"You want to be my partner?" She asked a bit shocked someone asked her. "Sure! Oh, who's your godly parent and what can you do?" She asked before chuckling and started to scratch her head. "Sorry, I always do that. I'm already trying to figure out a way for us to work together."

Jayce froze. "It's not important. Just know that I am really strong. And I mean REALLY strong." He said as he rubbed his arm with his hand. He didnt want anyone to know who his father was except for the people who had to know.

"Is you godly parent that bad that you can't tell a child of Hades?" She let out a sigh and sat down she patted the place next to her gesturing for him to sit. "I think Cade is pretty busy, so I'll tell her about our partnership later. "For now can you tell me what you are capable of? Also I can keep a secret, and I promise not to be shocked or hate you even if your father turned out to be Cronus himself." She said with a grin.

Jayce sat down and repeated what he said. "I'm strong. Really strong. And I can become even stronger when I want to. I have really good senses and I regenerate very quickly. That and I have sharp and durable nails." He looked at her with his fold eyes and then he looked down.

Teresa looked at him and was quiet for a bit as she tried to figure out who is godly parent could be with the hints he had given her. "*sigh* If you don't want to tell me so be it. Though I don't really like the idea of fighting along side someone who won't tell me something so simple. But I guess beggers can't be choosers. So you are a close combat person? I can do both...now what's a good strategy to use?"

Maddie stood up and stretched.


"I need to go check on my siblings and make sure everyone is healing alright." She began to walk away before she stopped and turned around with a bright smile. "And Barak don't forget where we're meeting afterwards okay."

He laughed a bit. "A son of Zeus never forgets." He waved to Maddie and smiled. He turned to Cade and asked, "So when is this tournament?" He was messing with his bow and looked at her. She did seem to be very strong. Who ever her godly parent was, must be proud of her. He knew he was gonna have a hard time fighting against her, but nothing is impossible. He smiled and looked over at his little sister.


(Also sorry I said Poseidon. I mean Triton, I just got them mixed up.)


Levinia laughed. "Oops sorry. I get their names mixed up." She stretched and looked up at the sun then back at Draco. "I'll go tell Cade were partners." She got up and walked over to Cade. She waved to Barak and looked back at Cade. "Hey just so you know. Me and Draco are partners."

Cade looks at Levinia. "Alright. Looks like we've got some competition. I'm gonna have fun. The tournament is tomorrow evening."

 

[Madeline Draco]

Maddie ran up to the edge of the lake, her breathing heavy from exertion. She had just left her newest brother in the care of the next eldest child of Apollo, said sister agreeing to teach their newest healer the ropes.


'I wonder what he wants to talk to me about?' She wondered as she waited for the blond 'sky prince' as his fan girls call him.


Draco got up and focused his powers on the water in the air morphing it into a rose and cooling the water until it froze. He knelt down and placed the rose and a jewelry box he pulled from his bag on the log she had sat on. Inside the box was a gold chain with a special pendant he had made himself. The pendent was lightning from her fathers master bolt sealed within nevermelting ice he himself had made. The lightning dancing within the eagle shaped ice had been given after he completed a quest for the king of the gods a month ago.


'For my princess of the sky...if only I could give you gifts more appropriate to your station.' Was thought as he walked away twords the lake.

 

[Chayliel]

"Yep. I fight with my fists and feet." Jayce said to Teresa.

 

[Peaceswore]

"Ok, any powers? Or just Superior strength and I'm guessing speed." She said as he laid on her back and went into deep thought.

 

[Chayliel]

Jayce quickly said, "Ya but I only use it in emergencies. I'm not telling anyone. Y'all have to figure it out." He laughed and laid down on the ground.

 

[Peaceswore]

"Oh boy. So I have a partner who keeps their true abilities hidden? I would ask why, but I have a feeling the only way to get you to spill is either torture or trust. Sadly I can't do the first one and we just met less than...I guess an hour or so." She said with a shrug. "But don't worry I'll figure it out...soonish." She joked as she began to play with her shadow.

 

[Andrea Logan]

Barak got up. "Well I'll see both of you at the tournament tomorrow." He was about to walk away but then turned and smirked at Levinia. "By the way baby sister. I'm so kicking your butt tomorrow." He walked away with his hands behind his head. When he reached the beach he smiled seeing Maddie standing by the water. He walked up to her and smiled. "I see you remembered."


Levinia rolled her eyes at Barak's comment. She looked at Cade and smiled. "Well see you later Cade!" Levinia waved bye to Cade as she walked back to the fire and Draco. Instead of finding Draco, she found a rose and a magnificent jewelry box. "What's this?" She picked up both of them and opened the jewelry box. Inside was a pendant made out of ice, shaped like an eagle. Inside the ice was a lightning bolt, but not any lightning bolt it was from her father's master lightning bolt. "How was he able to get this." She smiled and looked at both gifts. "It doesn't matter. I should thank him later when I see him." She walked to her cabin smiling. When she got there she placed the jewelry box on the nightstand and put the rose by it. She smiled and looked outside.

[Madeline Draco]

Maddie smiled twords the taller demigod.


"Oh course I remembered to meet you! When have I ever forgotten to meet up with you?" She joked trying to hide her blush.


Draco sat at the bottom of the lake hiding from Levinia. He was scared of that what happened with Aris would happen again.


'I can't hear her say she hates me...not Levi.'

Cade nods. She walks off to look for other campers.

The vast majority of campers had left the campfire area and had gone their own ways. Jessie glanced at the sky and noted the later time. She pushed herself off of the tree and headed towards the big house. She might as well grab one last late night snack before going back to her cabin. She walked into the big house and headed towards the kitchen.

Jayce looked up at the stars. "Sure. Soon." He lied to her but he was still trying to joke around.

 

[Andrea Logan]

Barak looked at the moon above then back at her, with a serious face. "Maddie I've known you for a few years now. And out of all the girls here I think your the best." He looked down at his feet. "The thing I'm trying to say is....." He looked at Maddie's face. "Maddie ever since I've known you I really liked you. Not like you... love you. Maddie your a really great girl. Your beautiful, knowledgeable, and you are kind to all. Your amazing Maddie." He gave her a small smile.

 

[Madeline Draco]

Maddie blushed as she listened to him.


"Barak you...but you have fangirls why pick me?"

Chiron heads over to the big house since it's getting late.


Cade also heads to the big house since she doesn't necessarily have a cabin.

 

[Andrea Logan]

Barak crossed his arms. "Maddie I know a lot if girls have a crush on me here because I'm the son of Zeus. But that doesn't mean I like them back. I like you because of you. Me, you, Draco, and Levinia have been a little group for years. I've gotten to know you and I like who you are."


Levinia was putting her hair in a pony tail till she felt misery. She saw the shadow beside her father's statue. She got up and yelled at it, "Leave me alone!" Levinia shot another lightning bolt at it and it disappeared. She ran to her bed quickly and got under the covers. She closed her eyes and ears as she listened to the mournful screams inside her head. Soon she was fast asleep.

 

[Madeline Draco]

"I lo...." Maddie began before her eyes glazed over.

Maddie watched as Levinia shot off a lightning bolt at a shadow creature them run to her bed in fear.

"Levinia needs us now!" She said as she started running twords the Zeus cabin.

 

[Andrea Logan]

Barak looked confused but followed any ways. He wondered what was up with Levinia. Oh wait he knew. The shadow must be messing with her again. He should have asked Draco to stay with Levinia till he got back to the cabin. How could Barak have been so stupid?
