Futuristic Agent of Maniacles OOC and Characters

Once again RPN cucked me.
Nah I didn't feel offended at all but I also appreciate the support.

I actually COMPLETELY understand where Abated is coming from and agree to an extent. While trans ≠ gay, bare with me here for a second.

I've met some gay people that are OBNOXIOUSLY loud. They talk about engaging in crass topics with the same sex to be honest, just to make a point.

I say to make a point because my straight friends would be approached by these types of people and would blatantly offer the same thing to them. When the friend, gods bless em, would politely decline, they'd either be interrogated or backlashed about being 'against' it. These same type of people would announce just how 'gay' they were.

Ive met similar for trans too where they pop their friggin lid if you don't go by their preferred pronouns.

which is another debate but for the sake of simplicity.. I disagree with imposing pronouns if
1. The person is obnoxious about it
2. They don't even tell you

The lgbtq+, I'm sorry, has some very very loud aspects to the social group that I'd rather not. I just know idc what the person's gender is for romance, I am INCREDIBLY repulsed by the concept of sex (before anyone chimes in- Ive already tried and didn't work great emotionally despite loving the shit out of the man), andd there are days that I want to be seen among the 'male' population without anyone batting an eye saying 'wait that's a chick.'

I must agree to an extent though I agree about when you're born what you're born as. People are going to have memories of their 'dead' life so it is very much apart of them

Personally, I think a lot of people often ignore the importance of culture and society when it comes to behavior. I also think humans in general are incapable of ever living in a manner that would let us be accepting of or always looking at things from all perspectives, especially when we are part of groups. A person is smart, people are stupid. We're also prone to behavior that I don't think can be taken out of us.

So like religion for example.

You may have an an atheist or someone who grew up with religion as an oppressive system and they might say 'The world would be better off with religion. It flies planes into buildings, oppresses gay people etc." All this is true.

I think people who say stuff like that ignore certain fundamentals truths, though. If religion didn't exist or at the least if Christianity wasn't the dominant religion...what do you think would have happened? Something else would have filled that gap. It would have had a different name, different structure, had its set of pros and cons, but it would have filled that itch we as people have for faith and group think.

Now yes I know we weren't talking about religion, but I'm using to illustrate a point. I think we are prone to being drawn to groups and belief systems. Religion is part of society of course. What is society if not a set of the majority agreeing to a social contract? I think society produces large examples of herd mentality, but people in the herds who are high in intellect, creativity, ambition, and more often than not ruthlessness tend to decide the direction of these herds or at least have a strong influence on them. For better or worse.

Also, before I'm called out for being anti-religious at all. I am not. Religion has provided many help to the less fortunate, inspired much great art, and philosophy. I view religion, economic systems, government systems, and pretty much anything else in the manner of a double edged sword.

My point is ...

Three people can have very similar ideas or beliefs. One might feed a million people. The other might kill million. And a third guy might do both.
I took a class on political philosophy and cultural sociology. Both classes I feel like you would enjoy because they touch upon these points.

funny enough, I have a set of twins from my character arsenal that follow this philosophy.

Their world was nothing but a blank canvas in another alternative universe. Being deities in their own respect, they were physically in charge of creating the world in their own image. Both of them vowed to never replicate the way of the humans, noting how labels and organizations split the society apart.

Their own sex too was a canvas as well. They had neither male or female reproduction systems.

Slowly but surely, much to their dismay, the world began to mold, separating themselves into different ideologies and philosophies very much like the humans.

They theorized that the world cannot remain 'one color' forever and while the two are identical right down to their fingerprints, they're going to have their own idea how the world should grow.

I just snipped it short tho

Riveting discussion, but I'm gonna bounce before I say something that gets me in trouble. Somebody PM me when y'all are done.

I doubt you'll get in trouble. I try to make this place a judgement free zone.

AbatedBigfoot AbatedBigfoot I may have disagreed with Foot's opinion or at least thought the could have worded it better. But I still love the dude and respect the man and his opinion. He's a good guy.

But we'll stop for now.

I'm going to lapse back into my usual persona then.

Beleth Beleth

Your story brought to mind another story from my own life once! This has nothing to do with the conversation at hand, but I feel the need to bring it up. I knew a woman that was repulsed by sex once.

The conversation went like this.

Woman: I don't know...it just doesn't work for me.

Me: You ever been with a man?

Her: Yeah, a few

Me: How about women?

Her: A couple

Me: Well, you ain't never been with me. This black thing.

That's how you get it done my friends. You see there was Brenda, Latisha, Diane, and Alicia. Cookie I met her at an Ice Cream parlor. BOUT THREE KIMS! Stacy, Tracy, Rhonda, and Wanda.

At least you aren't fighting just to find a roleplay partner when it's all slowing down.

That's fair. I got work as my roleplay partner. LOL
I intentionally took courses below my level at school because I just need credits and I'm an underachiever, but my plan got fucked up and my shit's still in storage from the move over here, and now I have too much free time

Can you pick up more extra curriculars?

You wanna see me on the news for killing somebody? I can't do social activities like that.
