Ummmmmmmm here's a thought I know you guys are in a pm, but why not make the scythe in 3 or 4 pieces then make each group in different tabs in the rp. I know it would be easier in a forum but it might work

I would think that there can be two quests, one for the main goal (to find the scythe/sickle or whatever) and one quest to carry out some side task that needs to be done. The leftover people can hang around at camp (camp isn't that boring anyway!) especially characters of people who have more than one ^^

We have it covered in in charge of keeping the people not going after the scythe busy. Kitty is being considered as my assistant.

Oh okay! I was just saying, a side quest could be an idea, maybe a side quest determined later on, after the main group leaves for their quest ^.^ Maybe just 3 to 5 people though instead of 7 haha.
