However, if any of go overboard/cross boundaries, I'll step in.

Personally, I see them as separate (even if they were based on the same concept). But then, I also see Faf as a dwarf^^

A little tip for GMing Fate RPs, when you say "no canon" it should be limited to "no fate characters". Because you can do many different interpretations of the same person. I myself have played legendary figures that have been in Fate, but they were my own takes and my own characters. Because they've shoved so many servants into fate they scrape the bottom of the barrel with servants like authors and scientists. If you take the route of "no historical figures that have ever been in fate" then it's essentially not possible to make a servant rofl.

Also, the more time goes on the more I wish I had made my Saber. But then I couldn't be Vita, but all this talk of servant ideas still makes me wanna do my saber again since I never got to do anything with em last time.

If/when you do let me know! I've got a whole cast of Servants to throw at you. A fairly unknown Saber, an Archer who's double summoned as Gunner, a cool Lancer, a strange Rider, a plot-twisting Caster, and a pitiable Assassin. I've even got a Ruler if you need/want one.
