Following the wolf into the Mansion put Cassiel's nerves on edge, flooding him with a nervous electricity he was well acquainted with. It was a good thing that Hao had heeded his advice and waited outside, it was difficult enough for a group of three to remain silent in their pursuit. The hunting knife in his hand which he'd drawn in exchange of his bow as they entered the manor seemed woefully small as the large wolf unleashed a bone chilling howl. Had it spotted them?
As it turned out the large beast had been aware all along and purposefully led them here, to look upon the transformed Mariella. The wave of confusion he felt from Rina mirrored his own making it difficult to focus. The elf did not particularly enjoy the hunt being turned on him, but at the same time found it difficult to keep his curiosity in check. What was going on here? How had the performer gotten herself into this predicament?
Deliberately sheathing his knife the mage nodded, beckoning the enormous wolf to go on. While he was certainly still suspicious his sentiments echoed those of his companions; better to hear them out then act rashly and bring about unnecessary bloodshed. “We are willing to listen, what of this decision you demand of Ms. Donna?”
