Naw, She has the pheromones of a Broodmother yes and can be healed and approached by the Aliuu. But to mend, weave and create them she would need to require a way to interact with the multiple individuals inside the super organism. My recommendation is that she'd have to be remade into a full Aliuu to ever have the ability to create and morph other Aliuus. For the moment she can command Hounds of War, Foot soldiers and Heavy Fighters.

Actually, how many Railguns were there originally? The way I see it, if Skaz keeps slaughtering his own soldiers in a bid to destroy them then they shouldn't be much of a problem much later on.

Its not about destroying all of them, just a large enough area to give way to a possible distraction. So after several more are Kadrel Bombed then the Landwalkers will have to be dealt with.

Was it dead already? If so the borg unit wanted to ensure it's destruction as it viewed the dredge as the highest threat. It's also no longer operating at full capacity so it wouldn't think to scan it to life. I mean, the thing did just punch a hole straight through it.
