As soon as you see the Lerna appear, you place your hand on it and teleport with it to Skaia. You quickly teleport back, before it has a chance to wake up.


"Phew... Okay. That's one."





You go over to the computer and target another Lerna.


"One more time."


You focus extremely hard, picturing an area you haven't visited before... You see a great checkerboard plain, with a pearly white castle in the distance.


"Now!"

You repeat the action, summoning a second Lerna.

Ken: Teleport


You teleport the second Lerna to Skaia and return to the lab.


"Phew... Okay. Now you need equipment, right?"

"Yeah. I know that Chryom's is in a box in the Cave of Lernaeus, and you can just find some gear for yourself."

"Well, I could probably use just about anything, really. I wonder what sort of stuff Chryom had..."





You locate the Cave of Lernaeus and Appearify Chryom's box.

You pull out the ANCIENT HIDE ROBE, the LERNAEUS TOOTH PENDANT, and the TITANIC BONE GLAIVE. So this is the stuff he used. Cool.

You add Chryom's gear to your SYLLADEX. You will equip it once you are on Skaia.

Ken: Find gear


You search Alternia for a set of gear that you can use. You come across a corpse near another lerna cave wearing scavenged armor, with two makeshift stone axes nearby. You appearify the armor and axes.


"This should do, right?"


You Captchalogue the BONE PLATES and the two TOMAHAWKS.

"Alright, teleport us to high points near our Lernas, so we can change before we fight."

"Right."





You teleport with Afrien to an area about a mile from one of the Lerna.


"Don't you dare die here, Afrien."

"I wont. See you on the other side of Manhood."

You pat Afrien on the shoulder, then teleport about a mile from the other Lerna.


"I can't believe I let him talk me into doing this..."





You equip the Bone Plate. Miraculously, it's a perfect fit. You equip the Tomahawks to your Universal Specibus, which changes to 2xAxekind to accommodate them.


"No turning back now. I hope he doesn't expect me to drink the blood..."

Afrien : Gear Up


You slide out of your Seer Robes and wear the Ancient Hide Robes, disabling your God Powers. You can still see lifespans, but your flight and power boost are gone. You equip Chryom's Glaive.


Afrien : Slide


You slide down the steep hill, to where your adversary is resting.


"WAKE THE FUCK UP!"

The Lerna stirs and glares at Afrien.

"You know why I'm here."


You slam your Glaive into the ground, giving a piercing roar.

The Lerna roars in response, standing up.

Afrien : Strife


You kick off the ground, going for a head strike to start off the battle.

The Lerna's right head lunges at Afrien, jaws open.

Afrien : Go In


You fly into the Lerna's Right mouth, and stab your Glaive into the roof of its maw. You walk backwards, dragging the weapon across its upper jaw, before pulling back and flipping out of the beasts head. Its Jaws slam together, breaking a few teeth.

The right head roars in agony. The left head rears back and breathes a stream of fire at Afrien.

Afrien : Acrobatics


You flip backwards, evading the stream of fire, before sprinting around the back of the beast. You jump onto its back, running your Glaive around its back, piercing its hide, in an X shaped pattern.

The Lerna's middle head spins around and bites at Afrien.

Afrien : Kick


You try to kick at its head, but it successfully chomps on your foot.


"FUCK!"


You spin your Glaive around and thrust downwards into its head as hard as possible.

The middle head's skull is broken by the attack. It falls onto the Lerna's back, limp. The other two heads roar and breathe fire at Afrien.
