"We should find everyone else," Milus sighed, and Amita nodded. "Maybe the villagers too; one of them might know something about our earth spirit." "That's a good idea!" the girl grinned, and would have pat the man on the back if she didn't know how serious he was. He also didn't seem to be particularly happy with her bringing back all these people.
It wasn't her fault, though... People tended to gravitate toward her, she guessed. "Should we split up?" she suggested, glancing from Milus to Lyce. "Two people go look for the villagers, and one goes to find the others? Chances are, we won't be needing two people to bring back the mob," she joked, laughing, trying to get Milus more comfortable with their ever-growing numbers.

"Well, the adventure hasn't completed yet, so I couldn't quite tell you. But I can tell you that I didn't expect to fight that water-monster! What, by La, is that thing, anyways?"xXxKateKaysxXx said:"It's okay, I guess...." Kesuk smirked at Shila. "I mean, we've met some new people, and we got to fight off a giant water spirit...thing." He shrugged and chuckled, looking around. "Min's making dinner right? Where's Sesi?" The latter firebender he hadn't seen for a while. "Is she down there helping?"
The waterbender boy stretched, giving a soft groan. "How about you? How are you liking this whole adventure-thing? Is it everything you imagined?" He couldn't say this was what he had imagined, but adventures typically weren't what you expected. Kesuk patiently and politely awaited the girl's answer, giving her a soft grin.
[ @ActionPony It's totally fine! Same here; no worries! @Carriana Khaos ]
"Yeah, she probably is. The monster does sound a bit like a spirit, but I didn't think they usually interfered that much with the human world. And if they did, the Avatar usually takes care of it."xXxKateKaysxXx said:"Well," Shila said, "the adventure hasn't completed yet, so I couldn't quite tell you. "It could have been a spirit, but I wouldn't know."
He stretched again, giving a small yawn. "After all, I've never really seen one before, so there's nothing to compare it to." He glanced around a second time, before turning to Shila again. "Seriously, where's Sesi? She must be tired too... is she helping Min make dinner below deck?" He rubbed his eye and felt his stomach growl, much to his own embarrassment.

[Hey, xXxKateKaysxXx, does Kesuk want to try out the fire flakes?xXxKateKaysxXx said:"Yeah, she probably is," Shila said, and Kesuk nodded silently. "The monster does sound a bit like a spirit, but I didn't think they usually interfered that much with the human world. And if they did, the Avatar usually takes care of it." Kesuk nodded again. "That's what I thought too," he said, "But I haven't heard anything about the Avatar since I've been alive."
He frowned. "Well, nothing recent, anyway. I've heard stories about the Avatar, though. My grandparents would tell me all about them. Don't you think it's cool they can control all the elements, and not just one?" He grinned. "That's be so cool." He turned and stared out at the giant expanse of water, then back to Shila. "You think one of us could be the Avatar, and we just don't know it yet?"
[ Ha-ha, obvious joke is obvious ]
[Oops; sorry! Never got an alert! =P ]ActionPony said:[Hey, xXxKateKaysxXx, does Kesuk want to try out the fire flakes?
Min responded: "They're a traditional fire nation snack. They're flakes covered with some special spices. They're pretty hot, though. I like them, but the first time Shila tried some, she yelped and attempted to wash it down with a lot of water. By the way, Shila, I wasn't going to force them on anyone. They're here as a choice. After your reaction, I wouldn't force them on any unsuspecting Water tribesmen."xXxKateKaysxXx said:[Oops; sorry! Never got an alert! =P ]
"Yeah," Shila replied, "My mom liked to tell me stories about him. I think it'd be cool to be able to control all the four elements. Really, how could it not?" Kesuk grinned. "True," he smirked at her. "And in some of the stories, the Avatar could go into this weird state where their eyes glowed white and then they had even cooler powers."
Kesuk's face lit up even more, if possible. "Yeah! The 'Avatar State' or something like that. I don't remember. It's been so long since I've heard the stories," he added sheepishly. Suddenly, Min appeared from below deck, carrying a packet of... something. "Yeah," the firebender said, walking up, "I've always thought that would be the coolest thing, controlling all four elements."
Kesuk beamed at her. "I've always loved learning about what makes other bending styles work the way they do. I'm not sure about the whole mediator-with-the-spirit-world thing, though. I don't think I'd like being in a position with that much responsibility." The waterbender boy nodded understandingly. "That makes sense."
Then he shrugged. "I don't think I'd be all to good at it either, but I guess if you're the Avatar you get some serious spirit-interaction practice. I think it would get easier after a while, and then maybe it wouldn't seem quite as stressful...?" He shook his head. "But who knows, though...?" Shila nodded, before noticing the packet in Min's hand.
"Hey! Min!" the girl cried, seemingly annoyed. "We have guests here. No fire flakes!" Shila then turned to Kesuk curiously. "Unless... you want them, of course." The boy's eyes widened with interest. They sounded interesting, but he had to take a few precautions. "What's in them?" he asked, eyeing the packet. "And does Sesi want some first?"

Shila mumbled: "Pretty bad."xXxKateKaysxXx said:@ActionPony Sorry!!
"They're a traditional fire nation snack," Min said, and Kesuk nodded, interested. "They're flakes covered with some special spices. They're pretty hot, though." At this Kesuk gulped. Down in the Southern Water Tribe, they weren't usually used to eating 'spicy' things and so he was hesitant. "I like them, but the first time Shila tried some, she yelped and attempted to wash it down with a lot of water."
Kesuk laughed to himself at that, but one glance at Shila got him to shut up as well as he could. He covered his mouth, which only muffled the sound slightly. "By the way, Shila," Min continued, turning to the girl, "I wasn't going to force them on anyone. They're here as a choice. After your reaction, I wouldn't force them on any unsuspecting Water tribesmen."
Shila grinned. "Good!" Kesuk grinned too. "I might want to try just one..." he said, his smile faltering a bit. He was still hesitant about all of this, and wasn't sure how he'd react. "How bad can they be, right?" He didn't dare look away from Min, and a determined look was now plastered to his face. No going back now.
