"Hold on." Piper grabbed his jacket and jerked him back in front of her as he passed. She leered at Kyuma. "And what have you been up to?" She glanced at Liliana. "As ready as possible given the situation." She then looked back at Kyuma, cold and waiting for his response.

@Kalin Scarlet

Galleytrot stayed behind, growling irritably. The sooner they were out of here, the better.

"Preparing for battle, ma'am. We're about to have some company that needs to get shown the door, if I've been paying proper attention to everything today." Kyuma said, looking at her with a serious expression.

She nodded. "So long as you haven't exhausted yourself," she told him. "I don't want you in the front line, got it? It's no place for a new recruit. Not now. Go get your weapons ready."

Kyuma smirked "Only weapon I need right here." he said, raising his balance breaker into view before moving to meet with Jumil. "Oh, and you can buy me a drink when this is all over! Soda or Iced coffee is just fine with me!"

Piper released him. "Watch for the smoke." She turned back to Liliana. "Okay. Anywhere in particular you want to help?" She asked. She paused, considering how well the Valkyrie could do in the department.

Sam sensed enemies coming from behind. "Galleytrot, heads up. 6 o'clock."

An enemy ran up to them from the front and slashed. Sam grabbed the bladed end of the sword, suffering deep cuts, but stopping the sword. He weaved hand signs with his free hand, and after about 10 signs used a 2-part wind spell. It took far longer with 1 hand than with 2. The first part blew him back, while the second part was the huge razor wind blast that obliterated everything in his path, taking down both him and 3 more down the hall.

"I'm sensing a lower amount of magic up ahead, lower over a larger area, but extremely concentrated in a small area. Either it's the phylactery, or it's something else."

@Sleipnir

Galleytrot turned sharply, a Draugr coming up behind him. He immediately set upon it and it was floored. And once something was down under Galleytrot, it rarely got back up. This Draugr was no exception. It was dead -- again -- in moments and the huge white dog shifted back into his human form. "Well, isn't everything in here either the phylactery or something that is not the phylactery?" He pointed out. "...I understand what you mean, though. Let's hurry. I don't want Greyston and Piper to hold out longer than necessary."

Sam scoffed at the comment while running towards the lower magic concentration before anything else came up. The wall shifted, trapping them for another 3 minutes.

"Agh! We're here for another 3 minutes. Unfortunately, we're in a time wasting situation. Fortunately, it gives me time to charge up for 2 spells that'll definitely get us there without anymore interruption. Either charge up for your own spell, or make yourself comfortable."

He changed to his king piece, sat his staff on the ground, and began to make up the spells, using 1 hand for either spell. With 3 uninterrupted minutes, he had a lot of time.

@Sleipnir

Piper sighed and gave the girl a sympathetic look. "I can't tell yet, Jumil. Things have been very out-of-hand recently. I'll let you know once we get this sorted out and cases get back to normal."

Galleytrot groaned, irritated by the situation. "Well — whatever we do next, we better try and do it quick."

@Sleipnir @Kylesar1

The undead minotaur roared as it searched for the intruders. It would have been a bigger problem than the undead knights. The rest of the knights were searching as well though.

Meanwhile Penumbra heard Bael's battle cry. But instead of fighting him she decided to let him fight something else. Another Bael made out of darkness was generated. It represented his dark side.

Allerio stood behind Piper all this time and after things calmed down a little he said: ''I can help you with buffs and range support. Plus I can heal. With me around you can change the flow of the fights a little''. Usually the high elf wouldn't form alliances , but the situation called for it. Oberon was a powerful lich after all. And a single powerful lich who was also highly resourceful had enough power to destroy the world.

Justin rounded up behind the others, tighetning his body armor, and putting his gas mask in a nearby pouch, to use if the smoke was released. He glanced at William, and gave him an encouranging look. Will seemed kind off to him, these past few moments. He seemed to lost his confidence, or was maybe distracting by someone else? He looked like he seen a ghost. Tightening his bracer arm armor, he grabbed a few enchanted guns and sticked them in his weapon pouches. Sanders was quite good with those, and Justin did shoot a lot of shadow monsters, in that vortex move, so he figured the weapons are pretty efective. He also took a knife, renowned for being able to kill demons, yet he figured maybe it would work on shadow-spawn and undead too. He also took some speccialy designed boots, that were able to release spikes when activated. He was all suited up and was just waiting for the battle to commence.

Will, meanwhile got up, and wiped his worried look off his face. ''What am I worrying about'' The Kraken thought as he paced around...William isn't going to get out. The curse is too strong. And even if he does, what's a man going to do against a leviatan?'' he thought as he rotated his axe in his hand. ''Yet, if I exit his body, the Department would know and chase me and kill me''. He dwelled in these thoughts then suddenly stiffned. ''What I am I saying? I am the Kraken. I killed thousands of men...I destroyed thousands of ships. I defeated most fearsome creatures in battle. I ain't gonna be scared by a human. You hear that Will? Screw you'' he said internally, hoping the soul would hear him. For now, let us focus on the task at hand. Saving the world we both live in.

Galleytrot shifted back to a dog with a growl. He didn't very well like the noises he'd heard, and didn't care to fight whatever made them.

Or maybe he did.

Galleytrot for one did not care for creatures who got in his way. Whatever he had heard was no exception and if it was to appear, he would have no qualms with tearing its throat out. In fact, he might enjoy that. It wasn't something he had a chance to do very often.

Bael, meanwhile, frowned at the being before him. "...The Hell is this?" He asked out loud. Looked like him. Stood like him. Moved like him. It may as well have just been Bael. He reached for his dagger, and noted that the shadow did the same. Bael stopped cold. He glowered at it. In the dark like this the only apparent difference between Bael and this imposter was the eyes: Bael had never really wondered what he'd look like if he had dark eyes, but now he knew.

He 'jumped' behind the shadow and had drawn his knife again, slashing, but upon doing so he realized that the creature wasn't there and he connected with nothing. He froze for a moment, then felt a force hit him from behind. He had never been hit by a poltergeist and it was a strange thing to him: he didn't have the time to wonder if this was what his attacks felt like though. It was as if something had pushed him across the cement and afterwards, there was pain. He stood up and attempted to attack again, but for every attack he was matched, even though he gave no time to react in between each hit.

This went on for awhile until Bael was pushed back once more. He shouted angrily and struck again, once more connecting with nothing. Then there was a hard strike to the side of his head. Bael stumbled and fell, pressing a hand to his head, frozen suddenly from the attack. He just sat there for several moments.

How do I fight something that might as well be me?

"I'll help where I'm needed, I have a light weapon to use against the shadows, but I'd prefer the physical." Liliana told Piper when she had a chance. She was ready to fight something and get this place back to normal.

Wednesday saw Bael and moved to help him, Caden following along. She hung along in the background and waited, trying to decide if she should interfere or not.

"Then find something physical and kill it," Piper told Liliana. Then she turned to the attractive high elf. "Good. Whatever you can do, do it — fight, heal, whatever. We always need ranged support when it can be given – healing will almost certainly be needed when you can give it."

The strike that had downed Bael wasn't particularly strong. It was where that had drive him to the ground. He looked up suddenly at Wednesday and with a somewhat panicked look, shook his head at her. He wanted help, yes, but didn't wNt her hurt.

The magic increased within the walls around them, symbolizing a shift. Sam had finished a couple of seconds ago. "Stay behind me. You have to kill the ones in the back. In the event that we end up fighting a stronger enemy than those pushover knights, the clearing spell may not work as well as intended. However, in any event, it'll weaken it considerably."

The walls started moving. "Enough talk. Time to fight!" he said as they transitioned back into the corridor with all the enemies.

"Black Monsoon." Sam released the spell from his left hand. A black storm eye appeared in his hand and released the intense storm from it. It once again obliterated everything in the way. Sam ran through the now clear corridor. Far down the path, another monster still stood after the spell.

It roared and ran towards him

Kyu stretched, looking at all of the others preparing for battle. Despite his excitement, he had a nervous look on his face as Jumil walked up.

"Can I really do this..."

@subject 635

Justin placed a hand on the back of Kyuma. ''You can do this, kid. I saw what you can do, in the training room. Just give your best out there, and you'll be ok'' he said as he shook his hand and left him to conversate with Jumil.

Kyuma looked up at Justin. A moment later, his determined expression returned. "R-Right! I can do this. I'll kick all kinds of ass!

Oberon summoned an undead warlock from the Chaos Realm this time. This warlock , unlike the other undead thus far was intelligent. ''I await your orders, my king'' he said.

Undead-Warlock.png

''Very well. You have free reign for now'' said Oberon. ''As you wish'' replied the warlock. A portal to the Chaos Realm appeared above DC and what seemed to be meteors covered in green flames rained down from it. As they hit the ground huge craters were made and what came from them were ...Chaos Infernals. There were about 20 of them, 20 meters tall each.

Chaos infernals were rather slow but they had very high durability and strength, therefore they were heavy hitters. Not only that, because they were surrounded by chaos flames , their hits would ignore defences of any type.

@KattRai @Kylesar1 @Elias @Sleipnir @Kalin Scarlet

William watched as the green rain of death, fell from the sky, and pierced the earth. There was a moment of silence, and then he heard them, the Lich's newest monsters. The Chaos Infernals. A small smirk formed upon his mouth. ''Well played, you dead piece of shit'' he said as he gripped his axe firmly. Turning to the others, he nodded. ''It's an honor fighting besides you'' he said as he turned back to the view. ''And by you'' he said to William inside him, even though he wished he wasn't there. Afterall, Will was a part of his being, and now he had to live with it.

The green flames reflected upon Justin's gas mask lens, making him look eerie in the green hue. Like a vigilante, who was set to kill. He looked quite marvelous, with his body armor and gas mask. As he saw the flames, he gripped the knife hardly in one hand, and in the other an enchanted pistol. ''Let's do this''

Kyuma gripped his arm, as he watched the creatures rise up out of the craters.

"I won't run...I can do this..." he said to himself, as he prepared for battle.

"And you," Liliana said absently to William beside her. She pulled a weapon from her arsenal, the bow again, She wasn't sure how much good her light arrows would do, but nothing was impervious and she had plenty of weapons where that came from. She headed off towards the nearest meteor strike, and fired three shots in quick succession off at the creature, trying to asses how much damage the bow would do. She had no desire to get near the creatures, given the flames.

Wednesday watched Bael and the shadow fight, when the meteors fell neither she nor Caden flinched. A zombie and a ghost wouldn't be much use against any of these things, maybe they'd just leave. Everything would probably be fine here, so maybe they'd just leave.
