"He just... he's not smart or handsome but he's rich and I have to marry rich."
"Well.. Wait.. Marry rich..? You have to..? What the hell?"
"My dad. Seems to think if I marry rich I'll keep his legacy going." Angelica sighed. "In his words, 'marry rich and preferably a senator.' Sometimes I wonder if I'm just a pawn in his plan."
Alexander smiled down at her. He didn't remember where the orchestra room was.
"Hell if anything, you should be the senator." Thomas replied, "It's stupid.. You should be able to do whatever you want, guess your dad doesn't think that way, huh?"
She led him to the classroom and kissed him gently before walking inside.
Alexander smiled. He was starting to have his doubts about dating so soon. Maybe this was a bad idea.
"Yeah I guess." Angelica sighed a slightly the bell rang. "What's your next class?"
"US History and Government." He answered, "What about you?"
She held his hand and walked inside. She was so happy that he cared about her.
"Same." Angelica smiled. "Wanna walked with me?" (Jefferson/Angelica? Idk lol)
Alexander smiled at her.
She sat next to him and waited for the teacher to start his spiel.
Alexander tuned up his trumpet and pulled out some scores. The teacher started droning on.
Eliza moved to the corner of the room and began to practice, embarrassed to be with anyone else.
"Same." Angelica smiled. "Wanna walked with me?" (Jefferson/Angelica? Idk lol)
Alexander smiled at her.
"Sure." Thomas replied with a smile, "Besides what you told me, how are you?"
(maybe?)
"Oh, alright. Life's been hectic. How are you?" Angelica asked, strolling off towards class.
"Life is busy. Weird isn't it?" Thomas mumbled, "Life is just.. Im not sure anymore."
Alexander raised an eyebrow but didn't pursue. He understood that sometimes people just need their space.
Eliza began to play but stopped when people walked past her. She sighed softly and then kept playing.
Alexander frowned and sat next Eliza. "Can I hear you play?"
"I really suck." she said softly. "I'm embarrassed."
"I'm sure you're great." Alexander said softly.
She sighed and began to play. She wasn't terrible, but she wasn't great either.
Alexander smiled. "That wasn't bad!" he said softly.
"Yeah, but everyone else here is amazing."
