"It disappeared on us actually; right into the ground. Woosh!" Rav explained, and Amita couldn't help but hide a smile. "Are you serious?" Ila gaped. "I wish I'd seen it!" "Why would a spirit attack the town though?" the boy continued, and the girls both shrugged in unison. It really didn't make much sense at the moment.
"Might as well get everyone back together," Rav stated when they mentioned Milus. "Do you think he's still with Mei?" Rav paused, before his eyes widened. "Wait, Mei's still waiting on us!" The airbender started to run off back towards where they had come. "I'll find you two soon! See if you can find Milus or anyone!"

"Well, Ila," Amita sighed, "it looks like it's just us for now." "Yep, sure bet!" the earthbender grinned. "Wanna see if you can clear some of this rubble out of the way?" Ila slauted. "Yeeeeessiree!" She took a stance and stamped her foot into the ground, lifting up the messy pile of jumbled stone easily. "I'll try looking for Milus." "Gotcha!"

While Sesi and Min Ra had been conversing on firebending (which the boy would have killed for to be able to learn... though obviously a figure of speech), Kesuk stood around impatiently. He and Shila really had nothing to do at the moment, seeing as they were both waterbenders. Finally they got to take their place in the spotlight.

"Well, new crew," Min said, turning to them after finishing up her firebending training session with Sesi, "to get to the Fire Temple, we need to trim the sails and tack to starboard. There's a compass and a map, so I'll direct you while you get to it." Kesuk brightened. Finally, they were actually getting somewhere with this adventure!

"Aye aye, Captain Min!" the boy mock saluted, smirking. He turned to Shila, grinning. "Well, adventure, here we come, right?" Their adventure, at the moment, wasn't looking particularly great, having been attacked by a giant sea creature made entirely of water, and then losing pretty much the whole crew and passengers of the ship, but there was always the now.
[The passengers of the ship were the crew.]

Shila saluted. She then used waterbending to message Sesi's brothers that their sister had found a firebending teacher and would come with them to see the world, starting at the fire temple (by the way, she did this by forming the water into words. Took a lot of time, but was worth it). She ran to the sail, and started setting it, under Min's instructions. When the ship had completed its tack, she (for the dramatic effect) ran up to the prow of the ship, and yelled out to the world:

"We're going on an adventure!"

(( I meant like Shila's family... =P ))

///

Shila began to send water signals (as he called them) to Sesi's former ship, which no doubt carried her family (adopted, anyway), and Kesuk assumed she was telling them about how Sesi was coming with them to learn firebending. The boy watched the watery words form and smiled as Shila. She was a very talented waterbender, that was for sure.

Immediately, once that was done, Shila dashed over to the sail of the ship (which Kesuk had barely even noticed before now) and began to set it, as Min had ordered. He, too, joined in, and once everything was in tip-top shape, he saw his waterbending friend race over to the prow of the ship and yell out, "We're going on an adventure!" dramatically.

Kesuk smirked, but didn't say anything. Shila certainly was an interesting little thing, but he liked her nonetheless. She was smart, when the need came, and resourceful, not to mention creative. He took note of this from her invention of water surfing, which he remembered she had promised to teach. He shrugged. Now wasn't exactly the time.

((well Crap! Thanks RPN FOR NOTIFYING ME NEVER!!!))

((Oh well in that case))

Mayu walked around the ruined city with Kazu and Lew, trying to find there friends

((Thats alll I got for now))
((well maybe not))
Lew and Kazu looked at all the ruins of there Home town, The Town they were born in and Raised in tell there Dad was Killed. How could something so Bad happen to such a tiny Town like Saki? Kazu questioned in his Head, all the Memories that were shared, Not just by Lew and Kazu, but by other families as well....

((okay.... I think thats all I got))

(@The Meticulous Liar , that's fine! Whenever you can works for me!)

Milus padded wearily to Kala's side, reaching out slowly to pat the gentle giant. "I'm surprised you haven't moved away from him." He said, nodding in the direction of the body and letting his hand drop to his side. I would have, he mused, that smell is atrocious. The man shrugged and sat down, leaning against Kala and trying to block out the stench. "I guess we wait." He conceded to the animal, not expecting a response. All Milus hoped was that they were back soon.

Rav'n sped through the town, jumping over the rubble in his way. It was sparse in some places where the earth giant hadn't reached, but much of the road was littered with broken stone and crushed homes. The boy shook his head, wondering where all the villagers were. Where they would go now. The town felt ominously empty until he rounded a corner and saw, "Mei!" He exclaimed, skidding to a halt. "We looked around, but I don't think there's anyone here. I guess everyone got away." A sheepish grin pushed its way onto the airbender's face. "Sorry we didn't tell you sooner."

The boy sighed and put his arms behind his head, truly taking in the damage for the first time. "It's scary, isn't it?" He asked solemnly, the sporting grin gone. "Half a town destroyed, the other half ruined. All by some giant... thing. Makes you feel pretty small." Rav'n shook his head and turned back to Mei. "Sorry. I'm going to try to find Amita and everyone else. Want to come?" He didn't expect her to; she seemed content to go off on her own. Still, she was fun to be around. After a moment the boy offered up an encouraging smile, hoping she'd tag along.

[Hey, is "interesting an insult?]

(Sorries I'm here~)

Mei had no luck on her side either. She simply found abandoned homes and such. There were a few pets she had freed too. But there was otherwise no one left. She was about to delve deeper when she heard someone call her name. "Yeah I had no luck on my end either." She said as she sat down in the pile of wood she created. She was covered in dirt again, "Ah this? It does seem scary, but everyone got away. Which is good. What worries me is if something like this happens in a place like Ba sing se. Or even my-" she stopped talking. She'd never go back to her village so long as she was forced to be a leader. She thought for a moment. "I think I will come along. You guys aren't bounty hunters, none tried to steal my loot, I like you guys already" she said with a smile as she stood and dusted herself off, "I gotta apologize to Amita for running off anyways"

"Awesome!" Rav'n said a little over-enthusiastically. "We just need to find them. Which might be easier said than done." He thought for a moment, his hand unconsciously making its way to his chin, a habit he'd picked up from Milus. "Let me see if they're close." The airbender said as he dropped into a low stance. He smirked at Mei before saying, "Be right back!" The air around the two seemed to explode upward as the boy leapt into the air, propelling himself with his bending.

The sun shone down on the boy rocketing into the sky, its warmth contrasting the air moving quickly about him, whipping at his hair and clothes. The two elements came together in a relaxing balance, affording the boy a moment of joy from the freedom. He smiled and let the feeling wash over him until he was high enough to see over all of the buildings. Reluctant to let the relaxing distraction go, the boy boosted himself a little higher with his bending, relishing in the freedom that he felt.

At the peak of his jump Rav'n scanned the areas that he could see in front of him, looking for Ila and Amita. He couldn't find them, but three other figures caught his eye, two more familiar than the last. The airbender smiled and took in a big breath quickly, already feeling the tug of gravity pulling him back towards the solid ground. "KAZU! LEW!" He bellowed with all his might, trying to attract their attention.

The boy was falling quickly now, his upward momentum long gone. A meter or so above the ground Rav'n let out a gust of wind -the last in his lungs- and slowed significantly before touching down and taking another breath, this one choked with the dust he'd kicked up.

"Sorry about the dust." Rav said sheepishly. "I couldn't find Amita or Ila, but I did find a few other friends. Think we can grab them before we find the girls?" He stretched, something about Mei's 'loot' coming to mind. "But you might want to keep an eye on your stuff. They like to take things." He stuck out his tongue playfully after his (admittedly completely fair) warning, waiting for her response.

She shielded her eyes as Rav'n went into the air. "Whoa. Guy's got a good pair of lungs on himself" she whistled impressively as she watched him return to the ground. As he hit the ground, dust kicked up again and got her dirtier, "Don't worry about it" she flexed and the dust and dirt fell from her again, "Yeah sure. Thanks for the warning by the way" she grabbed the satchel she came across earlier during her search for survivors and threw her bags of loot in it. Each bag was a little lighter from her giving some away to the inn keeper to rebuild her inn. "However much they take is however deep they'll be buried" she replied just as playfully yet meaning it at the same time

[You know, this could be the start of a beautiful romance... if they weren't both thirteen. Maybe later...]

Once the ship was under way, Shila climbed down from the prow and went over to Kesuk. "The ocean is so beautiful, isn't it, Kesuk," she said, delighting in the sea breezes. She hadn't met the boy before the thing with her ice surfing, and she wanted to get to know him better. She also wanted to push away the empty feelings she got when he remembered how her family had been lost.

Kazu, Lew and Mayu just looked into the Yelling direction.

"RAV!!!!! MY MAN~!" Kazu yelled back, but he didn't see were Rav'n fell..... so I guess that was a problem, but Maybe Lew or Mayu knew.... Even thought Mayu just came Out of the blue and Lew and Kazu haven't really been talking to her, Nor has Mayu been Talking much herself.

"Who was That?" Mayu questioned a bit shock to here the Loud yelling with such a short Notice, but Maybe Lew knew.

"I think that was.... Rav?.... I didn't see him, but I heard him" "Lets go looking" "No, we should stay put, Then they come to us, it'll be easier that way." Lew Stated with another poker face.

"Aww come on, Rav probably didn't even see where we were! Lets g-" "That's a Good Idea Lew, If we stay here, when we won't lose a chance of finding people"

((meh))

(sorry for this post's shortness, kinda lost)

K t the moment was deciding whether to follow them or not. On one hand, she could follow an establish her cover, in another, she could go ahead, without a plan and get caught, possibly executed. She decided to follow them. "So...heading to Ba Sing Se?'

[ @ActionPony Oh no! Sorry, like interesting in a good way ;) Also oh my gosh yes X'D babies >=) ]

Kala made a happy noise as Milus approached her, and couldn't help but lick him just a little. While she didn't completely understand what the human was saying, she did understand the idea of what he said. She didn't like the smell of the charred body, that was for sure, but Amita had told her to wait here, and she didn't want her friend to be worried.

Meanwhile, Amita and Ila were trekking back to where Rav and Mei had last been seen. They caught sight of Lu and headed over to her. "Hey, Lu!" Ila called, before being joined by her airbender friend. "Yeah, we were going to head to Ba Sing Se. Where are you headed?" It felt nice just to have friendly, genuine small talk after all that had happened.

///

Kesuk almost jumped when he heard Shila join him. She must have come down from her throne when he wasn't paying attention. "The ocean is so beautiful, isn't it, Kesuk," she said, and he smiled. "Yeah, it sure is..." the boy trailed, blinking. "It's a lot prettier without the rampaging water monster spirit thing, though." he added jokingly. He couldn't help it.

He smirked at her. He'd seen her around before, back at the southern water tribe. She was pretty much known for making trouble, or at least, that's what his brothers had told him. Kesuk had always tended to be by himself, whether he was reading or practicing his waterbending. Being from a large family was what caused that, he assumed.

"Ba Sing Se as well, can I come with you guys? I feel like I've been getting lost for days." She said. It was true, she had been getting lost.

"Ba Sing Se as well, can I come with you guys?" Lu asked, and Amita cringed internally. They already had quite a few coming with them, and the though of another was a bit overwhelming. "I feel like I've been getting lost for days." Too bad for the airbender, because Ila had already piped up, "Yeah, of course!"

Amita glared. "I mean, of course you'd get lost! You are blind, after all! You don't even have a friend with you! That's got to be rough. And lonely. But that's what we're here for!" At this, the earthbender wrapped her arms around Lu excitedly. "We're your friends, of course! Best buddies! Pals forever!" The girl grinned, even knowing Lu would have no idea of it.

K tensed slightly as she felt contact and immediately fought the urge to stab her. "Yeah, friends." She replied with a gentle and soft smile.

Shila considered his statement seriously: "Yeah... it kinda is. It's hard to appreciate the beauty of the ocean when you're fighting for your life."

Changing tack, she asked him: "So, what do you think of this adventure?"

Shila didn't seem to understand he'd been joking, but he didn't mind. "Yeah... it kinda is. It's hard to appreciate the beauty of the ocean when you're fighting for your life." she said mystically, and Kesuk smirked. "Mhmm." he agreed in response, nodding his head casually. It really was, no matter what anyone else said.

She seemed to change subjects almost instantly, turning towards him. "So, what do you think of this adventure?" she asked, and he stared at her, a bit taken aback. "Well," he smirked, "that's a bit of a vague question. But anyway, I guess it's okay. After all, we've sailed all the way from the southern water tribe to get to a fire nation ship, and then we were attacked by a giant sea spirit... thing. I'd say a pretty good day so far."

Min Ra finished setting the ship on its course, walked over to the rest of the motley 'crew' and said: "It'll probably be a day before we reach the Temple. We need to set up some shifts for stuff, because we can't do what we're doing all day and not get bored. So, here are the needed jobs. We'll need a lookout for debris and other ships. And if they're a waterbender, they could make this ship go faster. Then there's the navigator, who keeps the ship on course. Currently, I think I, and maybe Sesi, are the only ones qualified to do that, although you guys (referring to Kesuk and Shila) can be taught. Everybody pitches in when there's a storm or a need to change course. We drop anchor at sunset. Now, any suggestions for the schedule?"

"We drop anchor at sunset. Now, any suggestions for the schedule?" Kesuk looked around, then looked at Min, raising his hand. "I'll take first shift for waterbending," he offered, "and the lookout-for-debris-and-other-ships thing, if no one else wants to. I don't know about you guys; I don't wanna force you into anything." He gave a lopsided grin.

Lyce walks towards Saki, in Lyce's left hand is a small loaf of bread. It doesn't take long for Lyce to wolf it down,

"Oh well, I can get more food in the to-"

He finally notices that the town has been destroyed and a couple of people are standing outside of the ruins,

".....Uh....." It takes him a couple of seconds to comprehend that the town is destroyed,

"
W-Wait!" He runs over to the ruins and starts digging through them,

"
No! I was supposed to get food here!" He yells in disappointment, Lyce remains digging through the rubble of what he thought was a ramen shop.

[QUOTE="Carriana Khaos]Sesi smiled at the praise it was a small victory for her "Alright here we go" she said to herself as she set about doing what Min had asked to be on their way.
