Kaiden looked at the smile on his dad's face and then at his papa's face. Josh simply grinned as well, looking at them and chuckled softly while Kai shifted in his seat. "Y- Yeah, we're going to head out now.." Kai said, getting up from his seat. "C- Come on Theo." Kaiden said grabbing his tray and looked at his dad again, seeing that smile and shook his head. He was both curious as to what the military would do the AWOL soldiers but he also didn't want to know either. Kai took his tray, nudged Theo's arm and headed to drop his tray off.​

Theo stared at these two adults a moment longer, decided that it was highly unnerving how they were like that, and then stood with Kai. “Yep, we’re going now. This is us, leaving with permission. Going literally anywhere else.” As he began to leave, he added, “In the Stadium! Promise. No absent without leave for us.” He backed away and then bounded towards Kai to drop off his tray as well. “Okay, so is it just me or now that your dads have had their heart to heart or whatever, they’re like scary together? Oh my god, is this how they were before?”​

Kaiden looked back at his parents and shook his head, nope. He headed towards the tray drop of and swallowed hard. "I think they did get scarier, together. I don't know if I like this." Kai said quietly, looking back at them and then at Theo. "Let's go to my room. I'm not super into finding out what Dad was talking about what the soldiers would do to those that were AWOL." Kai admitted as he dropped his tray off. "If this is how they were before, I'm kind of nervous about how they'll be now that they're together again."​

Theo, much like a child trying to get away with something, kept looking back at the two older men to see what they were doing. Eating it looked like. Maybe talking about something. Plotting he thought. They were for sure plotting. And Hayden was for sure laughing. That had to have been at them. Theo nodded and hurried through the cafeteria to leave. “Yeah, back to your room for sure. Away from the Nightmare Duo.” Hayden and Josh had not always been the most cohesive pair, and more recently they had been. If that was them with problems, talking through them and becoming a better pair was something that Theo wanted in theory. Unless that meant that they really couldn’t get away with anything. How were they going to enact this genius plan of being buddies with their Seraphite friends? That was really what was worrying him. If Josh and Hayden were working like two halves of the same whole, which was beautiful of course, then when they were under Josh’s reign, this was going to get so much harder.​

Kaiden looked at his parents and definitely didn't want to know what they were up to. He saw his dad laughing and Josh was smirking, nope. He nodded, hearing Theo's words and after he dumped his tray and put it away, hurried to the doors with Theo. "I love my parents but I agree completely." Kai agreed, pulling the door open and headed out of the cafeteria. Getting to seeing their Seraphite friends wasn't going to be easy with the fact that his fathers were much more cohesive now. "So.. I think we need to talk about our plan if that's what we're going to have to work around." Kaiden said as they headed towards his room.​

Theo ran slightly ahead, one to get away from the Terrible Two faster and two to move since his legs needed that, and in order to continue the conversation with Kai, he spun around and jogged backwards as they moved through the halls. He got a couple of “Hey!” and “Watch where you’re going!” as well as “THEO!” remarks as they moved, but it was fine. He knew how to get back to Kai’s room without seeing where he was going. Mostly. “Yeah, I don’t know how we are going to do this now. Once we are out there again, we are going to have to be super careful. I was really banking on you papa not noticing any potential suspicious actions such as running off to leave notes. Though, I think it could still work. Somehow.”​
