Fantasy Department of Defense Against the Supernatural

Lilana rolled her eyes at the new boy, and scoffed, "Do you just want a sword though your face? Or maybe I could provide an arrow somewhere a bit more painful." She threatened standing. He was a prime example of why she hated guys so much.

Melody looked a little sad at Pipers response and nodded, it could do nothing for Greyston, so it instead appeared in front of Will. It reached up to pull the bone from his back, and was surprisingly able to move it. It did not come all the way out- but the little elemental was trying.

There was a sound of loud crashing and instinctively, she looked over to where a large file cabinet and been thrown. Bael looked unhappy to say the least, then snapped, "That is completely-" he froze suddenly. The poltergeist looked confused for a minute, and disoriented, then he relaxed, looking down. "...What...?" He frowned, then looked up again, first at Piper then at the others and backed up, shaking his head. "...Excuse me." He turned to walk away.

"Someone keep an eye on him!" Piper called before turning her attention to Liliana and Kyuma. She nodded. "Thank you, Liliana, but I'm not allowed to let you do that." She then turned to Kyuma. "If you could focus on the task at hand - you know, stopping the end of the world - that would be great."

"End of the world? Oh, that doesn't sound good. Alright, I'm done. Just trying to keep my head, doing what I do best. One last question. What do we do?"

"For now, you're getting ready to fight. If you have battle experience, great. If you don't... Try and get a bit but don't wear yourself out and stay off the frontline. Arm yourself to the teeth and be ready to fight at nightfall." She replied. "That's all I've got. Good luck." She turned around, then left them to do whatever they needed to. She went back to check Greyston again and, satisfied that Bael was not murdering him yet, she turned to going to the armory to fill up her guns.

Bael stood at a window again, leaning out of the broken glass. He had absolutely nothing to do.

...Except try and find that comb.

He eventually did get one, and finding a sink, he wet down the comb down to fix his hair, clearing out the tangles and nightmare blood.

After tending to Will, Melody appeared near the newer guy, Kyuma, and offered a hand, clearly in greeting. "hello hello." She sang, the Beatles this time.

Liliana rolled her eyes at the kid and decided she'd stay around to make sure Kyuma didn't have the audacity to harass the little sound elemental. She had sat back down in one of the desk chairs in the open office space, and now she leaned back, watching the new ones. She had the weapons she needed already, all in her arsenal within access via her glove.

As everyone dispersed, Kyuma made his way to the armory, and went looking for the most awesome looking weapon he could find. Unfortunately, everything he found was completely boring... He stepped out of the armory with a sigh. 'Man, my first chance to show off to the world what I can do... I'm so pumped! But...I have no idea how to fight monsters...' he thought to himself.

Looking over to the girl, he smiled. "Hello there! Might I just say that you are the most beautiful of gods creatures that has ever graced me with their presence." He said, taking her hand. "I'm Kyuma. May I know your name?"

Piper looked over from where she was organizing bullets. People had, understandably, been rushing in and out all night and making sure everything was back in place wasn't their major concern. She didn't blame them. She glanced at Kyuma and Melody, then waited for Melody's response. She glanced at her gun, matching her bullets.

Bael sighed, brushing a hand through his hair. All cleaned. He nodded, the set the comb aside. He hadn't actually needed to comb his hair in decades. It hadn't looked groomed in quite awhile.

"Melody, Melody it was a second name." It sang with a smile, this time a Rolling Stones song passed Melody's lips, and undoubtedly sounded a bit funny coming from the young girls mouth. It was unable to find the appropriate words to respond to his other comment- it had never been told such things before and was honestly a little taken aback.

Kyuma and Melody seemed to have left the area which Liliana could monitor, so she offered simply a sigh and remained up there with the others for a bit, before realizing that she could use some armour. She got up and headed upstairs to where the weapons and armor were stored. She saw that that had been where the two had gone off to, and noticed Piper nearby. Deciding to listen as she browsed, she let Piper babysit for the moment.

Wednesday and Caden made their way back into the headquarters after Caden finished feeding. They saw Bael, and Wednesday made her way over to the ghost boy. "Hey, you look.... better? What's with the normal hair? I don't like it. You were cuter with the messy bedhead look." She said. Caden nodded in agreement, though, one might have to do a double take to realize that meant the zombie may understand speech.

"Melody? That name suits you, for sure. Your voice does carry a beautiful note. I'm interested to know what makes you speak everything in song lyrics." Kyuma said, noting the words she'd said to be from a song he'd heard quite a few times.

Bael turned his attention to Wednesday, looking more than a touch surprised an almost bewildered by her comment. "Oh. Um..." He frowned, looking away, and tried to gather his thoughts. "It... Looked really bad before. Like... Mats. Blood. You know." He couldn't think of anything else, really, and awkwardly, he added, "...I, uh... It won't stay like this long, I imagine." He paused, then quickly added, "I just don't really have any time to bother with my hair most of the time. It's not easy." He frowned again, clearly trying to regain his lost composure and obviously frustrated by his stumbling about. "...You know."

Piper groaned. "Do we have anyone who does enchanting? We're low on holy and light-enchanted bullets." She paused idly, wondering if it would have the same effect to enchant the gun rather than the bullets. She glanced over at Melody and Kyuma. "It's a sound elemental. It, she... We refer to that one either way. It just sort of showed up with William and has been around. Talks in anything recorded."

"Oh, that's really cool!" said, smiling at Melody. He then realized Piper's previous statement. "Uhm, I think I can manage that enchantment...if I can get that photo I asked about earlier." He said, scratching his cheek as he he laughed in his own head. He knew he sounded like a complete pervert, but he'd decided long ago that he was fine with being that way.

Attila gave a raging roar and smashed the hilt of his sword into Galleytrots muzzle. When he made the dog let go, the Hun backed off to attack again, but before he could the walls changed again, closing on either side of Sam and Galleytrot, effectively trapping them until they shifted again. As soon as the walls closed however, the room felt like it turned, causing the right side of the room to now act as the floor, and pulling both men to the 'ground'.

Wednesday watched him fumble around with his words with a disinterested expression. "I see, well. It's cuter messy, that's all I meant." She said. She reached a hand over to Bael's head and fluffed his hair with her hand, then moved it away and assessed. Then, the corners of her mouth turned up, amused. One could almost call it a smile. "There, that's better." She said. Caden simply stood and watched.

The question had caused melody's face to bunch up, confused on how to respond, but when Piper explained it's smile returned and it gave a rather animated nod. It fell out of it's human form and formed a line of barred music in the air, the intro to Cary on My Wayward Son in sheet music, then it formed again as a young boy this time.

Liliana scoffed at Kyuma's persistence, and offered, "Or, maybe Winifred can? Or potentially another witch around here? I'm not certain." She paused, then added, "It may be more effective to enchant the gun itself though, that's how my bows are... I should invest in an enchanted gun, probably."

Bael shied away slightly, "Um. Thanks... I guess..." He leaned back against the window, looking away. After a minute he stood up straight. "Well. Uh, I need to go talk to someone about this dog..." He turned, meaning to leave, then it occurred to him he really didn't have anywhere to go at all. He ended up standing stock still, kicking the ground once, and turned back toward Wednesday, unsure how to word an escape now, and wondering if she'd caught it.

Piper nodded. "Yeah, I'll just ask Fred," she replied flatly. "I didn't see enchantment on your file anyway." She then looked at Liliana. "There's some nice guns here if you want to look. Or ask Sander - he keeps a personal collection he bought himself. I've not looked myself but I imagine they're pretty nice guns." Then she turned her attention to Melody with a grin, and looked at Kyuma for a reaction.

Galleytrot snarled as the Hun hit him, and stumbled along the floor as it shifted. He switched to a human, and spat out a dog tooth with a grimace. "Well, that was a nice twist, wasn't it?" He looked at Sam.

Kyuma watched the line of sheet music that Melody became with great curiosity. However, Liliana's comments irritated him. "I'm sorry. I realize you may be upset that I haven't paid you much attention, but I promise I'll get to you soon enough. He said with a nonchalant smirk aimed at the Valkyrie.

Piper pursed her lips, raising her eyebrows and looked at Liliana, moving a bit farther off. She did not want to get in the middle of this mess, and wasn't sure if she had any interest in trying to stop Liliana's impending rage. She wasn't sure if she even could - the girl was a valkyrie. "...Run," she told Kyuma, then she turned around to examine the arms.

Wednesday watched Bael as he started to leave and stop. "I'm pretty sure every pet store in DC is closed right now. What dog are you seeing about exactly?" She asked, cocking her head sideways at him, amused by his awkwardness.

Liliana's harsh stare immediately snapped from Piper to Kyuma, her cold glare indicating that all her attention was now on the boy. "You realize I wouldn't even need to dig into my arsenal to slay you, don't you?" She asked, the rest of her body turning to face his straight on.

As it formed into a young boy, Melody stepped to the side, clearly not wanting to be in the way between Liliana and Kyuma.

'This is my chance...'

"Of course. Your good looks are more than enough for that. Of course, I'm not even showing off the slightest portion of my own power, so your assumption rings a little hollow to me...would you like to test that theory of yours?" Kyuma said, blatantly staring at her chest the entire time.

Piper shook her head with a slightly exasperated sigh, then settled on one of the guns. She moved into the next task, but didn't leave in case she did have to reel Liliana back. "Bad choice," she pointed out to Kyuma, not turning.

Bael hesitated, then turned back to Wednesday, hunting for any possible recovery. He was failing to find one. Badly. He opened his mouth to speak, then stopped, and the. Did the same thing again. Finally he said, "Actually, that's an old phrase men used to excuse themselves when they were going to a speakeasy, but that is not helping my position in the least," he added the last part as he spoke, realizing he was only digging the hole deeper. He stopped altogether and just stood there.

"What's a speakeasy? A bar? Well, I guess alcohol does help men speak... Easily," she said. "But I'm pretty sure those are all closed too."

Liliana slid off her bomber jacket and hung it up with the armor she had intended to take for herself, revealing her perfectly trim physical form underneath. She sighed and turned back toward him, taking a couple steps toward him as her tank top hugged her curves. "Maybe you're right. Maybe I shouldn't judge a book by its cover," she said with a small smile, her head tilting a touch.

"I am? I-I mean, of course I am!" He said, smiling as he blushed slightly. He could hear a small whisper at the back of his head, but he wasn't paying it any attention. 'She's so sexy...'

Piper turned sharply, caught off guard by Liliana's sudden change in demeanor. She hesitated, completely unsure what was happening. "Wait, what?"

Bael stood by, almost guilty in his embarrassment. "They're illegal bars. You know what — nevermind!" He burst suddenly, storming past her to somewhere else in the building, having broken the threshold from embarrassment to frustration. He immediately had switched to the more comfortable response.

(I can't wait for the vacation to arrive. So much RP will be then, when there will be no school. Amen to that.)

William just came out of the shower where he washed himself of the ''impurities'' that he got while fighting. He was now looking like his older self. Tall, formal, slightly creepy yet polite. He wandered if the real William was as spot-on as he was portaying him at the moment. Shaking his thoughts off, he arrived at the others, and sat down toying with his fingers. He still had that twisted finger, and it bothered him. It was like having an ripped tentacle. Grabbing, he twisted it rapidly, making a crack heard. The finger was now back to normal. Looking around he noticed the things that were happening. For some reason, the valkyrie was stripping and heading towards the new recruit. No comment on that. Everyone seemed to be amazed at that. ''I'll back up Piper on this one. What the hell, Liliana?'' he said, an ounce of doubt in his voice, yet with a smile on the corners of his mouth. She was probably toying with the young lad, like she toyed with him, that night at the bar, and took all of his money. Oh well, time to watch her in action.

Justin was meanwhile watching the 'show' aswell. The new recruit's flirtiness amused him beyond words, and now he was watching as he was flirting with Liliana. He even flirted with Melody for Christ's sake. And this was getting interesting.

(Ok, these past 2 days I've been kinda slow, but tomorrow im slightly more free, so ima roleplay a lot more. Going to sleep mode now. *powers down*

Wednesday giggled, sitting down in the chair he had once occupied.

Liliana nodded, reaching a hand out to his chin, and leaning in as if to kiss him. Then she landed a hard right hook on his jaw. "No, you're not," she told him flatly, turning around to go back to the armour.

Justin guwwafed into laughter, alongside William and others. ''You've been warned, kid!'' William said as he chuckled wildly. That was amusing. He knew something was up from the start, and he was waiting for, how should we say it? The punch-line of the joke.

In the instant before he was punched, Kyuma realized two things. First, he could strangely hear voices coming from Liliana's bust. Second, they were screaming "Its a trap!" up until the moment he was floored by her.

"Oh...so that's what that voice was...good to know." he said to himself, his mouth bruised and leaking blood. Although, he still managed a grin. After all, from down here, he had an excellent view of her butt as she walked away.
