A sigh escapes her lips because she knows she has to answer anyways. "To take care care of pops and my own needs. Also to fund my families research. Since my cousins Mist and Sonter are incapable of doing shit right." Sierra was slightly irate with the both of them. She decides to put that behind her and focus on the game. Alpha sat in silence as he thought of how to describe Jackie. "She's short. And her temper is fiery. She can be quite the bitch, but she is also very loyal. She's a very good friend."

Apex kept shifting in and out of consciousness. That was until she stayed unconscious during a shift. She wasn't hearing things since she was actually asleep.

I'm just gonna cut to the chase here, I'm sorry for what I did to the guild, from leaving Dragon's Roar in the first place to betraying it later on. I should've known better than that... so yeah. Great talk." His words didn't sound convincing but he was truly sorry, he just didn't know if anybody was listening.

"Shoot their engines for me while you answer for me. One shot should be enough per car. Since these aren't normal bullets."

Alpha frowned. "I'll give you names later. Maybe." When Sierra handed him the gunblade, he looked at it skeptically. Pointing it at the police, he fired. The shot completely missed. "Fuck this," he growled, stretching his power out towards the police cars. Simultaneously, all of the the cars had their engines overheat and explode.

Alpha frowned. "I'll give you names later. Maybe." When Sierra handed him the gunblade, he looked at it skeptically. Pointing it at the police, he fired. The shot completely missed. "Fuck this," he growled, stretching his power out towards the police cars. Simultaneously, all of the the cars had their engines overheat and explode.

"Well that worked." She takes the gunblade and stuffs it in her magic bag. "We'll travel for a couple more hours but we need to find a place to rest for the night."

"My brother is dead and I only have Dragon's Roar to blame. Even if they're destroyed I won't have anything else left in life. I need to find purpose beyond revenge. I was hoping you could help with that."

The attendants return, placing the bucket of water on the floor and sticking to the edges of the cell, hushed as they listen to the woman speak, "You should think more carefully on this," She says, her eyes narrowing further, "This isn't a simple matter of you learning a brand new magic and walking away more powerful. I am a necromance. Perhaps Necromancy will give you purpose, but I guarantee that Heaven will have no place for you there once you pass from this life to the next, and you will be damned to Hell or some other Purgatory," She walks closer, until she's looking down at Raven, "This isn't a game; this will not be an easy or safe training. The physical and magical training to properly use this magic to it's fullest potential will kill you if you are not strong enough to withstand it. The mental trials will break you if you are not resilient. I've had 24 apprentices in the past, and all but two have died in the Trials, and the last two died in their Pledge. I will explain those terms later," Despite her apparently malevolent nature, she seems to be taking this very seriously, and she tilts her head to the side, holding her tattooed palm out to Raven. "If you are willing, take my hand, and your testing to become my apprentice will begin."

The founder of the Dark Arts gets out of her chair and smiles at her 'daughter'. "I've found use for you. Let's go.... I have a base set up on the moon. That's where the real secrets in the universe are... I'm thinking about bringing along that woman and my apprentice soon." The founder touches Lilith's shoulder, making the symbols on their bodies glow as they disappear and end up in a room. "Welcome to the moon. A place where I can work and disrespect Hekate at the same time. I'm surprised on why its taking my members so long to gather key elements to seal up the deity realm. Once that's done... the real gift shall appear." The founder picks up several sheets of paper from her desk. One was labeled The Deity Realm's Shadow.


Julie ends up landing in front of a house in Nova Scotia, Canada. She makes sure everyone gets off of her back before exiting dragon form and catching the the cocoon. "Come on... we need to stop by here first." Julie approaches the door and looks back towards the others. "Stay here, I'll open the door." Julie phases through the door holding the cocoon. Julie makes sure to unlock and open the door once she's on the inside. "Felix! We have an emergency!"


Apex was starting to slowly wake up again. She was becoming restless and wasn't in a deep sleep anymore. Her memories were coming back to her completely. The cocoon itself was getting a lot softer.

They didn't seem to be directly targeting them much though, it was as if Dragon's Roar was just a minor obstacle or hindrance that could wait while the Dark Arts put their plans into motion.

She has probably overlooked their importance, but they both contain the ability, if used correctly, to unleash hell on earth, or the power to stop the entirety of the Dark Arts. To obtain them, I require Julianne's location. As such, instead of me showing you, I will see what instinctive knowledge you bear and the bounds of your... creativity, let's say. Force the information from this girl in anyway you see fit to do so. You have fifteen minutes."

A tall, red-haired man sits on a couch within the house, not seeming overly stressed by Julie screaming about an emergency. He looks over to her, acid green eyes reflecting the light oddly. "Hey, Jules. Thanks for breaking into my house again, because you know how much I just love it when you violate my privacy like that. Weren't done yelling since the last time? Well, I'm prepped and ready for you to bitch about-" He stops when he notices the guild members coming in through the door, but stands when he spots the cocoon. "So this is the guild. Pleasure to meet you, despite the fact you've brought a psycho into my house; Isabel has spoken highly of most of you. You guys can come in," He gestures to the house, then catches himself, having forgotten to actually introduce, "Call me Felix."
