Glad you like them! I was really worried!!!

What do you think of this:

When their born, the shaman cuts their fore arm and the parents must lick the wound close and ten open the slits in their forearm (form being born, the same place they bite flesh off of during the mating ceremony) and allow the blood to collect in a bowl, and then feed it to the cub so the family is unified.

Im thinking the cut can be used in the birth, mating and death ceremonies. The 3 stages of life.

When they die the deceased surviving children/mate reopen their scar, allowing it to bleed freely to signify the that the connection has been broken.

For Pups entertainment (Done with Shamans rituals for now)

Pups are tireless, ever playful and curious creatures and their activities reflect that. When a pup isnt bothering older wolves, they will often play amonst themselves. Commonly their games will revolve around some sort of physical activity, whether that be racing to a tree (or in some annoying cases to a certain wolf) or climbing a tree (much to their den mother's fright and anger). Common physical games include "King of the hill" (although sometimes the hill in question is another wolf), "Alpha" (Essential a wrestling tournament to claim the title of "alpha"), and last but not least "Battle for the Stick" (exactly what the name entails).

A non physical activity pups like to take part in is seeing who can annoy/bother the grumpier members of the pack the most.

When pups arent playing, they typically complain about beign bored for a while and then go off to do some exploring and getting themselves into heaps of trouble in the meantime.

The exile- Gra‘ka Mordos

Gra‘ka Mordos, as it is called in the New Tongue, as a ceremony of exile for a Tikaani of such disloyalty that they are hereby cast out into the world. Many believe it to be the most dishonorable punishment. Death is the only thing more severe, but in reality the dishonor of exile is carried for the rest of one‘s life.

The procedure begins with a defiant wolf being referred to as Morda-ah (Mor-da), or shame. One is christened unofficially as a Morda-ah due to the infractions associated with exile (see punishments). The pack confers with itself, and if a majority of wolves decided exile is fit, the Morda-ah is brought forth a council of elders to plead his/her case onto them. If the elders decide that exile is not needed, or that the alpha acts too harshly, they do have the ability to make the punishment less severe (a major infraction.

If the alphas rule in favor of exile, the procedure begins. All exiles are permanent; there is no returning from exile ever. With the exile procedure, the entire pack gathers under the moonlight, while the alpha recites the sentence and crimes for all to hear. The alpha asks the Morda-ah if he/she wishes to make apologies for their misdeeds. Whether they choose to do so or not, it makes no difference. The first part thus begins: denouncing of the tribe. The alpha announces to the pack that the individual bears no rank as of that moment.

Any immediate family to the Morda-ah is given the option to attend, as it may be difficult to deal with such incidences. However, attendance is mandatory for everyone else, including omegas and those of a moderate infraction. The second stage is denouncement of race. The Morda-ah is stripped of being Tikaani, and is rendered as a disgrace to the species. The third stage, immediately afterwards, is the denouncement of identity. The alpha loses their name, and is only referred to as Morda-ah. This third denouncement tends to not be upheld as much, as it has been relaxed in recent years. Speaking indirectly of a Morda-ah can result in using the name of the exiled wolf, but exiled wolves will be verbally addressed as Mord’ah.

With the three denouncements complete, the procession is led to the border of the packs, the black forest on the outside of the pack, just past the border. While the pack members remain within the pack grounds, the Morda-ah is commanded to walk over the line, and to not look back at the pack they chose to betray. Hymns are usually sung by the shaman. If a Morda-ah is to look back, the crowd is permitted to curse out and offend the Morda-ah without limitations, but may NOT physically touch the Morda-ah. The procession remains until the Morda-ah is gone from sight.

The pack rarely sees exile. Thelast individual to be exiled was many years ago, with Tsaghani. But, it is an aged tradition that must be upheld.

Can we make this more brutal by biting off the wolves tail and burning it, signifying that they have renounced their connection to Nasci?

Nah. I thought about that, but I think that the true violence is the denouncement of identity, race, and family.

Yeah but there needs to be something (IMO) to mark the wolf as an outcast.

Maybe they bit their right ear? Maybe take a locke of their fur? Maybe they bite their Osci (Mark, what im calling the scar on their forearm thats used in birth/mate/detah ceremonies)m causing a huge noticeable scar?

Well, exile is rare. The wolf would easily be recognized by others if he tried to return. And, the hope of exile is to seek redemption, but not with those that the Morda'ah has wronged so terribly.

Consider it that the Morda'ah dies within the pack, but may be reborn elsewhere. It is quite merciful, while death is strictly the most unmerciful punishment.

Hmmmm, maybe there is a certain permanent paint that is used to cover their fur in runes.

But you should really tie it in with the other stuff using the Osci (mark)

Its would fit so well :P

But how? I mean, the TIkaani don't have opposable thumbs.
Perhaps the coals are a ceremonious fire? And the alpha commands the Morda'ah in the coal, marking the Osci?
oh

they make clothing without them so they can do this too lol

Perhaps the burn the end of a stick and use their teeth to pick up the non-burned/hot end?
