Fandom Fate/Drifters ooc

To me it helps to choose someone I'm interested in the first place, both in terms of making it more sustainable, and also because I'll then be inclined to already know and learn more about them through research.
I just decide which class and randomly think of a random guy from the top of my head.

When wolf asked for a rider, I just looked at his username and came up with some random crap I remembered from God of War 4.

Speaking of Rider, how has nobody figured it out? I thought that the fact that he can potentially be a Gatekeeper servant and the fact he's from Helheim is a dead giveaway.

Anyhoo, if anyone wants to guess, just shoot.

Well that would be Fenrir then (judging by the earlier conversations about Riders being legendary animals), but I don't recall him being a gatekeeper at any point.

Genderswaped Hel

Also, Garm and Fenrir are different entities, but alot of people just assume they are the same because there is barely anything on Garm.

Nah, rather they're assumed to be one and the same because there's a lot of correlation between them. Breaking free of their chains at ragnarok, fighting Tyre, and things like that. Probably what happened was that Fenrir and Garm are just two versions of the same god from different tribes. Like how the Romans and the Greeks shared similar dieties with slight differences.

Hmm, it gets a bit iffy.

For example, Siegfried and Sigurd are supposedly the same people, but they are separate servants in Fate. There are some differences between Garm and Fenrir, for example, Garm is titled 'The Blood-Stained Guardian of Hel's Gate', his role is kind of like Cerberus. Mythology gets a bit iffy like that at times. Prince_Wolf literally lived in Norway for like 10 years, I'm just going to assume he's right, lol.

But yes, Fenrir's breaking loose will be followed by his devouring of the cosmos, while Garm's howl will signify breaking his chains and the beginning of Ragnarok. Garm could also very possibly be the nameless Hound of Hel. At this point, it's anyone's guess. :/

Is it too late to make my corporate guy?

Probably but let’s ask anyway. QuirkyAngel QuirkyAngel

Yes it's too late. Unless you're willing to play a civilian.

The other option is if cojemo cojemo would rather have a player master than an npc one. In which case, I'll work something out.

If Garm is indeed Fenrir, then Saber of Light would dislike him more than she already does. Fenrir ate Odin after all =P

his devouring of the cosmos,

Basically Odin.

That would be fine because it fits all the criteria. It's a real person who did great deeds, and thus could be in the throne of heroes. The Disney embellishments are no different than Vlad and Dracula. Her powers and abilities are warped by the perception of people, and I'd say 99% of people know more about the disney version than the real one. So that would be an example of an acceptable servant, whereas as you said, Slenderman would be acceptable in like another 100 years when it's origins are more obscure.

A seal of approval from one so strict pleases me greatly.

Makes sense.

I find the act of making a Servant very culture broadening. I end up researching heroes/historical figures that would've have never cared for or considered before.
