So i guess Ceda's move would be to arrest Terrance before he cn do anything stupid... i have no idea what I would rol for that, though
 



@ValkyrieRose you can't just make one roll to arrest him, that's why this is a combat~


I need to know more specifically what you're doing, especially since you're now going against your intent to pull out your gun and chase him.


Ex: Do you want to grab him? Do you want to stand where you are and wait for him to try to escape the bar (delay your turn)? ect.

Yeah, you can do that ( :D ). You don't need to roll for anything in that case.


Just to explain how that breaks down...you normally get an action and a movement and any number of free/reflexive actions.


You'd be using your action to draw the gun (because drawing a weapon takes an action unless you don't mind leaving yourself open).


You don't need to move since you're standing still.


Yelling at him would be a free action.

Hello! My name is Tennessee (Ten for short) and phoenix has offered to let me join this game. I've always wanted to play a RPG like this but never have before so I hope everyone will be patient with me as I learn, and I hope to be able to contribute to the fun :)

-James is just running for his turn, so he's going to move with the crowd towards the outside of the casino.


-Burns is now just in the general area of the bar, but he's not doing anything right now.

alright so with Terrance all woobly and what not want to try and handcuff him, if i'm allowed to

I expected you to do that sort of thing, which is why I showed you the reference book for police.


IE: This is good and you're doing a good job (^.^)


Secondly, using handcuffs requires a Grapple Check and you'd need to have handcuffs (which I can assume you do).


Roll Strength + Brawl - 1 (Defense)


Afterwards Terrance's defense will be reduced to 0.


This is basically you grabbing him, because you need to grab him and hold him before you can put the handcuffs on.

I have Statistics class today with @Ten Fairfield so it should be easy to get him started as long as he's feeling alright. If not, I'll go into Terrance's turn.


Edit: Tennessee is going to be busy until tomorrow, and I have an essay to finish so I'll probably not be able to post until really late, but I am delaying Ten's turn and worst case I'll post Terrence's turn tomorrow.
