Occupation: Nazi Soldier, Lt.
Personality: Quiet as a child, Johan grew into himself as he matured to adulthood, though still has the reflective pensiveness of an introvert. He didn't speak until he was six, and then to the relief of his mother suddenly broke into full sentences and near-perfect German.
Trained to be rigorously disciplined, he's ascended the ranks remarkably quickly for a young farm boy. He's effective in what he does, efficient, and seemingly merciless when it comes to his work, to the point where he'd be mistaken for enjoying it.
His main weaknesses are his difficulty with getting along with his peers, particular fellow low-ranking soldiers, and his apparent inability to have fun. Deadly serious, he doesn't tend to inspire warmth in others. He himself has never demonstrated an aptitude for comedy or boyish playfulness; or at least, not since he enlisted in the army.
He has a softer side, maybe. His main social outlet is writing letters to his mother, though he's rarely allowed to send them thanks to censorship.
History: A farm boy from birth, he grew up in the quiet countryside helping his father around the farm, and has very limited formal education as a result. He is currently teaching himself to read and write as a result - a fact he is admittedly ashamed of -.

Personality: Amira is kind and gentle, upbeat and loving. Constantly she goes out of her way to care for others and make sure everyone is okay. However, she has a fiery strength about her and will not hesitate to stand up for herself and others coming off as intimidating or vicious. Never has she had a good control over her temper or the ability to really let people help her.
History: After her mother died during child birth of her younger brother, Hiyam, she became the mother of the house hold. Amira helped her clock-making father raise all 4 of her siblings. ( Her history is kind of vital to the story so I am going to leave most of it out of here.)
