Doctor....Who? [CLOSED]

"Someone is staring at me." The Doctor's eyes darted everywhere, yet never found the source of who or what was looking at him. Letting out a sigh, the Doctor activated his sonic screwdriver once more; the soothing sound of sonic currents filled the area. "All right, the signal is coming from inside this house…" Using the screwdriver to unlock the door, the Doctor wearily made his way inside the dark home. "Hello~? Is anyone home?"

Ash curiously followed after him, feeling the same crawling feeling of someone watching her. She watched him silently, and then followed him inside the dark house, letting her eyes adjust

"I wish I had a torch. Ah well…" Adjusting his sonic slightly, he activated it once more this time it emitted slightly more light than normal. "It isn't bright enough; are you able to find a switch?"

Ash ran her fingers over the wall with a quiet nod to him. Letting out a soft noise of victory, she flicked a switch, closing her eyes as the lights flickered on, the sudden light hurting her eyes

"Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant." Gesturing around the Doctor grinned, "Now that I'm able to see…" Making his way down into a basement, the Doctor heard the soft cries of cats. Furrowing his brows, he counted at least ten individual voices that second. Once fully into the basement, he was able to see that the cats were hooked up to some sort of shearing device. "They're… harvesting fur? Really? I was expecting something far more exciting. Truthfully, I was hoping they were powering some rudimentary spaceship using static electricity, or… I don't know something! And actually, that begs the question. Why…?"

Ash followed him, wondering absently why he was so amazed by the light. She shook her head, telling herself not to question the mans actions as she followed him down to the basement. Hearing the cats, and then seeing them, her eyes widened and she gave a soft noise of surprise. She didn't spend time wondering what the devices were, instead going to a cat and trying to get it free

A sinister, disembodied voice filled the room. "You wish to know why I'm doing this? For someone seemingly so clever, you aren't very intelligent."

With scoff, the Doctor called out, "No, I'm actually quite intelligent. Soooo.... You're either over estimating my sphere of knowledge or...." Quickly, the Doctor tossed the Sonic towards Ash, "Point and think."

The voice hissed in irritation, "You think you can free them? That would require having technology not found on this planet!"

Ash caught it, her eyes filled with panic for the cats, and what could happen to the two humanoids if the voice got hold of them. She pointed the screwdriver, thinking hard and grinned as it freed the cat she had been pointing at. She then did the same to each of the cats, gently coaxing them toward the door, her own hair flicking about like a cats tail as she moved.

"WHAT?! How dare you. How DARE you!"

The voice then went quiet, but thumping could be heard upstairs.

Turning towards Ash the Doctor called out, "There's a large machine towards that back wall; that needs to be destroyed too."

Ash gave a happy grin and nodded, then disappeared toward the back wall, humming softly to herself as she looked for the machine. She needn't of bothered, as the thing was big enough to be disguised as the wall. She pointed the screwdriver, thinking

Sparks shot from the center of the machine, and it quickly died. The excited smile that had just crossed the Doctor's face faded when he heard an angry hiss coming from the stairwell. Followed by the lights being switched off. With a thud, whoever was after them had just landed before them.

"Ash, to me." Reaching out his hand, he felt blindly for her.

Ash froze at the hiss and flinched as the lights were switched off, the darkness engulfing the figures. She gave a soft whimper, and reached out, searching for him. Finding his hand, she gripped it tightly with her own, scared

Taking her hand, the Doctor creased his brow, staring into the void. "Attack us, and you'll regret it. What are you then?"

The feminine voice replied in a raspy hiss, "I am the bell which tolls your doom. You disrupted the harvesting, and now you will pay."

The Doctor laughed, "You still did not answer my question. What. Are. You."

Ignoring the Doctor's question, the figure leapt towards the group, focused on separating Ash from the Doctor, and attempting to pin her down.

Ash gave a scared squeak as she left herself be leapt upon, her hand slipping from the Doctors as she felt something heavy land upon her thin body as she hit the cold floor below her. She whimpered, thrashing to try and escape, but only really succeeding in tiring herself

Feeling his grasp slip, the Doctor cried out, "Ash!!!"

Now that she was closer, Ash would be able to make out certain details; namely that whatever was on her seemed--and felt--humanoid, but her face was clearly feline.

"T-Thats creepy" Ash growled, trying to sound unafraid, when in reality her voice was so quiet it could barely be heard, and there was a clear shudder in her voice as she stared up at the feline like creature

The feline's lips twisted into a toothy grin, "I wonder if human hide would fetch a pretty penny~ I'm sure you would make a lovely couch."

Pulling out his sonic screwdriver, he pointed it at the feline, "Let her go."

With a laugh she replied, "Or else what? My ears may be sensitive, but your device cannot do any harm."

Keeping a firm grip on his sonic he replied, "I'll report you to the Shadow Proclamation. It's illegal to harvest from a Level 5 Planet, but you knew that, didn't you?"

Ash just stayed as still as possible, silent tears of fear running down her pale cheeks. She had no idea what would happen, but she could feel the claws of the creature dig into her wrists from where it was holding her down

The feline growled, tightening her hold on Ash, "If you want to keep your friend, you will leave this place."

Letting out a sigh the Doctor spoke, "You wouldn't..."

Spitting at Ash the feline roared, "I would!"

"Let her go, and leave this planet IMMEDIATELY."

Ash whimpered rather loudly as the grip was tightened, the claws digging deeper into her arms. She gave a frightened sob, closing her eyes tightly, as if waiting for the cat to strike her

Hissing, the feline jumped from Ash, launching towards the Doctor. Side stepping the feline he aimed his sonic upwards. The light fixture came undone, and came crashing down, striking the feline and rendering her unconscious.

The Doctor waited a few moments to see if she were unconscious before rushing to Ash. Kneeling over her he spoke, "Are you all right?" Using his screwdriver, he began to scan her body.

Ash shakily sat up, watching the two and giving a sigh of relief as the feline went down. Her body shook, looking up at him as he came close, " 'm fine" she whimpered, ignoring her bleeding wrists as she breathed heavily, getting over the panic of almost dying

With a reassuring smile, the Doctor spoke, "I'm glad. We can patch up your wrists after we're done here." Offering a hand to the girl, he looked back at the fallen feline, "She's out cold. I'll contact the Shadow Proclamation, and they should be able to apprehend her."
