Doctor....Who? [CLOSED]

Ash took his hand with her own shaky one, standing quietly. She looked to the feline and whimpered softly. She shakily took a step back, giving his hand a small tug, trying to get him to leave with her. She was ignoring the fact that the blood was dripping down her wrists, clearly wanting to just leave

"Mmm? Oh yes, we can leave." Pulling a cell phone from his pocket, he began to compose what looked like a text message before closing it. "Now we can really leave. Allons-y?"

Allowing himself to be dragged by the woman, he made his way up the stairs and out of the house. Moments later, a small spaceship appeared, parking on the front lawn of the house. An anthropomorphic rhinoceros stepped out, and made his way inside.

"All right then! Now onto the bigger problem! Right then... Hmm... I still have that feeling."

"B-Bigger problem?" Ash whimpered softly, grumbling at her wrists and instinctively licking at the blood to try and get rid of it, scowling when it was only replaced. She huffed, giving up and looking at the Doctor

"Yes, yes. A bigger problem, a much bigger problem. Oh! You're still injured, right. Let's have you fixed up, then we can worry about the problem." Gesturing for the woman to follow, he jogged towards his TARDIS.

The police box was in the middle of a sidewalk, and would have obstructed normal passage had anyone been using it. Jogging up to the doors, the Doctor then backpedaled facing Ash with a grin, "You're gonna love this!" Pushing open the doors, the Doctor grinned like a kid in a candy store, gesturing for Ash to take a step inside.

Ash blinked at him in confusion, wondering what was so exciting about a phone box. She lowered her head, and shook it, padding inside. Once inside though, she blinked, looking up and around. She looked back at the door, then at the Doctor, before looking about again

With a grin the Doctor spoke, "Brilliant, isn't it?" Stepping inside he gestured around, every inch of his form glowing, "This is a TARDIS~ What do you think?"

Ash just blinked at him, "Its....wow." was her only words, looking at him, "I'm not....hallucinating right?" She asked him warily, as if to make sure she wa actually seeing this

Letting out a chuckle the Doctor shook his head, "No no, you're not hallucinating. Though I'm glad you asked, especially with all of the strange things happening of late... Well then, I apologize for the mess." Gesturing towards his console, it could be noted that there were burn marks and wires scattered throughout. "So! To patch you up. Let's see..." Disappearing into the TARDIS for a few moments, the Doctor returned with some gauze and a bottle of antiseptic, "This should do the trick. I apologize for not owning nano-bots. I should really pick some up someday, they would be quite handy." With a smile, the Doctor offered to dress Ash's wound.

Ash continued to gaze about curiously, noting the burn marks and the scattered wires and wondering what had caused them. Frowning, she turned back to the Doctor as he reappeared, tilting her head at the mention of nano-bots. She accepted the offer quietly, looking to her wrists with a huff

With a warm smile, the Doctor began to wrap the girl's wrist with antiseptic-soaked bandages. After a few moments, he had finished, "There! Much better." Looking around the room briefly, his eyes then returned to Ash's odd ones, "This isn't too overwhelming for you, is it? Well, we can head back outside for a while anyway, I need to figure out the source of these readings..."

Ash hissed softly in pain as the antiseptic on the bandages soaked into the wounds on her wrists, but sighed softly in relief when he finished. She blinked at him and shook her head, "Its fine. Its....cool" She said with a small smile, looking about. She looked at him again, "What exactly are we looking for?"

"Well... that's the question. I'm not sure. See, my spaceshipβ€” " Gesturing around the TARDIS interior he continued, "β€”is actually a time machine. It functions normally... well, usually. However, it detected a time anomalyβ€”well, I can feel it as well. Essentially, what should be happening, is not. Someone, or something is disrupting the proper flow of time."

Ash frowned quietly, "I'm guessing you don't know who?" She asked, looking at him. She didn't seem very surprised at what he had just told her, she'd seen enough weird things that day to make it seem normal. She frowned quietly, looking around the Tardis and humming softly as she thought

The Doctor shook his head, letting out a dejected sigh, "I'm afraid not. Not many in the universe could cause such a disturbanceβ€”really only a time-aware species could, but not every member has that capability, but it may not even be a someone... so really, that knowledge does not narrow down the options. I'm rambling aren't I?" With a quizzical expression on his face, the Doctor stared intently at Ash, "What do you think?"

Ash looked at him, "If the species is time aware....and this is a time machine...wouldn't they of sensed it?" She asked, looking up at him with a frown. She didn't mind him rambling, it gave her the information that was needed to try and help him work it out, but she had absolutely no clue currently

"Very good! Yes, yes they could, which is why I had it out of sync one secondβ€”but! Ooooooooo." Furrowing his brows, he contemplated for a moment, "It's not now. And we're in danger. Well, of course if they're looking for us, that is. If they're not.... wellllll..." Licking his lips he continued, "Then we're fine. Well, not fine...."

Ash raised an eyebrow at his rambling, "Couldn't we....lure them here?" She asked, tilting her head, "You know, instead of searching the whole of Earth for them?" She asked, watching him with her oddly coloured eyes

"We could... that would be very dangerous though. Well, unless we've already lured them here... Actually... before you stepped into the TARDIS, did you feel that sensation? The one of being watched?"

Ash blinked at him, "yeah....and outside the cat...persons place..." She replied, "Did you?" She asked softly, glancing warily toward the Tardis doors with a frown

"I did. It was odd, because usually people do not stare that intently at me. Actually there's a reason for that!" Pulling out his TARDIS key, he waved it in front of Ash's face; perhaps a bit too close for her comfort. "This! If you wear this, you're essentially invisible. It's difficult to explain. Well... I guess I wasn't wearing it... you saw me, after all, but I certainly meant to wear it... Not wearing it right now could be incredibly dangerous. Here, you should have one." Pulling string from his seemingly bottomless pockets, he wrapped it around the key in a necklace-like fashion. Presenting it to Ash, the Doctor grinned.

Ash gently took it, running her thumb gently over the key, before quietly placing it around her neck, looking at him. She smiled slightly, happy that she had a friend

Smiling, the Doctor spoke, "It looks nice on you! You know, they really should make key jewelry. It's quite fashionable. Or maybe they do?" Furrowing his brows, and catching himself mid-ramble, he moved towards the door, "I will not hide myself, but if I'm in trouble I want you to run. With that around your neck, you'll be safe."

Ash followed him, a small giggle escaping her, "I've never seen key jewellery" She replied, then sighed, "But.." She mumbled in protest of his last sentence

The Doctor's expression darkened, as he averted his gaze from Ash, "Hopefully that won't happen. All right now, where were we? Yes! Stalkers. Let's find them." Stepping out of the TARDIS, the Doctor gestured for Ash to follow. Turning towards the park, the Doctor frowned, "I wonder if they think this is a game..."

"A game?" Ash asked, "Like....Like childen play?" She continued, "Or a insane game?" She looked at him, tilting her head. Children and insanity were two different things. Children could be reasoned with, but she wasn't sure how far an insane alien would go
