Bruce looked at her a bit oddly, he didn't ask for a reward from Grimm. Or was that part directed at Jackie? Couldn't hurt to ask "hold on, what was that part you said about a reward from Grimm?"

"I did?" He remembered back at the guild (along with me) just before he rampaged through. "Oh yeah, I guess I did. Maybe I want something else though, I already have plenty of money. What else could you guys offer me? Other than the satisfaction of seeing the Dark Arts destroyed of course."

The medics were going to take off a section of the cocoon to hook Isabel up to a ventilator, for now they were using a resuscitation until it was ready.

"That's actually... really badass." He simply undid Jackie's grip on her with some effort and set her down. "But I don't live in Olympus so I wouldn't get to see it all the time, there's no point to a statue of myself if I have to make a trip to see the statue. Anything else?"

Isaac began to pace back and forth with a worried look on his face. He just wanted to help yet they kicked him out which made him mad, but he knew if he was in there he'd just be in the way, which also made him mad. Isaac didn't know what else to do so he waited for Krios to tell him how everything went.

Hekate seemed happy to be back on the ground. "Extended lifespan?"

"Hmm, I actually wouldn't mind that... Can you keep my soul from being owned by a sadistic little girl when I die?"

Krios exits the room and looks up from his screen. "We've managed to get an opening in the cocoon but didn't take it off all the way. She's relying on a ventilator to breath. The medics are still at work but it's not as bad as it was before. I suggest you stay out until they say so."

"Thank you, how we're you able to tell she wasn't breathing?" Isaac asked letting out a sigh of relief.

Bruce walks along her, letting out a sigh of relief when she said she could. "I mean, I never really planned that out. I've planned out what I'm doing when I fully retire but not where I'm going when I die. I always thought I'd be going to hell though."

Tereus listened to Hekate's story and the situation they found themselves in, the enemy this time was a powerful witch with powers that even rivaled a goddess. He watched as multiple people leave mainly after Jackie who had hauled of the young goddess in a very arggresive manner. He would have done something but decided against it when he saw Bruce go after her. He knew Bruce was competent and honestly had a better connection with Jackie than he did and was thus better suited to handle her temper. He instead stayed to engage those who remained and brainstorm a possible plane of action. "So she is clearly a powerful opponent, that means we need to be on our A-game at all times. Has anyone done any training since this began, it would be beneficial to polish up your skills while there's a lull in the storm. I suggest working on new skills in order to hit the opponent with something they haven't accounted for-!" Tereus stopped abruptly when he sensed something wrong he stood feeling out the source he excused himself and unknowingly headed towards the medical wing. The hairs on the back of his neck raised as the uneasy feeling became one of dread, it wasn't long until Isaac and Krios came into sight, sensing some urgency in Isaac he immediately spoke, "What's wrong?"

"Isabel wasn't breathing so they had to remove a piece of the cocoon so they could hook her up to a ventilator so she could breathe,. Don't worry she's fine now, I was on my way to tell everybody what happened." Isaac said with a little more enthusiasm than he had when he talked with Krios.

Tereus' face to on a worried look despite the efforts of Isaac to ease him. Looking to Krios he wanted to know more mainly how that could happen, under the impression that she was secure in the egg, "What caused it, is there anything she needs?"

"So I'll just talk to him next time I get the chance then. Sounds good to me. I think he still owes me for turning me into a cupcake and ruining my muffin button."

Hekate didn't answer since she wasn't required to. Once she reaches the dining room she notices even more members not being there. "Hmm..."

"Well she's run out of her own mana she had conserved to take care of every single need she has in the fight against Bruce. She's been unable to get a separate and permanent source that generates its own mana. The cocoon recently ran out of its mana and because of this she wasn't getting no oxygen. She wasn't breathing on her own either so we had to use a ventilator. I'm keeping check on her blood pressure and brain activity. Both aren't too high. Which is bad for the second part. The medics still need time to work."

The hooded woman was sitting back in the base, watching the news on her crystal ball. America has been building up alliances and has declared war on Germany. The hooded woman had completed her task, all she had to do was kill everyone in the White House. Get captured and tortured for answers only to refuse the first couple times. Then admit Germany had sent her. As planned several other Dark Arts members 'persuaded' the leader of Germany to sign papers which gives Germany full ownership to the Dark Arts. America is known to just jump in any war or battle, now with all of this happening. Especially with which country it is, they would definitely wage a new world war that would include many supernatural beings as well. The documents Germany signed really no longer mattered afterwards so Germany still gets nothing out of it. "Step one is complete. Step two is in play." The hooded woman gets up and looks out the window, all she could see was icy water and fish. "It's time for the world to hate Dragon's Roar."

Jackie doesn't resist to Bruce removing her hands off Hekate, simply allowing him to unfurl her fingers from around the girl's collars, and even when they walk away from her, she stays as she was, staring at the wall with a Hekate-sized gap between her and the marble stone. She flexes her hand a few time, her brows furrowed in worry at the amount of corruption that had gathered there without her knowledge or will. She had been angry, sure, but not angry enough to lose hold on it. "They really think it's about the drugs, don't they? That it's not about them?" She shakes her head a bit as the last of the corruption dissipates more evenly through her body as she starts to walk through the halls, almost aimlessly. After a while of walking, she spots Krios, Isaac, and Tereus. She frowns at this, noticing that they stood near what was some sort of med-wing, and heads over. She addresses Krios, "What's going on, C-3P0?"
 



Chai, after only a second of going into shock that the stand-offish Julianne van Fenrir was hugging her, wraps her arms around Julie as well, patting her hair, "Good. But I don't think your grandma would let you shirk responsibility, even in the afterlife," She laughs a bit, then acknowledges the fact Julie was probably burying her head in Chai's shoulder to hide the fact she's crying, "It's okay, you know. To cry. I'm not going to make fun of you for crying or anything; I know you and your grandmother were close. Even without reading that letter, I know your thought the world of both you and your sister. She never shut up about you and your sister, always like 'oh, Witch Isabel shifted for the first time, her form resembles mine, in terms of colour and structure,' or 'Julie killed a man in less than five seconds. The head rolled right off his shoulders, Chai, you should have seen it.' She was really, really proud of you both."

Krios looks up at Jackie. "Isabels cocoon ran out of mana. She stopped breathing on her own a while ago but the cocoon was helping her with that. Now that the cocoon is powerless she lacks oxygen and she cannot breath on her own even if she tried. The medics have her on a ventilator, we had to remove the part of the cocoon that covered her upper body. Her blood pressure is low... so is her brain activity. The cocoon was her best chance but it's out of mana after using it up in the fight against Bruce. This is an alternative but it's not a good one... and it won't last for long." Krios actually tried to give news with more sympathy. He assumed Jackie knew what he was implying in his last sentence.


Julie starts to wail on Chai's shoulder. As if that talk just made everything worse.

She doesn't bother to listen for the answer, looking to her hands as she thinks. If she remembered right, when Sonter removed part of Sanctum from her, she had been partially unhindered, and Sanctum had given him a boost of power. Julie still holds on to Chai, crying her eyes out. It didn't seem like Chai was going anywhere for a very long time.
