Hickory now began to run towards the station the kitten still in his arms, and his tail swishing behind him. "Come now! Glad we left early. The smugglers must be at the station soon." He quickly placed the kitten down on the ground nearby a bush, hoping that it'd find it's own way.
Kier shifted his scythe and walked along the pavement, he was on his way to a certain house that he had visited before, so he knew roughly where he was going, as he walked he hummed a little tune to himself, pushing his spectales up his nose, he turned another corner and picked up his pace a little, no running, but he wasn't walking either, probably speedwalking or something...
(Is anyone free to Rp with kier? Like could he bump into somebody?)
( He could possibly bump into Hickory. He's running right now with his hat tipped down. )
Hickory continued to run, his mismatched eyes glimmering furiously as the sun shined. He smirked and his fangs poked out as he did so. He didn't care at the moment that he was leaving his 'friends' behind. They'd catch up sometime. Yeah...sometime...
The tip of his scythe glinted in the sun, he carried on untill he was jogging, before he could stop hinmself, he bumped into a very attractive looking gentleman with mismatched eyes, he stepped back a bit, eyes wide..
"O...o.. I'm sorry.." He mumbled, hitching his scythe off of his shoulder and holding it in his hand instead..
"Its hickory, right?" He smiled softly, he had seen Hickory around a few times, but he was relitivley new, and didn't have many friends.. Yet
He bumped into Kier with and oof! He shook his head, one of his ears bouncing out from under his hat. "Sorry...." He muttered. How could he be so clumsy? Especially in the presence of such a...good-looking, man...."Y-Yes, my name is Hickory. You must be Kier Kemp?" He held a hand out in greeting.
Kier nodded, shaking hickory's hand warmly.. "I am indeed, it's very nice to meet you at last" he said, smiling softly, theere was a small blush on his face, nobody ever made Kier blush, and that was that.
Sirah finally caught up to Hickory but slowed his pace when he saw another person. 'A new member!' He thought excitedly when he saw the man's katana but it looked like they were having a "moment" so he kept quiet, stopping silently a few yards behind the two. He leaned against the nearest wall looking the opposite way to see if anyone else had caught up yet.
"Same." He grinned, to show his cat fangs, in a little attempt to impress the newcomer. He dusted himself off, and continued in the same direction. "We're on a little mission. You can come along if you'd like."
Seeing that no one had caught up yet, Sirah decided he'd just trail Hickory and the newcomer so he didn't get lost. He had a bad habit of doing that.. He didn't want to provoke Hickory anymore so he just stayed silent, observing the new member of the group.
Shiro trailed behind Sirah, attempting to keep his distance from the three, having noticed the moment they'd been sharing from afar. He wasn't one to pick fun at it though, at least, not for the moment. Instead, he studied the new member with curious sapphire orbs, though he quietly moved on to look at something else. He hated to stare, partially because everything he stared at someone it appeared that he came off as some kind of creep, especially if he happened to be wearing his usual grin. "I think our victims may have already traveled across the world and back again, with all the time we've allowed to be put to waste," He said absently, his tone coming off more playful, cheery even, than it should have, because despite such a thought having crossed his mind, he longed for nothing more than to waste his time with the people surrounding him, they were much too interesting, much too unique. He quietly allowed the corners of his lips to twitch upward into his normal grin.
Sirah froze at the voice of Shiro. He hadn't realized that anyone had been following him. 'Well he is part cat..' he thought to himself. He looked over his shoulder, smiling at the other boy. "Well Hickory found a new guy." He slowed his pace so that he was walking beside the blue-eyed boy. "And I think he's a little 'distracted'" He emphasized the word distracted with air quotes. "I can't blame him though. The guy isn't ugly." He said absent mindedly as he shoved his hands into the pockets of his hoodie. He didn't really care if people knew he was bisexual, he actually embraced it.
He allowed his smile to grow faintly at the other's acknowledgement of his presence, folding his arms behind his head casually as he walked. He watched the other's air quotes before turning to look forward, eyeing Hickory and the newcomer slowly, as if to take in something he had missed. "He does look distracted, although, you're right, he has reason to be. The newcomer isn't bad looking, no one is. I would say I've landed myself in with an attractive group of people." He shrugged a bit as he moved his arms from behind his head, adjusting his hat before allowing his arms to fall back down at his sides. His tone had been as casual as his actions, coated in the simplicity that normally fled his tone due to his cheerfulness. However, his expression kept up his lively persona, mischief sparking in his eyes, amusement fixated into his smile. Quietly he turned his gaze back to Sirah, as if to signify he was giving him his full attention, as if he had ever lost it. "Do you think it's a good thing that Hickory found a new guy to keep him company?" He paused, glancing forward momentarily before turning to look back at Sirah. "Or do you think it would serve as nothing more than a mere distraction to our job?"
He thought about what Shiro had asked, he looked to Hickory and the newcomer then back at Shiro. "Uh. Well I honestly don't know. Hickory hasn't really told me anything about himself, but he seems pretty caught up in that guy." He fumbled awkwardly through his words. He flicked his head to one side slightly to get his bangs out of his eyes. 'I need to cut these things.' He thought to himself while looking up at his bangs, the highlights in his hair matched the bright green color of his eyes. He had totally forgot he had been talking to someone. Facepalming and blushing a little, "Sorry." He chuckled out.
He glanced towards the other quietly, taking note of his faceplam and blush, though firmly deciding it was best for him not to comment on it, instead smiling at the other's apology. "It's quite alright, in all actuality I zone out quite often myself. I've just mastered the art of making it look like I'm not zoned out, it's very helpful when you don't want to listen to someone." He replied, tilting his hat downward so that way his eyes were covered. In truth, he felt somewhat out of character, for he normally kept on the quite side, sticking to the shadows, observing. However, he found that he enjoyed the feeling that communication brought with it, even if most of his conversations were short lived. "Other times, I'm just thinking too much. So, it happens." He allowed a small silence to filter through the air as he contemplated Sirah's reply to his questions, shifting through all the responses he could give until he finally decided on one. "Well, that is true. Many of us don't know too much about one another. It's like we're strangers, brought together for the same cause, only for different reasons. But, you're, again, right. He does seem to be interested in him, if nothing else. And, that is better than nothing."
Sirah watched as Shiro tilted his hat down. "You really shouldn't cover your eyes.. they're really pretty. Wait. Pretty probably isn't the right word cause you're a guy. Uh. You got the point." His mouth didn't have a filter when it came to flirting. But he couldn't control his flirting either. "When we finish this assignment we should all go out for dinner or something." He said in response to Shiro's last comment. "I mean, I'd actually like to know about everyone in the group. I've been anti-social, you could say, for the last couple of years so I resorted to cats. No I'm not that crazy cat guy." He chuckled out the last sentence. His smile faded a little, shrugging, "I guess I didn't really become a 'people person' until a couple months ago." He noticed he had started rambling again, and punched himself internally.
"I' don't often get compliments concerning my eyes." He replied, though he tilted his head up so his hat wasn't covering them, so he could look at the other. "So, your words, no matter how feminine or masculine, are much appreciated....Although, to be honest, I've always liked green and brown eyes the best. They remind me so much of earthly things, like grass, or the bark of a tree." His last sentence two sentences had a thoughtful tone, and as he spoke his gaze shifted to look at the other's eyes, his smile twitching upward a bit more. "That'll be one of the things I like about you; the color of your eyes." He paused once more, considering the suggestion the other was presenting. He imagined what it would be like for all of them to go out for dinner, to sit down and simply talk, just to get to know one another better. The idea actually appealed to him, partially because he was trying to let go of his quiet nature. "It would be nice, especially since you're trying to let go of being anti-social. Although, to be honest, I'm sure the group can be happy with you, just the way you are." He replied, shoving his hands into his pockets. "I can't say I spend too much of my spare time with animals. To be honest, I'm one of those people with an awful sweet tooth." He replied, allowing a soft chuckle to escape his lips. Despite his large sweet intake, he found it humorous how calm he usually was. He smiled a bit at the other's rambling, though he didn't mind it, he enjoyed listening because with every word he heard he was learning something he hadn't known before.
"Really?" He asked in astonishment. He couldn't believe people never noticed his eyes, they were so bright! Listening to the lightness of the tone of Shiro's voice, he smiled a little. He smiled even brighter when the other had said he liked his eyes. "Thanks!" He said probably a little too high pitched, but he thought nothing of it. He watched his own feet as he listened to Shiro. He smiled lightly when he heard the other being supportive of his decision, then blushed a little at the compliment he was given. He then looked at Shiro with a quirked eyebrow, "You have a thing for sweets?" He asked smiling, almost laughing. "I seriously would've never guessed. You're so... mellow." You could just hear the smile in his voice, even if you weren't looking at him.
"Yes, really." He replied, noting the astonishment that coated the other's tone. "Some people have told me in the past that my eyes looked very plain, almost dull. But that was in the past, when I had a shorter fuse, and the things people said got to me quite easily."He tilted his head upward to look at the sky, staring at the light that illuminated the path they were walking on. He loved the moon, just as much as he loved the way the moon made people's eyes light up. He quietly allowed himself to remember that time he'd just finished talking about, and he found that he still reacted to what people thought of him quite often, even if he didn't want to admit to it. However, even that was alright, since he'd let go of his temper throughout the years. He quickly turned his gaze forwards, staring ahead at nothing in particular, just attempting not to stare at anything for too long, lest he freak somebody out by doing so. "You're welcome....Do you not get compliments on your eyes often? If you don't, shame on them." He replied, smiling in a vivacious fashion as he glanced towards Sirah, noting his quirked eyebrow. "Unfortunately, yes." He allowed himself to pause to join into the laughter, though he quickly quieted down, as if not to cause too much noise. "It's a problem I've been dealing with for years, but that is because I lack commitment to letting go of sweets. Although, it is quite funny seeing the surprised looks on people's faces when they find out....Although, if you don't mind me asking, why cats? Is it because they're fluffy and small?"
Sirah looked up as well, "Nah. I used to have my bangs even longer than this so they would hide my eyes. I thought they were to bright to be honest." He said a bit flatly. He hated his past, everything that's happened and everything he's done. He flicked his hair to one side again as he looked back at Shiro. "I wouldn't consider it a problem really." Trying to get his mind off of the past. Genuinely smiling, "I think it's more of you not wanting to let go of your childhood rather than letting go of sweets." He said a bit lost in his own world again. He quickly snapped back when he heard the word cats. "I like cats because they're quiet and mysterious. I love the hyper, fluffy kittens but then the older cats just seem to have this sense of wisdom to them. They age much quicker than humans so I feel like they know a lot about their world." He explained with a lightness in his voice. Returning the the normal Sirah, "I also love how they won't respond when you do something stupid. Which for me, is most of the time." He said chuckling.
"What's wrong with one's eyes being too bright?" He paused, considering opening his mouth and saying something else, but he stopped himself, finding he had no room to talk, not when he had spent years in his youth loathing on petty things like his eyes and hair. "Perhaps it's both. Or perhaps you're right and I'm just trying to grip onto something I should have let go of years ago." He didn't like remembering his past too often, because most of it was filled with tragedy, with the things he could no longer get back. Just like the sky, everything was so far out of reach. He lost his childhood, and perhaps that what sweets provided him, the satisfaction of feeling like a child, all giddy with excitement over trivial things like a new toy or even the fact that their favorite cartoons were on in the morning while they ate cereal dowsed with sugar. He blinked a moment when he realized he'd been lost in his thoughts, something he often didn't allow himself to do while in a conversation. In realizing how zoned out he was, he also noticed how he had been heading straight for a pole, to which he narrowly dodged, quickly looking at the other, mustering up the ability to keep his expression composed, though that didn't stop his cheeks from flushing a bit at his actions. "Sorry about that. Anyhow, you seem to know a lot about cats....It's quite interesting, I don't often get to hear people tell me of the things they're fond of, or hear the reasoning behind it. It's actually very....nice...Imaging the cat with the air of wisdom around it, or the playful ones that always seem restless and energetic. And it is good that they don't do anything when you do something silly, especially since it makes you feel like they aren't judging you as much....Or rather, teasing you." He allowed a soft, short laugh to escape his lips, turning his gaze forward. "It kind of makes you wonder how animal's brains work, how they see us humans, y'know?....Well, at least it makes me wonder..."
