alicia wasn't doomes to be alone forever, or that long at all really. She appeared mid air on the other side of the room, managing to catch herself with flight before she hit the floor. She was extremely confused and scared, what exactly happened? She didn't really want to dwell on it to much. Nonetheless she soon spotted her future best friend and quickly flew over landing on her shoulder and running up hugging her cheek crying. "Friend! I was scared and alone, what happened! I couldn't find you or anyone!" She whined.

She didn't notice the person behind her appear, not until they spoke at-least. She turned to look at them and almost immediately regretted it, they looked so creepy! Pretty much immediately she buried her face in Solbi's cheek trying to blend into her.

"Awesome! Thanks guys!" She cheered while bringing Lawrence into the hug. She then turned to Caine and Arisu. "Hey! New to the school I see? I'm Maria, nice to meetcha! I see you guys are becoming nice friends. Don't worry, me and Respen aren't dating or anything, he's free game." She told them. "I'm gunna get a seat, orientation should start soon. Remember, after lunch! If you don't come I'll never forgive ya!" She added, directing the last part to Respen and Lawrence before walking off and finding a seat.
