Lilly sketches the dim glow of his magic for a while. "I wonder what he's doing down there," she asks herself and looked at the glow. "I wonder if he's okay."

"That's it, I'm going in," Lilly sets the sketch book down and puts a spell of water resistance on herself and heads down in there in a bubble. "Nate?!"

Currently in his human form Kai'zen watches the scene from across the lake silently considering whether or not he should intervene, he walks along the shore line just out of sight continually watching for signs of trouble. There is a crackle of electric energy in his hands that usually alarms him to powerful magic being used in the area. "I really don't like this."

Lilly grabs her notebook as she splashes out of the lake and flips through the pages, drawing runes and saying their names, creating a ward around her, almost like a force field except impenetrable and invisible.

Seeing the forcefield go up Kai'zen dashes over his hand on the wrapped up hilt of his sword, only to stop dead in his tracks seeing a girl hurriedly scribbling runes and the ripples from the water she was in. " uh, are you. Ok?"

Lilly jumps and bites back a scream from shock. "Holy! Don't you know better than you sneak up on girls?!" She holds her sketchbook tightly. "Yes, I'm fine, sort of."

Kai'zen looks down an embarrassed look on his face, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you. I just noticed the commotion and came to see if I could help" his eyes flit over to the water where he identifies a shape deep below it's surface. "What's down there the magic it's using is disrupting this area greatly"

"A friend of mine, hes having issues is all. Might be a temper tantrum, want to walk back to town, he needs alone time," Lilly says, glancing at the water.

Nodding in an understanding way he turns his head towards the trail leading to this spot, "I would be glad to accompany you back to town I was heading there anyway" he turns his body towards the trial but waits for the young woman to follow
