"n...no...." Sisceal croaked. The pain from the kick had finally registered and stirred him out of his dead state....somewhat at least.. "no hospital...I---" He sat up on his elbow, shaking violently, turned to the side and got sick. "Wh...where am I?"

Abigor stood there stupefied for the longest time before his pride took over again. How dare they slap him like that?! He had only just arrived and done nothing to them! "Daphne, I will be right back. I have to confront whoever attacked me just now." He huffed. Rolling up his sleeves he marched straight for the trailer he'd seen them in. "Excuse me." He moved Kora out of the way as he knocked loudly on the door. "You in there!! Care to explain yourself as to why you slapped me?? I don't even know you!"

"heh....butterflies....I know..I know. Fly faster than sounds..." Marius laughed lightly to himself as he stared off to who knows where....his eyes were normally unfocused, but even for him the degree of staring off into space was. Creepy. His usual aura seeing ability was going wacky on him as well and causing flits of his own energy to fly by aaand for him to chase them. At least he managed to make it to the main tent. Unless he bugged the big cats he couldn't hurt himself much there... of course, sitting there in the middle of the ring and talking to whatever it was he was hallucinating helped too.

Nora sat up at the sound of Abigor's voice, she was furious that he showed up.


"The hell are you doing here Abigor?!"


She stormed to the door and threw it open, staring the fellow demon down with an icy glare.


"You dare come here after what you did? God, its like, you just want me to suffer! First my reputation, now the only place where I am not judged! Why.....why do you do this to me?!"


She was tearing up, her emotions were all over the place. She wiped the water from under her eyes.


"And you don't remember me? I remember you so well! My every waking moment is haunted by what you did to me!"


She slapped him again.


"Here I'll jog your memory. My mother Agrat bat Mahat set up an arranged marriage, you were set to marry me, her daughter. Then, you show up the day our union was to be made official and you.....you ruined me! You ruined my life, my reputation, and every good thing I had going for me! Everything gone because of what you said about me! have you no sympathy?"


She shoved him, she was never granted the chance to confront him after what happened.


"I can't even show my face in the inferno anymore! I just.........I just want you OUT OF MY CIRQUE!!!!!!!!"

"Sayuri!" Daphne shouted as the girl ran out of the trailer. Daphne shot up to a standing position and was about to run after Sayuri until she saw Paul already in the process of doing so. Still worried, Daphne's attentions changed from Paul when she noticed Abigor had gone over to Nora's trailer. When Daphne heard Nora screaming Daphne, worried something else might've happened, made her way over to Nora's trailer. As she watched Nora shove Abigor though, all of Daphne's worry disappeared for Nora as Daphne filled with anger grew a barbed vine from her palm and slashed Nora's arm.


"What is going on in here?" Daphne asked as she also entered Nora's trailer, "Nora why did you shove him? Why were you yelling?"

Kora was seconds from entering Nora's trailer when someone shoved her out of the way. This man, though she did not know him, spelled trouble. The yelling, the anger, Kora was about ready to strangle him. He had not only shoved her aside, he was a nuisance to Nora and her at the moment.

"Mera?!?" His eyes widened as it finally dawned on him who it was. He held his now tender cheek and looked at her in shock. "What in God's name are you talking about? Have you really still not let that go?!" His volume began to raise as his temper grew. He stared at her coldly as he was shoved back. "You know that was ages ago don't you? Hell, I don't even remember what I did to you! All I know is that you disappeared after our little falling out!"

Nora turned to Daphne, who had cut her arm. She was ticked off now, her demon nature was showing.


"WHY ARE YOU DEFENDING HIM?????????? He ruined me! he ruined my LIFE! everything everything!"


She was starting to sound like Mr. Bones. Talking nonsense. The skeleton was lounging on the couch laughing at the situation. She looked at Abigor who finally put two and two together.


"Ages ago to you but I still can't show my face there! I am ruined because of you!"


She threw a bottle against her wall causing the bottle to shatter. a black mist emitted from her and her eyes glowed red.


"EVERYONE OUT OF MY TRAILER NOW!!!!!!"


She grabbed a knife from the counter.


"I MEAN IT!! LEAVE OR I WILL HURT SOMEONE!!!!!!!"


She was hysterical, and out of control. This was a rare site, never seen by anybody but her mother after Abigor ruined her. It would such a sight for everyone there,


"LEAVE!"


She threw the knife at Abigor's feet causing the blade to stick into the ground mere inches from his foot.


"i just can't...."


she spoke the last part in a whisper as Mr. Bones pinched her neck, causing her to collapse.


"Mmmmmmm, the snake walker needs to be calmed."


The skeleton looked at the unconscious Nora as he spoke.


"Yes, yes.....all in a hard day's night......"

"Calm down Mera, you are acting irrational." Abigor quickly moved his foot out of the way as the knife stuck in the ground mere inches from it. There was no way he was going to risk damaging such expensive shoes. He watched coldly as the skeleton pinched her neck and caused her to collapse. "Ugh....finally. Thank you odd skeleton....she most certainly needed to calm down." He huffed. "So much for the warm welcome to this place..."

"Your hairstyle is real nice...." The vampire spoke wistfully. His head bobbing to the side slightly as he ran his hands through the horse's short, rough mane. "Do you mind if I..borrow it? "The creature snorted, but moved in closer to his touch. Enjoying the attention...even though it was coming from something it knew was a killer. Marius laughed like it had told him a grand joke. "Multumesc! You're such a doll!" He leaned in and kissed the creature's snout before going off to search for the nearest sharp object to well....give himself a haircut like his 'friend' had.

Kora looked at Nora quickly passed out, and the man said something about a warm welcome. Kora jumped back onto the step in front of Nora, snapping her teeth harshly at the man before rushing to her side, and trying to pick her up. She hated seeing Nora like this, all broken, and distraught. She smelled like Mr. Bone's pipe as well. Glaring at the man in the door, Kora picked up Nora and shooed him away from her with her lashing tail.

Alex was wandering around the stables alone, with her people. The young mutant had been alone for a long time, she hadn't an idea where anyone else had dissipated to the night before, though she knew it had something to do with alcohol. Looking around the corner, she spotted Marius walking around, seemingly in some sort of haze, and seemed to be looking for something sharp. A spike of worry hit her as she walked towards him, tapping his shoulder. "Marius, are you ok?" She asked kindly

"Hmm?" He didn't even jump when Alex tapped his shoulder. Rather...he turned his head around lazily to reveal that he had found what he was looking for before she could have stopped him and was already at work cutting off his hair. At least he was sort of getting what he had in mind and not entirely butchering it...yet. "Oooh, I'm just fine! As perfect as can be.." He responded in a breathy tone. A dreamlike expression on his face. "Just following some fashion advice from my friend with the long face." He grinned.

Sayuri

"S-stay away..." Sayuri said, still curled upon the ground crying. "Just... stay away..." The second time, Sayuri had lost a little of the sense of fear, and gained a little bit of a depressed and wanting to rot away on her own kind of feel to her voice. "Just please... stay away..." Sayuri said, speaking for the last time. Her tears had stopped, her having given up on her fear and simply begun wishing to go through time alone, sort of like the change in her feelings toward being alone over the entirety of her time before meeting Thomas. The change in tone had originally taken her almost a thousand years, though this time was different, as her memories were slowly being piled back on until she was as-is about ten years before meeting Thomas.

"You back among the living yet, damned priest?" Kiyoko said, walking behind him and giving him another kick on the ass. This one was a little lighter, just enough to make the average man's tailbone go numb. "You're lucky I'm not in charge, as I'd have you fired for laying around like this. Now wake up!" Kiyoko kicked a few times more, clearly pissed off at the idiotic priest. She quit kicking after a little, getting tired of wasting her energy kicking the ass of a worthless man. "I'm gonna go now. Not wasting any more time on this idiot when I have an investigation to work on. Don't worry, I won't do anything big on my own." Kiyoko said, starting to walk away.

Alex looked at Marious as he started cutting his hair, and she raised an eyebrow. "Marius, you where talking to a horse. Are you feeling ok? Have you and Nora gotten in a fight or something?" She asked him, reaching out for the object and gently trying to pry it from his hands. He seemed determined to cut his hair short at this point.

"Horse?.....I wasn't talking to a horse...I was talking to the nice fellow back there." He smiled and motioned back to the direction of the horse which was watching him intently now. Even it was confused by his behavior. A slight frown creased his face as she tried to take the object from him and he held up higher so she couldn't reach it. "No no, I've got it, I know what I'm doing..." He protested as he stumbled back a bit. "My friend told me the Queen of snakes would like this..."

Sammy looked at Sisceal who was refusing an ambulance.


"Nope, you are going to the hospital. Fight all you want, I want a toxicology report on you."


She crossed her arms as she looked at Kiyoko.


"Come on, he is half naked in a ditch, if we truly wanted to embarrass him we would publish this in the newspaper."


She flicked a cigarette out of her pocket and lit it. The sound of a siren wailed in the distant.


"Now Sisceal, you are going to hospital, consider it an order."

Mr. Bones glared at Abigor with his non-existent eyes.


"Mmmm, you best not play with fire. Not only does it burn, it also bites."


He looked at Daphne.


"Before a war starts there is a conflict. Be the one who helps the conflict be avoided."


He took another drag of his pipe as he watched Kora, he cocked his bony head to the side.


"Oh, yes, water wakes the beast."

Paul's smile faded at Sayuri's response, something was very wrong. This was not the Sayuri he knew, it was like she reverted back to before the Cirque.


"Hmmm....well I'm sorry but, leaving you alone is not something I can do."


He shifted into a seated position, it was more comfortable.


"If I go back, the fact that I left you al alone out here will haunt me. Especially with humans roaming around here. If you come back to my cirque with me you will be safe from the mean humans. And I have lots of food there, including the best selection of cheese in Germany. I spoil my performers but, I wouldn't have it any other way."


He kept his calm caring demeanor in tact. He had to be like Thomas now and he had to figure out was wrong with Sayuri.


"I wont leave you alone here, no, I will stay here."

"Hmph. I was born in fire, so I believe I will be perfectly fine odd one." He returned the glare. It couldn't be see in the skeleton's face, but he could sense it. "Daphne, maybe we should just go and leave Mera to calm down."

Sisceal groaned as Kiyoko kicked him, but didn't move away at all. Just sat there and took it before retching again. His head was pounding and he felt like he was in a fog. "B-but I don't...." The poor man couldn't even argue this one. He wiped his face as a cold sweat ran down it and flopped back onto the grass. "I don't need to go...."

Sayuri"Cheese...?" Sayuri asked, in an uncaring yet slightly interested voice. It was like she'd never heard the word cheese before and wanted to know what it was. In fact, that's exactly how it was. "I have no interest in this cheese thing, whatever it may be... As for leaving me here where humans roam around... You're a human too, aren't you...? We're all humans... In the end, all humans ever to is take advantage of each other... I refuse to go with another person, because you're just going to do like the last guy..." Sayuri rolled onto her back, arms and legs stretched out with her looking like a pitiful lost soul, one that was so tired of trying to find its place it just gave up on caring.

Kiyoko"Thanks for the idea." Kiyoko said, spinning something from out of her pocket. The rectangular object the size of her hand slid horizontally slightly, a small lens showing. Placing it up to her eyes, Kiyoko pressed a button and a little click could be heard. She'd just taken a picture of Sisceal with the little device, a neat spy-like camera made by Minox. "Well, I'm off!" Kiyoko said, closing the capsule-like camera and putting it in her pocket. Fully walking off now, she was now walking to the cirque to see what she could observe in the daytime. She had a few other motives, though those were ones she'd not let the team she's working with know. Depending on situation though, she might talk about those motives with the cirque themselves.

'Mera? How does Abigor know her..' Daphne's thoughts were cut off as Nora began to scream at her. Every word stabbed Daphne to her core. "Please Nora just clam down!" Never had Nora used a tone like that when she spoke to Daphne, nor had she ever wanted to hear it. Tears began to form at Daphne's eyes and she stood there frozen even as Nora threw a knife at Abigor. Only when Mr.Bones knocked Nora out was when Daphne responded.


"I-I...Abigor I'm sorry this isn't how I had hoped for you to meet. " Daphne was playing off as if she hadn't realized that Abigor knew Nora.


Then Mr.Bones once again spoke up. 'What sort of conflict is he talking about? Does he mean the one with Abigor and Nora?' Daphne was still to distraught to think about what Mr. Bones had said, instead her tears began to fall down her face. When Abigor suggested that the pair should leave Daphne simply nodded and clung to Abigor's arm for comfort, looking back at the unconscious Nora once more.

Paul smiled at Sayuri.


"Ah yes cheese, its very good, and no two taste alike. Some are dry and others are creamy, its quite interesting."


he wasn't going to give up easily, nope, that was the true part of Paul shinning through. stubborn as a mule. He laughed when Sayuria said he was human.


"If only that was true, it would make life easier."


He shook his head.


"But I am not human no, I am demon. I have heard rumors about you, well I think they are about you, that you are not entirely human yourself."


He was going to return to the cirque with Sayuri, even if he had to sit out there all night.

Nora is still passed out and Mr. Bones is smoking his pipe

Sammy shook her head and yelled at Kiyoko.


"Hey! Get back here!"


She sighed as she looked at the ambulance that pulled up.


"Take him in, I want him checked out and full report run."


The paramedics nodded as they went to work on Sisceal.


"I don't get paid enough to do this....."

"Yes. Yes...the Queen of snakes will love this so much she'll forgive the fool..." He smiled and turned his back to Alex...only to continue cutting his hair. He had one half his head shaved short and was moving on to the other side, leaving a band of longer hair right down the center....At least he was getting the horse's mane look. His mind was certainly not right though and he wreaked of the drug he had smoked. That on top of a nasty hangover and bad morning was not a good combination.

"No need for tears Daphne... Never in a thousand years would I have guessed that I would run in to her again...especially not here." He wrapped a comforting hand around her shoulder as they turned to leave. Now was not the time to fight. Not with Daphne's family and definitely not in his condition. He may have looked powerful, but that was far from the truth now.

Sisceal continued to protest against the medical help, but in the end it was pointless. He couldn't fight back and as soon as they got him into the ambulance he passed out again. Whatever they had done to him, it had hit him hard.

Daphne reached and gently touched Abigor's hand on her shoulder acknowling his comfort. Still looking in the direction of Kora, Nora, and Mr.Bones, Daphne twisted her hand and a small bouquet of flowers grew from her palm. Then her nail became a thorn and she made a clean slice on the flower stems and placed the bouquet on a table next to the door. But at the moment Daphne had separated those flowers from her body she felt a sharp pain in her chest.


"F-for Nora when she wakes up," Daphne mumbled through slightly heavier breaths.


Daphne then leaned against Abigor as they left Nora's trailer. Daphne wiped away her tears as soon as the pair was back at Daphne's trailer. She looked at Abigor again and thought about what he said before she responded to him.


"Abigor I am going to put on a fresh change of clothes, do excuse me for a few moments."


Before Abigor could respond, Daphne closed her door and leaned herself against it. A lot was going through her mind. First Sayuri then Abigor and Nora, it was all too much for Daphne. Yet that was not the only reason as to why she had closed the door on her love. Daphne looked down at her hand that she had cut the flowers from. Small green vein lines spread from her palm to the tips of her fingers. To a non-nymph this may seem fine but Daphne knew it was much more, even with her demon side unsealed. Luckily Daphne had only done a small task. Hopefully she wouldn't need her powers to do more. With a sigh Daphne changed into a more modern day outfit, finishing the look by wearing a pair of black gloves to hide her hand.

Alex sighed, looking at Marius. "Ugg, yeah, you defiantly smoked SOMETHING because you reek." She said to him, waving a hand in front of her nose and waiting until he had finished with cutting his hair before taking his arm and tugging it a bit. "Why don't we let you sit down in my trailer." She offered, walking towards her trailer.

Kora looked curious at Daphne, nodding a thanks as she placed down the flowers, and the shapeshifter slowly dragged her friend back towards her bed, slowly sliding her unconscious body onto the bed. "Ah, there we go." she grumbled, throwing her legs on there as well before going back to put the flowers in a vase.

Mr. Bones walked out of Nora's trailer leaving Kora to tend to the demon. He walked around, smoking his pipe, when he stumbled upon Marius and Alex.


"Hmmmmm"


the skeleton rubbed his chin as he looked at Marius hair. He reached out a bony hand and grabbed the long part of his hair.


"Explain blind blood sucker!"

Nora stirred slightly when Kora set her on her bed.


"mm...no, no I swear....I swear I would never...."


She was remembering the last time she saw Abigor in the inferno. It was basically a nightmare for her.


"Don't listen.........don't listen to him....... lies.....lies....."


her sleep talking was not loud, rather it was like mumbling that could only be understood if you were closer to her.


"Lies.....lies....it is all lies...."


The memories seemed distressing to her as seen by the fact that she had broken into a cold sweat and looked distressed.

Kora pulled out a vase and put some water in it, and she looked back at Nora. Letting the flowers fall into the vase, Kora walked over to the bed and sat down on the edge of the bed, pressing her hand to Nora's forehead and listening to her mumble. More curious than anything, Kora simply soothed her hand over her forehead.

"Alright. I'll wait here until you are finished." He scratched the back of his head. It was such a confusing and stressful day...and it had only just begun. With a sigh he found some crates to sit down on near Daphne's trailer and waited patiently for her to finish changing.

"No no no I'm fine. I don't need to sit down at all!" He smiled. Looking quite pleased with himself and what he'd just done. "I was going to go play with the big kittens-aaaaah!! Ouch!" His smile quickly turned to a frown as his hair was pulled. He reached out to feel who had a hold of him, in his state he couldn't tell from the voice alone. "Unhand me talking bones!! There is nothing to explain!"

"Will ya just let me go. I feel fine.." Sisceal argued with the doctors and nurses as they poked and prodded him. He got a short and gruff no before they strapped the oxygen mask back on his face. He didn't have the strength to fight back at all either. While the fog on his mind was lifting and he was conscious again, his limbs felt weak and numb. Rendering him unable to move much as they worked. What a spectacular way to start the day... he just hoped that the toxicology reports didn't land him in hot water, seeing as he had no way of explaining himself. He could only remember bits and pieces of things in flashes and it all felt like a nightmare.

Daphne readjusted her gloves for fifth time. She wanted to make sure her hand was completely covered before exiting her trailer, afraid that someone may see the slow growing green lines continuing on the the course of her veins. Thinking about it caused Daphne to check her gloves once again before she finally left her trailer and spotted Abigor a top some crates by her trailer.


"Sorry to keep you waiting Abigor, I just needed a moment to...Freshen up," Daphne said with an unenthusiastic smile.

"It's quite alright. You took far less time than I would have." He chuckled. Standing up from the crates as she approached. "Is something the matter dear? You may be smiling, but you don't seem too happy right now."
