Okay, I have no idea who is Tenshi Hinara and Google isn't helping here.

Because when you really come down to it, writers are basically gods of their own creations. If two writers don't want their characters to lose, then they will never lose, but the fight will go on forever. You can hardly call that a victory.

Unryu sprinted towards Ayla, dragging a few players with him as he passed them. Once everyone was grouped together, Unryu activated Toughened Vitality, increasing everyone's max health by 5%. Next, he decided to try and explode the ball above them, or at least weaken it. He cupped his hands together at his side gathered mana, concentrating it into a condensed sphere, saying for effect, "Kaaaaahmeeeeehhh.... Haaaaameeeeeeh.... HAAAAAAAA". Unryu screamed as he let loose a powerful meteor of mana with his palms stretched forward. The mana ball, was propelled with great force and speed straight for the center of the glitching sphere of dark energy. He then took a crouching stance and tensed his muscles, the spirit of a rhinoceros taking shape above his body. He spoke in a very friendly tone, "I'm Unryu by the way. Alistair asked me to keep an eye on you guys. I would suggest taking any defensive kind of stance or something, or just prepare for impact."

did you just incorporate a DBZ reference with that attack? you... you are a genius! *is gonna start trying to reference stuff now*

Yeah, Mairi has a crystal though the thing is the barrier can't be complete unless the crystal within the minotaur is retrieved as well. It's kinda like a dual quest if you will. Though I believe we all spoke of this before, Mairi will be able to create the crystal and use it on the barrier but the quest cannot be complete without two crystals present. Hence is why Group A is going out to retrieve the other crystal. Though neither parties knew that they needed the other.
