Lyce smiles, it was nice to meet someone who's nice and cu- Did I just call her cute? He asks himself in his head,

"She sounds pretty cool." He says, Lyce is excited to get some food and to meet the bison,


"There need to be more people like you, people who are actually kind." He sighs.

"She sounds pretty cool," Lyce smiled excitedly, and Amita smiled back. "There need to be more people like you," the boy continued, and she raised an eyebrow, a bit confused, yet still curious. "People who are actually kind," he sighed, and Amita blushed. "Really?" she stuttered. "Thank you.." She liked Lyce, and was excited for him to meet the others.


"Everyone here is pretty nice," she pointed out. "And boy, do we have a lot of people here..." She giggled to herself. "I mean, let's see... There's Rav (he's an airbender too), Raiko (though I haven't talked to him too much), Lew (but he's pretty serious), Kazu (Lew's brother; he's funny), Agito (he's a little hot-headed), and Milus (Rav's friend; he's kind of scary at first but he's nice once you get to know him)."


She scratched her head. "Um... let's see, who else? Oh yeah! Mayu, I think her name was, (I haven't really talked to her much either), Lu (she's right behind you), Ila (she's really hyper), and Mei (she's kind of reckless, but she's still nice), and me, of course!" The girl grinned and flashed her hand in a wave, for emphasis.

"Neat. I can always self-teach fighting, but I have no idea where to start on healing."

"Yes, I'm an Earthbender," Lyce sighed, and Amita smiled, a bit unsure of what else to say next. A rather loud rumble from her new friend's stomach shook her from her thoughts. "D-Do you have any food, by chance?" Lyce asked sheepishly, and the airbender's eyes widened. "O-oh! Yeah, of course! I'm sorry; you must be really hungry!"


Amita beckoned for the earthbender to follow, "We have some fruit back where near Kala is. She's my sky bison." She glanced at K. "You can come too, Lu; you've got to be at least a little bit hungry as well." As they headed back to her furry friend, Amita caught sight of Milus and waved. She knew he wouldn't be happy about more newcomers, but what could she do?

"Yes," Min nodded, and Kesuk brightened visibly. He loved it when he was right, not that he'd ever admit to it. "Knots are the units of speed on board a ship. Now, we have a ship to sail, let's jump to it!" The boy saluted jokingly before heading to his post. He passed Shila and Sesi on the way, and waved, grinning.


Kesuk took his stance and then a deep breath, closing his eyes to calm himself. If he was going to waterbend for two hours straight, he figured he should prepare a little first. "Okay," the boy mumbled to himself, opening his eyes and facing the ocean, "let's do it." He thrust his hands forward, sending small waves to push the ship forward. They'd grow bigger in time, but he was determined to pace himself.

After two hours passed, Min Ra called out to her crew: "Okay! Time to switch jobs! Shila, you take Kesuk's place. Sesi, over here. I'd like to talk to you a little about what you know about navigation before I hand this over."


Shila walked forward to the bow and tapped Kesuk on the shoulder. "Okay, it's my turn," she said, "so you can get some rest now. You don't look your best."

Sesi approached Min Ra with a small smile on her face, navigation wasn't one of her strong points but her father had taught her a bit about it when she went with him on fishing trips back home. "Yes Master Min," she said respectfully once she was next to her teacher.

Rav'n couldn't tell if Mei was joking was joking or not, but he let out an uneasy chuckle, choosing to believe the former. "Anyways, let's go find them!" He changed the subject. "They should be over there." He said vaguely, gesturing to where he'd seen Lew, Kazu, and Mayu. "C'mon!" The boy moved to go, glancing over his shoulder at Mei to make sure that she was coming. He wondered if she and Kazu would get along. More likely they'll get in a fight. Then Lew'll step in. The last thought sent a shiver down his spine, his encounter with the firebender still fresh in his mind. Still, they're our friends now, right?


Milus stood up and stretched briefly as he saw Amita, Ila, Lu, and a new person. Great, he thought, scowling inwardly while he waved back at Amita politely. He glanced at the new person, a girl by the looks of it while strolling forward, ignoring the smell from the body. "Found Kala." He said, letting a smirk curl his mouth a fraction. "We might want to move though. Still stinks here." He looked back at Lyce and then to Lu, still uncomfortable with them. Maybe it was time for him and Rav to take their leave.


"By the way," Milus started, looking back at Amita, "any idea where Rav's gone?" He wasn't to worried about the boy; Rav'n had been fine even before their paths had crossed. Still, he could always find a way to get in trouble. The thought almost made the man roll his eyes.

Kesuk barely even heard Min's voice as she called, "Okay! Time to switch jobs!" He was too focused on his waterbending, and had barely even noticed that two hours had passed since he'd started. "Shila, you take Kesuk's place," Min continued, before turning to the other firebender. "Sesi, over here. I'd like to talk to you a little about what you know on navigation before I hand this over."


Kesuk jumped as he felt someone lightly tap him on the shoulder. "Whoa-huh?!" he whirled instinctively, hands raised in a defensive position. Luckily, it was only Shila, who looked at him. "Okay, it's my turn," she said, "so you can get some rest now. You don't look your best." Kesuk nodded. "Yeah," he sighed. "Thanks. Good luck with your turn."

Also, Lyce, this is Milus, and Milus, this is Lyce. Lyce is an earthbender." The girl uneasily awaited their responses, especially Milus. He already didn't look happy with the fact she'd brought yet another newcomer.


"By the way," Milus asked, "any idea where Rav's gone?" Amita shook her head. "No, actually. Last I saw him, he was with Mei. Do you want us to go and help look for him?" She looked at Lyce. "You don't mind, do you? It shouldn't take too long; if it does you can always wait here with Kala. She can hold her own."

Shila took her place on the bow, looking out for debris, and waterbending the ship forward. It was simple, but it was different work than Shila was used to, so she took a bit of time to get used to it.

Lyce thinks for a second,

"I think I should come along, if I were to stay I would probably end up eating all the food." He chuckles,


"But I really would." He says in a normal tone,


"Anyways, nice to meet you, Mr. Milus." Lyce holds out his hand for a handshake.

Milus regarded Lyce as Amita spoke to her (him), still annoyed at the extra company. "Hi." He said flatly before shaking Lyce's hand and offering a small nod. He turned his attention back to Amita after a moment. "No, it'll be okay. I'll go find him if he's gone much longer." The man decided, shaking his head slightly. "Let's go closer to the town though." And away from the body, he silently asserted. Whoever it was, he couldn't help the unlucky man now and wasn't about to keep him company.

Slinging her bag over her shoulder, Mei kept close behind Rav'n. He was pretty cool for a tenderfoot. She chuckled lightly as the sudden image of a turtleduck with ravn's face popped up into her mind. How it were related to him being an air bender was beyong her, "So are they tender- I mean are they airbenders like you and Amita?" She asked him, looking to make conversation

"Nope, one is a firebender though." Rav'n replied, dropping his pace so that he was next to Mei. "When we met they were with an airbender named Raiko. I don't know where he's gone though." The boy continued on, rounding a (mostly destroyed) corner building and catching sight of the three again. "There they are." He said to Mei, picking up his pace once more and waving. "Hey!" He yelled, running up to them. "Thought it was you." He smiled easily but the expression slipped a bit when he looked at Lew. The firebender still made Rav a little nervous. He shrugged the feeling off as best he could and looked around at the brothers. "Did either of you see Amita or Milus?" The boy asked. "We're trying to find them and figure out what just happened."


"By the way, I'm Rav." The airbender said, turning to the girl. "Sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier. I was a little distracted with the whole earth-golem-spirit-thing." He let a smirk play across his face as he absentmindedly ran his fingers through his hair. "So, what's your name?"

Amita nodded in agreement; she really didn't like being around that corpse, even if she didn't know who it had been. "Yeah, they're probably closer towards the town anyway." She laughed when Lyce joked about eating all of the food. "Well, you did say you were hungry," she pointed out, smiling and shrugging her shoulders.


She turned and looked at Kala, who made a sad noise. "I'm sorry," Amita said, looking at the animal's huge brown eyes sympathetically. "I promise we'll be back a lot sooner than last time. And then maybe we can finally get back on course!" she laughed. "Also we'll have to find someone who can help us find out what that thing was..." she added quietly.

[ @Syfyre Well, for one thing, she's a little big to maneuver very well through the trees, and also she'd be pretty slow and might be too much of a hassle to bring =/ idk ]

"Alrighty then!" Lyce smiles and decides to follow them,


"So where are we headed again?" he asks as he looks at Amita.

"Alrighty then!" Lyce nodded, smiling. "So, where are we headed again?" he asked, turning to Amita. "We're going to go and look for Rav," the girl smiled back. "He's probably with Mei." She turned to look at Milus, a bit confused. "So... are you going to come with us? Or are you going to stay, and watch Kala?"


The sky bison made a happy noise and snuffled the man's shoulder affectionately, making the airbender giggle. "I think she wants you to stay with her; she's really starting to like you." Amita knew initially Milus had wanted nothing to do with he beast, and was very cautious around her, but it seemed the man was warming up to her.

"A firebender with sticky fingers huh?" She gently and thoughtfully pressed her fist into her open hand, "This'll be fun" when they caught sight of who Mei Yun assumed to be Lew and Kazu, she pointed. However before she could point them out Rav'n had already mad his way to them. Mei kept up, "Its all good. I'm Mei Yun. Mei Yun the traveling earthbender." She smirked and held out her hand to Rav'n and the others, "Nice to meet ya"

Milus glanced at Lyce and sighed heavily. The last thing he wanted was another bubbly girl. "We should find everyone else." He asserted, "Maybe the villagers too; one of them might know something about our earth spirit."

Kazu turned to The yelling,"RAV MY MAN!!!!!" He said with a smile. Then he asked about the other 2,"No we haven't seen them, we were looking for just random people... and Raiko" Lew turned to Rav and then Mayu, then back to Rav,"have you Met Mayu? She's a water bender"


Mayu Nodded,"Yes, I'm also a healer, are any of you hurt?"
